I have had a storage unit here for almost 5 years without a problem. I got an email to sign a new lease but the format on the e-document isn’t readable and I haven’t had a chance to make it into the office to talk to them about it. Within a week of sending the document to me they have locked me out of my storage unit - even though they have already charged my card for the month to pay for the unit. I did not get a phone call/text/email telling me I wouldn’t be able to access my storage unit until it was signed, they just put a lock on it. I needed to get into my storage unit and got there 30 minutes after close today and when I called the customer service line to ask why my unit had a lock on it she was very rude and told me it wasn’t her problem that I needed access to it and to call back on Monday. I will be moving my belongings out by the end of the month.

Great storage place with good security and 24 hour access

I was hit with the fact I had the week end to move every thing I own so I looked up 24hours storage in my area reserved a unit on line and it was that easy no long waits no hassle the next day rolls in and I get a phone call my wife answers the phone and then gets off I say who was that she said it was the storage place varifiing are reservation I thought that was so cool.then i go to.get my storage didnt take long at all very helpful and kind service all my questions where answered and all my needs where taken care off very professional and I was very happy and releaved that I had the unit I needed and it was fast and no problems but best of all there facility is open 24 hours there is always times you need to get things from your storage and it ends up.being after hours well i dont have that problem not at all THANK YOU self storage AKA got storage I must say its been a great pleasure doing business with this company

Got Storage in Layton is the only place in Layton to get top-quality care at a VERY reasonable price. Nice, clean facility! Excellent security measures! Best of all, the staff is always willing to do whatever they can to assist renters in making things as carefree and convenient as possible. There are several storage sites popping up in close proximity to Got Storage, but I think it’s very unlikely that they’ll be able to offer all the amenities and security that Got Storage provides.I will probably ALWAYS need a storage unit, and in this case, I just moved my belongings to another unit. No sense even checking prices at neighboring facilities. They won’t have what Got Storage offers. Thank you!

Never had any issues with them. Seems to be a decent storage place. I do wish they had rv storage though.

We used this storage shed to temporarily hold our things while we waited for our house to be finished. The location was good. Free moving van to move things in. However when it came the to move out they were going to charge us $100+ to use the truck. We ended up using a truck from another storage shed that was free to use. I guess they didnt want their storage shed advertised while we out and about....

My husband and I went into the office to ask a few questions about a potential unit and the gentleman behind the counter was extremely rude and had poor customer service. After the conversations volume had raised, a female worker ( I wish I could remember her name) was very helpful with clearing the confusion from the previous worker and answering all of our questions with ease. After the talk with the female employee I felt better with the outcome, however, this place has gone down hill since the last time I had family storing here (no longer in the state or else I am sure they would have taken their business elsewhere regardless) . We will no longer choose this business as our own storage location.

Very good service. I used Got Storage! for my business storage when I was still in the early stages of my business, and it was great. The keypad for the automatic gate makes access much nicer and the 24-hour access is also a huge bonus when you’re needing access to supplies at different hours of the day and night. It’s well lit and their are security cameras throughout the complex, so I always felt my inventory was safe.

We have been very satisfied with the overall experience at Got Storage. Sophie has been diligent in making sure our needs are met when we call or come in, and it is greatly appreciated. The units are easily accessed from Antelope or from the back entrance, have wide lanes that can easily handle a 27 foot trailer and truck, and the ability to rent a moving van there made for a great package!One constructive criticism, though, is that the gutter downspout was right next to the unit door, and when it rained this winter, the water would freeze the door to the ground, requiring us to chisel the ice out to open it. Not sure how to remedy this, but just fyi...M

Worst experience Ive ever had with a storage unit company! AVOID THIS HORRIBLE FACILITY! The one day a week when everyone is moving youd expect better service is Saturday but there was a line of ten cars waiting to get in to their storage units and several stuck inside trying to get out! The person on duty there early in the day had let people in because the computer system was down but decided to leave early (even though all those cars wouldnt be able to get out without their help!!) because they were short staffed! Theyre supposed to be open until 2pm on Saturday but they had all completely left by 10:30am?!?!Every single person here waiting has tried calling their number but just gets directed to a corporate call center that cant do anything but tell us theyll have the site manager get a hold of us when they can. What kind of service is that?? We changed our plans to try again another day and left but people were still locked in there completely unable to get out until some manager decides to do his job and run their storage facility on the day of the week they should have it fully staffed!We will absolutely be doing business elsewhere. Got Storage Layton is run terribly and cant even let people out when they get locked inside.

