UPDATE:A replacement light is available on Amazon for much less than the Sears Parts price. The store agreed to reimburse the price of the part. BUYER BEWARE - Unless you are NOT concerned AT ALL with the price of service and/or replacement parts, you need to purchase the extended warranty.I bought a new refrigerator (to replace an existing 20+ year old Kenmore) from this store in February 2017. I did not purchase the extended warranty. In November 2018 the interior light failed. Called the store, they suggested calling the service number to check warranty status, called the service number and they said it was outside the warranty period, I was referred to parts department (replacement plastic LED part is $194.60), then I was referred to complaint department who repeated that it was outside the warranty period. Complaint Department suggested calling the store back. When I called the store back, the guy said you should have bought the extended warranty. Long story short, dont buy a Kenmore refrigerator, but if you do, buy the extended warranty.

After spending 2 hours at Home Depot with an associate that did not know much about the products (kitchen appliance package) we found out that delivery would be 2.5 months out. We originally had wanted to buy American but the Samsung package at Home Depot was hard to pass up. So we were even more thrilled that Sears was not only going to be able to deliver far ahead of HD, but the price difference for buying American ended up being minimal. Knowledgeable staff, painless transaction. We have always purchased our appliances at Sears and are happy that we are continuing to.

I was told they had the washer and dryer I was looking at online in stock, I showed up with a truck and they said they only had the floor model, which they couldnt sell because the manager is funny about selling floor models... I even offered to pay full price in cash!I ended up going to the Home Depot a few miles away and found what I was looking for at a better price. I dont own a truck, there was a lot of coordination to get a friend to help me pick them up and I needed to buy a washer and dryer that day or else have to pay someone else for delivery. Its kind of understandable that Sears is a failed company. If I were the owner, my socks would be for sale at the right price.

I love this store. I can go in there anytime and know that they will always help me out to the fullest. I have never had a bad experience. I understand when they need my model number but that is because they just would like to make sure they get me the correct part or item. Thank you guys. YALL ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff that works there acknowledge me but did not push me. I went to two other stores where no one acknowledge my presence so I went back to Sears to get a new washing machine and a new refrigerator. Was every pleased with the service that I received and knowledge on the appliances. I would recommend going there.

Starting off, the staff were covering from another store and they were not familiar with how thing operated. No problem, Ive been there before. However, the 12 hour time frame for delivery and only 30 minutes to respond to a left VM at 7:30pm is not acceptable, especially since they did not call the main contact number.There are only 2 days during the week they can deliver to your area and the delivery driver lied to me.Turns out I did not miss the delivery but the truck broke down and although he would continue the delivery the next day it would not be in my area so I get to wait another week. The lady was very nice who I spoke with at the store however she never called me back after I followed up twice. I am sure theyd figure I wouldnt cancel since at this point its only a few days. Unfortunately they are right, that being said, they are a shining example of why Sears is going out of business. Terrible management and are not willing to even have the common courtesy to show others respect who give them the benefit of the doubt.Quick update: I eventually gave up trying to talk to the owner. The delivery driver came about a week later and did not bring a dryer hookup, so I had to take care of that myself as well. One would think for a first time installation, you would be prepared for something like that.In short save yourself the trouble, as the owner clearly has no character.

Nice store, reminds me of the old Sears Store, we used to visit back when I was a kid, wow thats been a while ago. I had a defective craftsman rachet, walked in and showed it to them and they gladly exchanged it for a new one, thats why I buy Craftsman tools, Thank You Sears.

Where to start, my husband and I went to the store to purchase a tool box that was showing on sale. Upon arriving at the store it took 15 minutes for an employee to come help us they was standing around talking. We should them what we want and they went to the back to get it. Ten minutes later they came out and said yes they did have it but we would have to order it on line to get the sale price, and then they would get the order within 15 minutes. At that time they would bring it out and ring it up for us. So we did everything they said. While waiting they started closing the store up, driving all the lawnmowers that where outside inside and blocking all the walk ways. The hole store smelled of gas and made me very sick. After about 30 minutes they cam to use and said that they have not received the online order yet, it was closing time that we would have to come back the next day. They said I would receive an email when the order was ready for pick up. The next morning about 9 am I received the email saying my order was ready for pick up. I drove to the store and showed them the email so I could pick it up. They went to the back and about 20 minutes later came out and said my order was not there and they tracked it and it would not be in for a week. I showed them the email and they told me there was nothing they could do and I would have to come back in a week. After this and being sick for the next three days from the gas fumes in there store I called and canceled our order and requested a refund. Three weeks later I still have not received my refund I have called three times and been told that on there end it shows already refunded and they will sent the information to there processing department and I will here from them in 3-5 business days and after they research it if a refund needs to be done then it will be another 3-5 business days after that before we will get it. So right now we have been waiting 3 weeks for a refund and now being told it could be another 1-2 weeks. The service we are getting is unprofessional and unacceptable. I have tried several times to talk to a manger at the customer service line and the store and no one will let me talk to a manager. The staff at the call center are rude and unprofessional, Half the time you cant even understand them. This is the last time I will be shopping or doing any business with Sears. There are to many other great stores out there that I can shop and will get excellent customer service, a manager when needed, able to understand the person I am talking to.

Just make sure you know what you need by part number, because they dont. I went in for a set of mulching blades. They tried to sell me the wrong ones. Luckily based off a past experience here when I purchased my riding mower, I new to come prepared. Slack at best.

