I took my truck in that was not running right. They diagnosed the problem and recommended a tune up. Pricing was fair, and the turn around time was excellent! They offered me a loner vehicle or a ride if I needed. The customer service was top notch. The mechanics were very knowledgeable and professional. They even left a Thank you card in my truck when I picked it up after hours. This shop is operated by people who very genuinely care about customer service, and they hold themselves to the highest standard. They even gave me a Military discount without me even asking! I will exclusively use Deakins Precision from here on out.

Id been nursing a slow coolant leak for months when the issue came to a head, stranding me in Lebanon one recent afternoon about 30 miles from home. I found Deakins on Google (where I have my Lafayette, Ind., business Smittybread Bakery listed) and decided to give them a try. I was impressed by the friendly service, quick diagnosis of my vehicles problem, and clean garage. Gary and Jason Deakins saved the day for our family. We were towing a travel trailer to South Carolina to celebrate Christmas on the beach. But, our 2010 VW Touareg TDI broke down in Lebanon, IN on 12/23. Gary and his team worked tirelessly to diagnose the issue (failing carrier bearing), coordinate with part suppliers, rebuild the bearing, and get us back on the road all in the same day with no advanced notice at a time of year when most shops were either closed or unwilling to schedule extensive repair work. Jason even lent us his generator so that we could power the trailer while we waited for the repair. This is a multi generational family business with deep roots in the Indy racing community, and it shows in the way they conduct business. All i can say is WOW. i was told by another mechanic that i had a 3000 dollar issue, and i brought my truck in for a second opinion to deakins. Not only did they prove the other mechanic wrong, they looked at my problem for free. Jimmy called me each step of the way and my truck drove smooth after only $100 spent. This shows their values in honesty and true customer service.
