Very easy and satisfying buying experience. I came in with a specific car in mind, did some paperwork, and was gone in about 90 minutes. My salesperson was David, and he was very helpful and even talked to my bank and helped me get a lower interest rate. I’ve had the car for three weeks now and am loving it. Other than an odd smell that went away after a detailing, I’ve had no issues. Would definitely recommend.

I believe that all dealerships are ran by crooks.These guys were just that. They were so desperate to get a sale or a vehicle out of the lot that they told me what I wanted to hear (like a dealerships seem to do).My car that only lasted a year, was worth less than the work that eventually needed to be done on it.I couldnt afford it so I had to trade it in for something else. So disappointed.

Evan was a very friendly sales associate I will say that. I was disappointed that we drove from Michigan because we found a 2011 VW Routan at what seemed to be a great price. I asked if there was any damage and I was sent a couple of pics of small rust spots, nbd. Once we arrived the car was very nice inside as advertised but upon inspecting the car noticed a giant dent in the tailgate I was not told about. Also after leaving the tire low gauge was on, they said from setting. got it home and two days later the tire was flat, i find it hard to believe they did not know this. Also tried to lock the doors and it appeared that work, all except the drivers door which once again we were not told about. Also opened the tailgate and there was a large hole where i assume there is suppose to be a light that was missing. Please Understand that I know this is a used car but when I am driving 300 miles to get a car and ask you for all defects and you tell me its just 2 little rust spots, that does not seem honest. Look at the pics and tell me if you would have overlooked this.

I looked at two cars here recently over the course of a few weeks and ended up buying an old Honda Fit. I will first say I am not a big spender and what I was very impressed with was my salesman Evan Woods. Out of all the places I went to look at cars, his card was only one of few of the salesman’s cards that I kept after looking at the first car I ended up not purchasing. Evan treated me with respect and gave me plenty of time to look over both cars that I looked at. No pressure salesman and no hovering around me. The Used Car Superstore does do work to their cars before selling ($1,200 worth on my Fit) so I was confident I was buying a solid car. Used cars are pretty pricey during the pandemic, but I feel like I got a good deal. Overall great experience.

We visited the place May 18 cuz I really liked this Honda CRV 2011 but we were in a hurry that time cuz family was going somewhere came back May 21 and just looking at CRVs yet ends up buying Honda Accord Crosstour EX L 2010 4wd it looks pretty neat I like that it has navigation, leathered heated seats, very spacious. I fell in love with it so as my family so I end up getting it. David the sales consultant was pretty accomodating & so as the other staffs very friendly and it didnt take so long for us to get out & brought the car the same day. Highly recommended for first time buyers, like me, youll get good deals as well as those that are looking for great reliable, cool looking cars at a very reasonable prices depending on your budget. Really appreciate you guys thank you! Looking forward to driving to places with my first time ever purchased car.

We came here to look at a 2001 Honda Civic as a second car for my family so I could take our 2013 Honda Civic back to college with me. J.D Wilson was so accommodating, seeing as we had no appointment. He took us for a test drive, and even helped us save some money on the car. I would highly recommend getting set up here with J.D if you’re looking for a used car. The prices are good, and the experience even better.

We didnt purchase a vehicle only because we couldnt find anything that we loved. However, Tom Baier was extremely courteous and genuine in answering all our questions. At no point did we feel pressured into purchasing what I was somewhat interested in. BTW, that was the 3rd dealership we visited and by the far the most customer friendly.

I bought my 2008 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L 3 weeks ago here and I couldnt be more happier! I worked with J.D. and he was just great! He didnt push me to buy any car, just to BUY, he asked what car I would like and then told me what they have and gave me time and space to decide. That was very refreshing after being almost forced to buy any car in other dealerships I went to look before. Be very careful if you are looking to buy car from this shyster dealership. They tell you they perform a multi-point inspection on the vehicle and at least change the fluids. B.S., nope, best check for yourself. I am upset at myself for not checking more than the oil. Carfax report showed service, yet when I brought my vehicle to my mechanic, which I trust and have used for numerous years finds many fluids and basic maintenance issues with it. Do what you feel, but I can not ever recommend a purchase from this location especially when they tell you they service them before selling. My first google review and I understand the one star thing now. No Star for quality, big star for classic used car antics. First review because thats how majorly disappointed I am. My job is to help people, I feel I need to help you not buy from here.

