Had my computer for over a month and ended up not doing what we discussed. The work they decided to do, formatted my hard drive, was done without approval and then they had a child make phone calls to me and handle pickup with no knowledge of what happened. I thought I was saving time and money here, ended up throwing both away.

Id definitely call on Compustation again. Id had an issue with my fussy Dell laptops power jack, a problem Id been told (and backed up by my own research) was a motherboard issue & that Id be better off giving up and buying a new computer. I called Compustation hoping for a better prognosis and was immediately impressed with the honesty of the rep I spoke with - he told me straight out that there was just a 50/50 chance they could fix it but that hed be willing to try if I wanted. While at times I did wish for more proactive updates - they did have my computer a bit longer than Id expected - in the end it was far more than worth the wait. In fact, after ordering the necessary part and failing in an initial attempt at resolving the issue, they took the extra effort to try again - despite having already told me their efforts were unsuccessful - and thus Im now typing this on a computer Id given up on. Theyre honest, their rates are great, & Id definitely recommend them.

My PC crashed in the morning, I called, dropped it off, and had it running by the end of the day; all for a very fair price. All I could ever need. Thanks!