The facilities are great. The previous management was less than professional. I am hopeful the new management can successful straighten out my particular situation. Mysteriously they had moved me out virtually, on paper. I had to move me back in. All my items were still in the unit. Yay!! I had over paid (insurance issue) for 10 months and hope to recoup the full amount. Though it is not a tremendous amount, I would hope owners would like to keep a good and legal reputation and credit me the full amount.

They were short staffed the day I picked up a truck and the manager working went above and beyond to make sure everyone got what they needed and she was very friendly and helpful, definitely will be going back for my trucks from there now on. Great customer service skills

I rented a unit for about a year and a half with almost no issues. In august come to find out my unit was broken into and it was devastating. Kadi the manager was really helpful but my review boils down to the other things. We submitted an insurance claim and 2 months have gone by with NO response whatsoever. They also wanted receipts, which some things we bought in early 2000s so obviously we don’t have any. Also there so called “security” cameras are a joke. There are MANY blind spots which even Kadi admitted and some weren’t even working!!! Also we couldn’t even read a license plate from 10 feet from a camera in broad daylight so definitely not HD or any of the sort. I have almost accepted that we won’t be paid for the stuff the thieves stole.I hardly post reviews but I wanted to warn people of my experience with them.

The people are super friendly! I would have given them 5 stars but there was a mix up on the storage unit #. The guy booked me into 401 but when I went to put my boxes in it it was locked. I drove down to the office and a lady was working at the time and she said she would have to move me into 402. So I began putting my boxes in 402. After I left, the lady called me and left a voicemail. She said that I needed to be put in 400. I went to 400 and the storage unit was filthy with debris, dirt, metal screws and other random metal parts. This storage unit had apparently housed an ATV because there wereand oil spills and tire Marks from an ATV. I decided not to move from 402 because of 400s condition.

Just reaised their prices, gave us reason to get rid of everything in storage. We no longer have our stuff in Got storage. Nice employees. I wouldnt store pillows, cusions, couches or beds...we had evidence of mouse droppings in our storage.

We had to dig our door out of the ice to get it open and there was tons of slippery ice in front of our storage with no ice melt. They are pricey so Id expect better care of the property. Do not recommend.

I have been utilizing storage units at “Got Storage” in Layton, Ut. for 2 1/2 Years now. Their customer service is professional but yet very genuinely personable. They will do whatever they can within their legal means of helping the customer meet their needs for storage. The units are well maintained and kept clean. The security of the Storsge units and of the storage property are well covered. I have been very satisfied with doing business with them and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a storage unit.

They are courteous, take the time necessary to help you with whatever questions, problems, etc. you have, and make sure you are satisfied to the best of their ability before you leave. The office staff is also easy to get ahold of and there is even an after hours answering service so you can be assured to get in touch with someone whenever you need to. Got Storage has video surveillance that is not only top of the line, but is kept up to date and in great working condition. They are the only storage facility in the area that I feel comfortable leaving my belongings at because I know that if something were to happen, Got Storage would do everything in their power to make sure that my things were recovered. Plus with the added convenience of my own personal gate code I am able to access my unit 24 /7 so no matter what may come up in my personal life, I know I dont have to work my schedule around my storage units hours. Got Storage has my busy life in mind and has done everything they can do to help make at least one thing in my life easier to deal with, including a variety of ways to pay my bill making even my banking and bill paying a little less stressful. The best in the business, bar none!

As far as storage units there nice but dealing with the office stinks. Two weeks ago made plans to move some of my stuff to my new place. Show up at the office at 9:05am which the office should of been open had to wait 2 1/2 hr for someone to show up to take care of a couple things with my account so I could open the gate. Not only I hade to wait but all my friends how showed up to help.Then today I called to make sure someone was going to be in at 9:00am I was planing on down sizing from one unit to the other. Drove from Smithfield 80miles no one at the office at 9:00 or 10:00am when I left three other people came and left also one was a Penske Customer very upset. I called no answering service went directly to voice mail. I wish my business I didn’t need to make money like Got Storage in Layton Utah on antelope drive....