Great place. I went in dubious, bit ashamed I feel into the generalization that used car places are sleezy, etc. Regardless, the Used Car Superstore was notably clean, professional, friendly and efficient. We ended up purchasing a minivan from them. While not their fault, we did have one issue with the vehicle but they had us come in soon after and they resolve the issue with no problem since (about 3 weeks ago.)

J. D. is the best! I found the car shopping experience I was looking for with him. He was very professional, personable and informative, yet he allowed me to take all the time I needed to make sure I saw the car thoroughly. He was willing to negotiate and was just easy-going to work with. There was absolutely no hassle and no stress involved. I was smiling my whole drive home in my new car. I’m not writing this to critique their business model. I went here to test drive a vehicle a few weeks ago.Prior to the test drive, I did my research on KBB. This exact vehicle with all the same options was marked up at this dealership well above a fair asking price. I wasn’t surprised at this however if that is how they do business, so be it. But I figured I would still test drive the vehicle anyway and see if I could negotiate a better price; doesn’t hurt to ask, right? And I wasn’t in a rush to buy so I was checking out all options.I called the dealership and was connected with Tom; we agreed on a meeting time for the test drive that day. Tom was friendly enough, the test drive went well, I liked the vehicle and I made an offer at the higher end of the fair asking price from KBB. Tom told me that price wasn’t doable (fair) but then stated it was against the law to mark up a vehicle price too much.WHAT?!?! I wasn’t born yesterday, I know this isn’t an actual law.I did not purchase any vehicle from them. There are many other dealerships to choose from and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I had been searching all around the midwest for the best deal on a Pilot, and was willing to drive from Michigan for one. Tom from TUCS was very responsive to my inquiry, texted pictures, and answered all my questions. We ended up finding a local option that was perfect, so we did not purchase here, but I can attest that the customer service was the best I received.

I had such a good experience here! I love my Honda Odyssey. My great sales consultant David hand picked several vehicles for me, knowing I had significant time and mobility limitations. I bought the second one I looked at, and know I got a very good deal. Theres a good selection of cars here. Purchased a 2005 Jaguar S-Type that had about 48000 miles and the car is beautiful and I could not have happier about owning it but now that a year has passed and about 6000 miles later I am spending over $2200.00 to have a leak coming from the timing compartment and will be spending even more for work on the front suspension. I contacted the dealer (about two months after purchase) when I noticed the oil on my garage floor and told them about the leak and a couple other problems and they just dismissed the opinions about the issues saying that (the person that sold me the car) he has a lot of experience and knowledge about cars and that it could not possible be more wrong and offered no help to me. I live several hours away from the dealer and work full time and take care of a loved so making a trip back to them would be almost impossible at the time not even knowing if they would or would not help in this situation. I have to mention that it is not just the oil leak and the from suspension that needs work but the fog light dont work and the lining on the sunroof has fallen off and the lining on the ceiling is falling, the pins on the cover for the motor are missing and about a couple of weeks having the car the headlights went out. Now just so it is clear, I do understand that when you own an exotic car you will end paying more in repair and maintenance for that vehicle and I accepted that because I LOVE this beautiful car but what I can not accept is that when you have only had a car for a few months you do not simple start having oil leaks and suspension problems with a car that only had about 48000 and you have only put a hand full of miles shortly after you take it home. I do take responsibility for the fact that I did not take it to another garage to have it checked out because this was one of those times that I really felt that I could trust what I had been told and that I did drive the car and noticed no issues and I am sure most other people fall into the same category and would have trusted what they are told. I do think I should not have been dismissed when I spoke to them about the issues and never offered any help at all. What I can do now is to write this review and hope that anyone who may consider buying a car or truck that you should ask lots of questions and take the car to another garage to have it looked at and not make the same mistake that I made on this purchase.

We were treated with respect and dignity. While we were waiting for the paperwork to be finished, I wondered over to there car repair area, and the service manager was amazing to! I had a very pleasant experience with The Used Car Superstore of Lisle and salesman David Manzanares. I strongly suggest you just ask for David when going to look for a car there. He was polite, friendly, and professional. He was very patient with me as I looked over vehicles in detail, and took multiple test drives. I felt he was being honest and transparent in answering my questions regarding the vehicles I was looking at. He really went above and beyond in assisting me, and it seemed as if he was happy to do so. The purchase process was quick and smooth, as well as the process of negotiating and finalizing my trade in vehicle.As for the dealership, I felt their prices were reasonable, and they are willing to work with their customers. I also like that they have a service department on site.

