I would give less if I could. Please can you give me the option to speak to someone that actually speaks English properly, I am discussion intimate details and financial information and its very problematic when the persons english is so broken I cannot understand what on earth they are talking about.
This company has an F rating with BBB. they mistakenly paid my excise tax AFTER I bought out my lease. they said they would get an abatement from the town [refund]. i received my tax bill so I assumed they did. today I got a bill for personal tax of $68. Cant wait to get my call back, I pity the person that takes my call.
I traded in my vehicle over a month ago. VW Finance continues to claim they have not received a check. The dealership that sent the check provided me proof through FedEx tracking that the check was received by VW Finance. I am having to continue to make payments on two vehicles to prevent it from impacting my credit.
I cant believe the utter ineptitude. I traded in my leased vehicle back in January and continued to get late payment messages regarding my account. So I called and they told me not to worry, they have payment and itll be applied. Well now, two weeks later, they hit my CREDIT REPORT and called me from a collections department. Turns out, they MISAPPLIED the payment and now have to withdraw the derogatory report to my credit. INEPT.
NEVER EVER PURCHASE A VOLKSWAGEN. My vehicle was traded in months ago, and VW continues to send me emails stating that I am late on my monthly payments, when my vehicle was traded in in January!! VW admitted they have received but have not processed the check received from the dealership back in February, and it is now April, with the situation unresolved, and now reportable to credit bureau’s as it is past 29 days.Spare yourself the stress and possible credit destruction and absolutely never purchase a VW. ESPECIALLY if you’re going to trade it in for another vehicle that’s not a VW!
Hi, I’ve been trying to contact someone within VW credit about my account. I am a paying customer and you guys have over drafted my account for an extra payment. When i tried to cancel the payment the representative said i would be fine. Come to find out i am not fine. No one has helped me with this at all. I’m at the point where I’d like to speak to corporate and make a complaint. I even tried to speak to a supervisor they put me on hold for 10 minutes and came back to tell me the supervisor was in a meeting and they will not be able to return my call for 24 to 48 hrs
Predatory pre-turn-in lease inspection charging hundreds of dollars for using the roof rack anything you can see in a picture according to VW Credit. I have pictures showing the roof fins intact that you cant see anything and the 2 body shops I showed it to looked at me crazy when they looked at it. They both asked if Volkswagen realized I was returning a used car. This is a used suv with a roof rack with normal wear and tear and 12,000 miles under in mint condition.
I had lady help me with the paperwork for my car. Had no issues.
I see a lot of negative reviews, they are scary. However my own experience has been surprisingly good, maybe Im lucky. Call wait times are indeed long (30-45 min). Rep on the phone however are professional and easy to speak with (compared to DMV, tax department, AT&T, imagine those). They were also reasonably understanding when my payoff check arrives late due to COVID. No late fees or additional interest. One rep even offered to call me back to update me when they processed my payoff. They ACTUALLY did! I received a call back as promised. All in all I had really reasonable service that is up to standard. Nowadays there isnt much more that we dare asking for. Those who had bad experiences, I do feel your pain as I felt the same with other companies. I hope we are all treated better like what I happen to have experienced.
If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They are fueled by incompetence, disorganization, and complete lack of willingness to help their customers. Their employees do not know how to read simple documents, and they have several “polices” that are not written down. They actively do not support military civilians, therefore do not support our active duty military. It takes over an hour to get through to their customer service line, and representatives give conflicting responses. They will do not support their customers, DO NOT finance with this company.
I just wanted to share this horrible experience that until now im enduring from Volkswagen Credit. I bought a car from Bob Rohrman 3 yrs ago and i must admit at that time that my credit was bad so i had to get a co-signer but never the less they still slapped me with 16.2 percent APR. I didnt have a choice but to deal with it and suffer paying until now. The loan was upside down it means i owe more than the value of the car. I thought about trading the car but in my situation that VWC put me in will definitely more suicidal. It only means that i have to deal with this loan for long period of time before i can even do something and hopefully that the car is still running.Stay away from VW credit if u have other option theyre predator.Customer service was terrible as well. I will never do business with them again.