Sale associated rude and disrespectful. She was yelling at me about the notice they emailed me dont mean nothing. Fussing and complaining about looking for my order since she didnt have any help. As I was making suggestion on how I can transfer my merchandise she was still not willing to assist me with obtaining my merchandise that I already paid for. While other customers are in the store, she stated I should have called first. They only got a 1 star is because my merchandise was there. I had to tell her she has poor customer service skill and she was arguing with the customer. Sad part about it is that her job to assist customers. I continue to remain calm never got out of character knowing they will not get another penny from me.

Unfortunately this review is not of the store necessarily but the products. I purchased a blower a few years ago. It wouldnt start after a few uses. I exchanged it. I used the new one for 3 or 4 times and it quit starting. I again returned it and was given another. I used that one 3 or 4 times and it quit starting. I returned it and now this one wont start... again. Its not the gas. I purchase the 40 to 1 high performance two stroke fuel to ensure no problems. I follow the directions exactly. Im not sure what the problem is but this is ridiculous. They wont accept an exchange on this one and the trouble of going out in the morning to do yard work only to not have your equipment work repeatedly is quite annoying and has cost me time and a lot of gas and several sore shoulders. Ive been told that I must have the original receipt and of course the warranty would be out even if I did have it although the equipment was replaced at a later date with a new, out of the box item. I used to be able to depend on Sears equipment but the quality seems to have diminished a great deal. Its no better than going to Harbor Freight and getting their less expensive off brand equipment. In fact, if I had to do it over again with the knowledge of my experience, thats exactly what I would do. But no, I just want equipment that will work when I need it to. I wish I would have been told it was a disposable 3-4 use blower. That would have made more sense and I wouldnt have purchased it to begin with.I have read and thank the person for the response and unfortunately I must disagree with the quality. I also purchased a $500 Kenmore gas grill, kept it covered and inside, did not use a spray bottle or moisture when cooking, and the burner box rusted away after one year. I found it was a defect with the model and it was finally replaced after I printed an article where a top executive said the parts would be replaced free of charge on the model. It didnt really matter since the back rusted away also a few months later. It was not ONE blower but several that had the same problem even while I followed the directions and used 40 to 1 fuel in the can as I thought it might be a fuel mix problem with the first one. Even if I could find the receipt from the original, it would be out of warranty although I received a new one when I exchanged the previous ones. That still means they quit working prior to the warranty out of the box. They are craftsman blowers. I do wish for the same quality as I used to enjoy with the equipment. It simply is not there anymore. I will probably purchase more things from the store but will be limited to tools and not equipment unless Im looking for a temporary fix. Maybe if materials are purchased here instead of China, the quality will improve. I hope so.

Unprofessional and overpriced! Showed up half hour before close ready to spend $400 on tools. Lady said I have 10 minutes to get to the register before it locks her out. When I did research on tool prices, internet advertised $188.00 for 450 pc mechanic tool set. Their price, $269! Asked why and was told they arent liquidating. Well...how come I was directed to your store from the website? That price only available in Florida. Whattt?? Kept rushing me, you have 2 more minutes left!! 10 minutes later I was ready😉. Register not locked out. If I didnt need the tools for a new job so badly and didnt drive almost an hour to get the advertised prices, I would have walked out. I will honestly never return and tell everyone I know to never go there. Its like they dont want you to bother them. The lady I dealt with had no name tag but acted and talked like she was the owner/franchisee. Never getting any more of my money.

Went to the Lexington, SC Sears to replace a garden hose I purchased which a a no quibble lifetime warranty. The associate said they have none in stock and “due to a situation” with the supplier in China they are no stocking as quickly. He said he would not order one and I would have “check back” to see if in stock.Lousy customer service. I asked if he could call me when they arrived. He told me write down my number and leave it at the register. He never returned to the counter. I feel safe in saying Sears will never see a another dime of my money. Easy to undrestand now why the are going out of business. They just haven’t announced it yet.

Worse place ever!! Very unprofessional!! My husband has been dealing with having a tool replaced that has a lifetime warranty, for months!! Hes been up there 3 times and has gotten many excuses as to why the tool was still laying on the counter. He is on the phone with the corporate office now!! NEVER will walk in this store again!! That lady is very rude!! Dont know how she keeps her job!!!

I have been in the store numerous times. You would think I would have learned my lesson. Each time I have been treated rudely or totally ignored. Last night we ordered a saw for my sons birthday. I did store pickup as they had 3 in stock. I received an email at 9:30 this morning saying it was ready for pickup. I printed it off and went to the store about 12:00. There were two working and two customers in the store when I got there. The owner was friendly and said he would be right with me. The customer he was helping said she could finish looking, and he could help me, which he did. I told him what I was there to pick up and that I had an email saying it was ready. He sent the second man to look for it. The second man came back saying it was not in the back. Then he asked me what it was. I told him and pointed it out on the email. The second guy said they were in the store on the shelf, to which the owner replied that I could not have one from the shelf. So I explained that I did not have it shipped to the store, I had bought it from the store as they had 3 left. They didnt seem to understand, maybe because they didnt read the email. I made the remark that this is how it is every time I buy something from this store, to which the owner replied, Well, then you are not doing something right! First of all, what happened to the customer is always right, secondly, I had an email saying it was at the store. I went online, purchased it, checked store pickup, and got an email saying it was ready for pickup. I dont know what I did wrong. When the owner saw he had struck a nerve, he backed off saying he was playing with me, which he wasnt because he was as serious as an heart attack when he said it. He tried to explain that he was a new owner and the customer service was so much better now. NO...it is not! It is worse. They need to read up how to do store pickup. My daughters have even complained about the service and the way they are treated in this store. My husband, who knows his tools better than anyone, was treated like he was a moron the first time we went in this store. (That was under the previous owners) I will really need something pretty bad before I go back. We had really considered buying 2 more of these saws for my son in laws, but we will pay double before buying them from this store.