My fiancée recently purchased her 2001 Honda CRV here. She is loving the car and we were happy to have made the purchase. We found the Used Car Superstore not by recommendation, but just that it happened to have what we were looking for. Unfortunately, as it seems with most dealership transactions I have encountered, there is not much room for price negotiation and that was no different at the Used Car Superstore with our purchase. JD was the one of few people we talked to during our car search who called me back when I first inquired about a vehicle; a lot of other salesmen and saleswomen didnt even have the decency to do that. In a way, that pretty much gave us reason enough to come to the dealership since JD offered the respect of holding the car for us and for keeping open a line of communication about our desire to purchase the car. I would certainly consider purchasing from The Used Car Superstore again if they happened to have a specific vehicle that was well taken care of.

I would not recommend anyone to buy a car at this lot. I bought a 2008 Toyota Highlander here but in less than a year it has broken down 4 times (major issues), breaks started making strange loud noise just 5 months after purchasing, 3 weeks later there was a loud noise coming from the serpentine belt, a moth Later the AC stopped cooling, problems after problems in just 9 months after buying the car. So far i have spent Close to $2000 fixing serious problems.. i regret my decision. Next time it breaks, I will just dump it in a junk yard. This dealership ruined me.

After seeing a car I liked on CarGuru, a car located at The Used Car Superstore, I heard from David immediately via email, welcoming as the contact. I went a few days later, met Dave, took a test drive. Beautiful car! Then began the process. Despite the price already being below average for type of care, without me even asking, David dropped the price $500, then immediately processed the loan. First bank interest was at bit high for me, so he ran another, and got it down. The payments were very reasonable, and he is such a nice guy. I couldnt have asked for a fairer or more efficient experience.

Beware of this dealership and double check the car fax report. Bought a 2007 Honda Accord a few months back. Was told it was a great car. (Mind you it is a used car so some things are understandable) was showed a bogus carfax report. Went to sell it and found out it had been in accidents and was a salvage/rebuilt car. Lost all value in it. Not happy that i was not told, i have 3 young kids and never would have bought a salvage car. Was also told I would get a call back first thing monday morning and still no call. All in all I would never recommend this dealership to anyone in the future. Also this was the second car i bought from them. I expected better from them. It is also illinois law that a dealership disclose this information and it be in the contract NOT in small print.

Well, its been about a month since Ive tried to get a resolution and failed, so here we go.In the last days of February we came up from St. Louis and purchased a 2010 Element from this location. We tried to purchase it in mid-February, but the business refused to take a bank guarantee from USAA and ran our credit despite us making clear that we did not want our credit run. This delayed our purchase two weeks.By the evening of the Saturday we received the car, we noted there was no tailpipe on the Element. By the day after, we also noted that the hood wobbles loose despite being fully locked. On the following Monday after taking receipt of the car and returning to St. Louis we were able to get it into our mechanic to have it inspected, only to find that in order to make it legal in the state of Missouri it would require all the bushings and mountings for the rear differential to be replaced, as well as the swaybar bushings on the front. Obviously, it still needs a tailpipe.Im currently $1400 and counting in repairs in order to get it legal enough to get plates in the state of Missouri. I contacted Chet after I received the bill (and when I was going to get the title paperwork) only to have him say hed talk to the service department but then I received no further response.I expected a lot more from this dealership but to find they were so blind as to miss a missing tailpipe as well as all the bushings failing is disappointing as hell. In the end I guess Ill need to hire a mechanic to come with me when I drive five hours to buy a particular car.Buyer beware, indeed.

I thought I was buying a great truck. They said it had been completely gone through and everything was in good working and safe order. 2 months in to owning it now and I have a gas leak from a hose they replaced but didnt put on correctly. The driver side wheel bearing is completely shot. Both tie rods are about to snap. Wheels have so much play it looks like the lugs havent been tightened. o2 sensors have now gone out but I will challenge that and only that up to uncheck able wear and tear. Thanks to a 500 mile warranty I guess their hands are clean. Very disappointed in this place to say the least.