Starting paying in advance against my loan principal; and every time I paid; I had to wait long! This past November 2019 I made a payment of $10,000 towards the loan principal ; however, they closed the direct withdrawal from my checking account and the 10,000 was been applied for the monthly payments. Complained, and made them reverse the payments; and I agreed in paying from my checking account the November, December and January at once in order for them to apply the $10,000 to the principal loan. However, when I went to ask for a loan; I was told that I had late payments on the car loan. Called and was told I had to send a written letter for them to fix my credit report. So far they did not fix it! And another customer told me it happened to him too.Think twice if you are going to buy a car and finance thru them!!!
Horrible experience with a lease payoff when trading in my vehicle, they gave me my personal payoff for the vehicle and then added another $1,000 on to my payoff when they realized i was trading in the vehicle at a different dealership. Absolutely backwards logic on trying to retain a customer. Extremely disappointed that you all would financially penalize someone because youre bitter they bought a different, better, car.
I called for assistance and quickly was transferred by operator after I explained the reason for my call. Dan, who I was referred to did not want to hear me out and before I knew he hang up the phone.Very rude and unprofessional!Definitely will avoid dealing with VW financial in the future.
Latoya B is responsible for my review today.VW cares. It might not seem like it to many of these reviews, but they do try and for the last 10 years I have been consistently great customer service. One can only hope that VW continues to uphold these standards and even build upon them. Excellent work, I wish everyone working at VCI the best.
This is a call for a class action lawsuit against VW Credit to resolve fraudulent and grievous negligence in account management-----Ever experience irrational lease charges that cant be explained by the specialist on staff; ever taken blows to your credit; ever received countless emails and envelopes sent to your home even after apparently resolving a situation? These sharks have lied to most of America and its time to fight back. If you havent been able to get a response- start by filing a complaint through the Better Business Bureau first...
Worst customer service. They proved me they are indeed an international Fraudulent company. First of all, when you call, expect to wait in line for 45 minutes. Then, the representatives and supervisors are rude and ignorant. They keep reading the contract terms, and when they realized their fraud charges are not captured in the contract, they just say Sir, that is they way it is, It is not mentioned in your contract but that is what we do. Completely, illogical and a fraud. When I ask to speak with the supervisor, they simply say It is not possible. When I ask for a survey to provide my feedback, they say There is no survey!. When I ask their name, they would not provide their full name, so I would not be able to follow up on my feedback. VW is a fraud company, as much as I liked their cars, I would do everything I can to prevent my family, friends, co-workers and whoever buying and leasing a VW car.Corey, Yadira and Michelle were the rude, ignorant people who I spoke with.
