Unfortunately not the smartest operation.Came back to the location to return a car battery and was the only customer that came inside. I placed a heavy battery on the table and the employee took an incoming call and made me wait without any remarks.Then to the operational problem. Purchased a marine battery here and was told to bring back to court for some kind of refund. Took my time and bringing it back due to COVID-19, but when finally attempting to do so, I was told that I never purchased anything because my phone number did you register in the system. So possibly because of an operational issue on their end, I wasted my time to get an insignificant amount of money back.It’s a shame to see poor customer service as a customer.I do not recommend doing business with declining companies that don’t appreciate their customers and don’t honor their commitments.

My cars battery had a bad cell and needed replacement after almost 5 years. Thats understandable. I purchased a battery online for pickup at this location specifically because they advertise free battery installation as a service provided on their website. When I picked up my battery I was informed that they, in fact, do not provide installation services. Now Im stuck waiting for the refund back to my credit card for this purchase, and I still need to get a battery for my car to make sure that it wont die again at a travel stop on the Ohio turnpike. Fix the website and dont advertise services that you dont actually provide. Very disappointed.

Somewhat recent store takeover with limited space. Online ordering system seems flawed, or at least the way employees at this location execute these orders. Many options for auto parts stores in the area, no real reason to go here. Hours of operation are limited compared to competition. Awful customer service experience with employee Neil. Update: it’s been awhile but I stopped back in to pickup a part and the employees have that look of people that genuinely hate life. 1 star less, now down to 1 star overall and I will definitely avoid this location going forward.

I had a headlight out they were able to repair it and I was on my way in 20 minutes thrilled with my service. Professional and quick !!

Went to exchange a touch paint that I bought a week before and got wrong color. Lost receipt so would not take it back, even in pristine sealed package and was buying more parts. Took it to OReillys in Mundelein. They exchanged it even after telling them I bought it at Advance who would not exchange it. OReillys got the sale of 3 additional items. I have two cars and motorcycle more than 12 years so often need parts. Am switching to OReillys as my parts supplier.