A used car is exactly that, its used. Youre never going to get the same reliability as you would from a new car but the prices are way better when theyre used. I got to say this place seems to go out of its way to make sure the cars they sell are at least decent cars. Its not a buy here pay here kind of place, its more like a real dealership that just happens to only sell used cars. If Im not mistaken I think theyre actually a part of Honda of Lisle and Volvo of Lisle which is probably where they get a lot of their cars from. Theyre vehicles that people have traded in on a new Honda or a new Volvo. There might even be another new car dealer that is part of the whole group that they get their used cars from also. Again used cars are used, but it seems like they at least go through them and make sure they have decent Tires and Brakes and all that kind of stuff so that when you buy it your getting something that will do you good for a while. If they sell them as is where they havent done anything to them it seems like they keep the price pretty reasonable in those cases. That way it allows them to have everything from cars that cost $1,000 to $2,000 all the way up to some pretty nice BMWs and Mercedes that they keep on the lot . Give them a shot if youre in the market for something used. I know every time I drive by there it seems like theyve got a couple hundred vehicles on their lot so theres plenty to choose from. The sales people seem decent and I know they have a lot of financing options even though as I said they are not buy here pay here. You could do a lot worse at a lot of those other little used car lots. Give them a try, they might have just what you need at a price you can afford so why not go look around and see. Ive known a couple people over the years that have bought a vehicle from them and it seems like they turned out to be decent vehicles with a decent deal and it was a decent experience for them as well. Ymmv but my history with them makes me think that it should be a good experience for you too.

It has now been over 2 years since I bought our 2006 Honda Odyssey here. At the time we were delighted with our experience and we are even more so now. I hope someone will be helped by reading this and recognize how valuable this place is.We have put over 30000 miles on our Honda Odyssey now. It has been extremely reliable, and for all service we have done, the technicians at this place especially Matt are a Godsend in their honesty and pricing. We have only had to do routine maintenance mostly. Both sliding doors have needed a little work but cost was well under $300. Nothing else at all; such a reliable car!We couldnt be happier with our purchase and this place. We take both our cars here for repairs. It is obvious after 2+ years these guys are the real deal.

I have purchased 4 vehicles now. Salesman Brad is great. Just bought a Lexus which had major engine problems. I brought the vehicle back to him. After a through inspection they realized the vehicle need a new engine. The manager and Brad replaced the new engine for me at zone cost!! So cool. One note though. The last thing a person wants to do is have a car serviced after they buy a vehicle. So make sure the tires and brakes are good. That would be the only part that they would get a C on. Other wise the best used car dealship i have ever had. And i have been to so many..

Over a year ago I bought my ‘14 Subaru Forester from here and I have been happy with the car ever since! I had found this competitive price after scanning all over a 25 miles radius and that was what brought me in the door. David helped us with our questions and negotiation and handled everything professionally. We had a couple things come up before we even had our test drive (dead battery) that had made us very concerned about potential hidden faults in the vehicle. They replaced the battery for us at no extra cost and assured us that if we had anything come up in the following weeks to bring it back for no extra cost. Now over a year later we love this car and haven’t had anything to pay for but regular maintenance on the car.

After headaches and games with other dealerships, the Superstore worked with me to find the perfect car for school at a great price. If I could give negative numbers I would. Filed a complaint with the BBB. Bought a Mazda 5 on January 9th with minor cosmetic issues but solid mechanical, electrical and computer systems because it had been through their service department and thoroughly inspected. After 3 days and 278 miles into ownership the transmission light came on because the Transmission Control Module went out, well within the 15 day/500 mile warranty...$950.74 later no response from my salesman (Jordan S) or his sales manager or business manager. I wish this had gone better and would have much rather had a great experience and given six out of five stars.

Very good prices on cars and the salesman are very knowledgeable. Ive driven 8,000 miles on a Honda I bought from them within 7 months, and Ive only had to replace the rear struts, an oil change, and grease the ball joints. Just standard maintenance.

I got a S80 from them about 3 years ago, still happy, coming back for another car. Dont expect a new car at a used car price and you will be happy. This store has many good one owner cars that came from other stores vs the auction. Cars from the auction is what I prefer to avoid.

It was a very pleasant experience last week during my purchase at this store. After a two week search in a 60 mile radius for a used car, I realized that what Im looking for is only a couple of miles away from me. Steve got both the cars warmed up before I got there so that I can take a comfortable look at them, answered all my questions and was very quick in closing the deal. There were NO last minute hidden charges on the sale receipt and no suprises. I would strongly recommend this store for anyone who is hunting for a used car.

They are crooks. Asking 5250 for a 2004 Honda pilot with no heat and almost 150000 miles. This used to be a decent place to get a decent car for not alot. Now they just want to take your money. Thank God Im a mechanic or I would have bought a lemon they claimed was in great condition.

Chet worked with me over the phone...even when he was in the hospital havin surgery..I learned that later. He allowed me.to make a deposit to secure the car I wanted cause I live about 4 hours away. I rode an Amtrak train there and Chet was so wonderful to pick me up at the station so I didnt have to take a taxi. He went over the car with me, realized my time was important and had paperwork ready. I had worked 12 hour shift the night before and had to work that night. He made the process very easy. I love my car and the experience I had acquiring it. If you want ok service go anywhere..talk to anyone. If you want ABOVE and BEYOND...TALK WITH CHET!!!