What started as an earnest attempt to alert an automobile manufacturer to the location of an abandoned vehicle turned into an exercise in a complete lack of customer service awareness by Volkswagen. On March 21, 2019, a 2015 VW Tiguan parked itself in the garage of my house in San Francisco. It belonged to a former tenant.I unraveled myself from professional engagements and flew out to San Francisco. I pulled into the garage and noticed my former tenants car remained on the premises. It had been leased beginning in July of 2018. The five-year contract had at least 50 payments left on it, and I assumed VW had not received any of the monthlies since March of 2019. I searched the car and the house for a key. None could be found.I queried the former tenants husband who said something about, Speaking to me about the car. My efforts to retrieve the key before returning to New York were unsuccessful.A telephone campaign began. I found a copy of the top page of the lease and called VW Credit Services in early June.I was passed from one phone bank employee to another. I ended up with someone named Kim, who informed me the car needed to be towed out of the garage. Since my name did not appear on the lease, I could not give permission for a duplicate key. She was dismissive. The issue is my garage. It sits at the top of a steep driveway. No tow truck would ever make the grade. If it did it would be unable to pull the car from inside and take it safely down the hill.I accommodated VWs curiosity and had one of their technicians take his truck to my house. He confirmed that he would not be able to get up the driveway.I believed they would make a duplicate key, since that was the only way now to remove the car safely from the garage. I called them with the POV of the tow truck driver and photos of my driveway, they demurred. It would cost $600 to make the key.I OFFERED TO PAY THE $600.They refused. I gave them the three options available.1. Make the key and drive the car safely out of the garage.2. Have someone lojack the car out, coast it down my driveway without power steering or brakes. Damage likely.3. Involve the SFPD. They would lojack it as above AND add tow and impound fees. And heres the most confounding part of the odyssey. None of the account people, including the first person, Sheldon, seemed to care. Nor did a very diplomatic fellow named Ryan, who stated;I imagine that youll have to do what you need to do.Me? Are you kidding? Its not my $25,000 automobile in arrears. It belongs to VW. Did they not want their car back? And Ryan wasnt the only employee of VW Credit to take such an attitude. A few other comments:If you have to drive it down your driveway and it gets damaged, I guess thats what happens. Why would you do such a thing? The last comment came after I informed the service person that I would have to lojack the car out of my garage and hope it survived a downhill trip with only the emergency brake and Park as options to stop the car. My personal safety was not VWs concern either. The car was eventually driven down my driveway the day before I had to clear the garage for the moving company, and it involved me spending more of my time dealing with my tenants relatives to eventually recover a key.On July 12, 2019 I contacted VW Credit Services to find someone I could copy with all this correspondence. I was told, for the tenth time, that since I was not authorized on the account that there was no one I could speak with. I was also told that there was no place I could send correspondence, or copy on correspondence.Someone told me that leasing companies do this so they can collect insurance on lapsed vehicles; eventually recover the car; and lease it again. But never lose any money. Finally, my home is a source of revenue for me. I was not able to get service vehicles into my garage to begin work on returning my home to rentable/salable condition until I did get the car out of the garage. I lost three months of potential revenue.
Terrible customer service, they changed my monthly payments without my approval and refused to credit the over-charges. Very bad organization and treatment of loyal customers. VW is going downhill and fast.
I would actually be talking to a attorney and my States Attorney to file a breach of contract and forgery on behalf of VW. They changed my contract without my consent. I was able to obtain the contract they forge and my actual contract.
Rebecca was tremendously professional, courteous and helpful on our call today
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!I decided to take over the lease of a Volkswagen Beetle Convertible because I didnt want a long term commitment to a car. I began the process on August 29th when I paid a $350 transfer fee. At every step of the process, VW Credit made promises that it failed to keep regarding when the paperwork would be finalized in order for me to register the car in my name. I have incurred more than $600 in rental car fees waiting for VW Credit to put my name on a contract and send transfer papers to me to take to the DMV. Numerous telephone calls from both myself and the original leasee have had no effect on their ridiculously slow transfer process.I have incurred auto insurance costs (because I had to show them proof of insurance), paid the September lease payment, and had to rent a car for the last three weeks, and as of September 26th still have not received the paperwork to register the vehicle. It was promised to arrive on September 13th--nothing. Then September 20th--nothing. I was told I would receive a phone call on September 23rd telling me when the paperwork would arrive--nothing.Unfortunately, it is too late to back out as I am out of pocket payments to VW Credit of $750 as well as car rental expenses and my time and effort.
Always understanding, but their late fees are ridiculous.
A pain in the butt to talk to. One of the great customer services that run you in circles. They misinformed us along the process of a optaining the title of a car I was buying. This led to confusion and frustration on top of the added stress of buying a car. Avoid them at all costs.
Avoid this company like the plague
Wating for one hour on the line to speak with a representative, it’s embarrassing
Awesome place!
Terrible costumer service I see employees sending out snap chats of costumers accounts as well as many in office relationship.
HORRIBLE,HORIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!