Bought a car from J.D. I am on a tight budget and needed a car that wont need repairs. He showed me some of their value cars that they guarantee wont break down and would fit my $4000 budget. Its been some time now and the car hasnt been back and thats what i needed. The car is not cosmetically perfect, but it runs great and has been very dependable. Started off as a good experience but now Im starting to have a change of heart. We had a pre-approval and trade-in to offer but were told that the trade-in wouldnt make much of a difference. We decided to keep the trade-in and the salesman supposedly got us approved for a deal without it. After many are you sure there wont be any issues from my husband, the salesman assured us that there wouldnt be. We agreed on the deal, signed the paperwork, put down what was asked of us, and took our car. 15 days later we get a call saying that the deal didnt go through and we either had to pay more for the downpayment or return the car. By this time weve given the trade-in away and are now inconvenienced with the fact that The Used Car Superstore is switching up the deal that THEY OFFERED US. Furthermore, instead of giving us a number that would work for the additional downpayment they were now requesting, they asked us for a number which tells me that they couldve made the deal work without it by chalking up what they lost because of their own mistake. Its not fair or a good business practice to interrupt peoples lives and back out of deals that you structured and offer to customers. Used Car Superstore, NEVER AGAIN.

I recently bought an used Honda Odyssey from them. After test driving a few of them, I’ve decided on a 2002. Mainly because it has least amount of rattles. I’m using it as a work truck, so I cared about the mechanics more than cosmetics. Tom Baier from the store helped us out many times on yet drives and questions. The car had issues before we bought it. They had them fixed the original issue before we took delivery. And a few days later check engine light came on, and they took it and fixed it again. Keep in mind I knew the car would have issues and bought as is. Not only they want to make sure the car was safe to drive but also fixed other issues for me. Not all cars have issues, but I appreciate that Tom and the dealer helped us out.

I needed a car that day since mine died. I was greeted instantly by, told him my situation, and he had the perfect car for me. After driving it, i told him i wanted it, and he had me in the office taking care of the paper work right away. I had my kids with me and he have them juice and snacks and kept them happy while we took care of everything. Between he and the manager Charlie, everything went smoothly and i was driving out with my car a couple hours after having pulled in. Best car buying experience Ive ever had. Thanks!

Brad helped my husband and I find an awesome car. 2010 Honda Accord about 114,000 on it and still in wonderful shape! We had been to about 5-6 other used car places in the area and had either weird, uncomfortable, or a “we know you’re lying about this car just to make some $$$” kind of salesmen...lol (customers can tell if someone is being phony or not, or at least most of the time). Brad was by far the most authentic, friendly, and overall kind person that we encountered. Also, he actually knew about cars, which the last place we went to before “Used Car Superstore”, the salesmen had us test drive a car that had a strange smokey odor and shuddering of the car when revving up the engine...The salesmen said “whatever it is, trust me, it’s okay, that’s normal” ....turns out they took the car off the market the next day (not kidding).So walking into “Used Car Superstore” was like a light at the end of the tunnel. The car we bought is in beautoful shape and running great! Brad was willing to go above and beyond to help us feel confident and safe before purchasing the car.If you want a great deal, great car, and great experience, GO HERE, and ask for Brad!!God bless!! :)

This place is really nice. I went in not really having a car in mind, just a price range, and they were very helpful in helping me. Mike Korallus, i think the store manager, talked to me for a few minutes to get an understanding of what I was looking for, before introducing me to Flint Turner. Flint was super patient. As someone who doesnt know a whole lot about cars, I really appreciate the time he took to explain the benefits and downsides to each car.

I bought a 2008 Buick Lucerne and had some problems with it, which made me a little pessimistic because of past dealings Ive had with other used car dealerships, but not this one (The Used Car Superstore ), they were friendly and courteous and they honored the implied warranty they gave me by fixing all the problems I had with my car at no additional cost to me ( over $2000 worth of work, that alone says a lot about this dealership ). Would i recommend others to the Used Car Superstore? Very pushy & rude saleswoman. Talks over you and doesnt LISTEN. If I say I want an automatic, stop showing me manuals. If I say Im just browsing, dont ask me Im buying today. And if you say you WONT call my number, dont call me! So frustrating. This place just gave me a bad vibe. Ended up going elsewhere.
