Upon entry to the store there was no greeting. Instead, I received strange looks. A woman walked over and asked Yes? as if I had disturbed her. I gave her the order name and the response was What else? I wouldve ordered something else if it wasnt for her demeanor. I handed the cashier my card. When she finished the transaction, she set my card on the counter and pointed to it. It angered me to have had those events happen in a somewhat familiar place! As much as Ive been in there to pick up orders, Ive never been treated like that. They will never have to worry about our business again. Ill find a black owned business to support instead.

My daughter and I ate here for lunch and loved it. I had the PLT, pancetta lettuce and tomato. She had the pancetta breakfast sandwich. I also had a white chocolate ice coffee that was delicious. Today was a beautiful and breezy. We enjoyed sitting outside on their patio area watching people walk past and eating lunch. The location is perfect and the woman who helped us was nice.Also, it’s right next to Loblolly. You can’t get much better than that.

Nothing special outside of LR. Got a rye sourdough and it looked impressive but was soft on flavor.

I have eaten at Boulevard Bread for several years and always been very happy with the food and awesome service. This is the third time I’ve gotten a salad, sandwich and cookies from the Main St place. The sandwich and cookies were awesome as usual. The salad though is just not up to par for them. I didn’t say anything the first two times but this time I have to speak up. I got the chopped salad. There are literally 3 tiny pieces of avocado that are really brown, 5 slices are of onion, 3 pieces of salami, the blue cheese I had to hunt for, and the salad is brown. I actually took the salad apart to take a pic but it doesn’t allow me to post. This salad and the others are not to Boulevards standards by far.

Best bread your going to find anywhere. I had the breakfast sandwich on my last visit here and while the sandwich as a whole was fantastic, the bread as always is the superstar.

Decent salads and sandwiches, a bit over priced for what you get. The cookies and desserts are what they are really known for here. Also you are responsible for grabbing your food from the counter and bussing your own table. Pro tip - the door pulls forward to exit.

Clean store, friendly employees but a little pricey.

This is a great place for a morning cup of coffee and and a light breakfast. The parking is easy here. The seating is comfortable unlike its nearby competitor.

Just ok, tasty but cold quiche

A hidden gem of a Boulevard, they don’t play second fiddle to their Heights-based sibling. You can always drop in here for daily goods and excellently crafted meals.

I am obsessed with their soup year round. And the Italian chopped salad, oh my god. The sourdough, don’t get me started.

Always great breads, cookies, sandwich choices. Friendly staff but looked a little lonely with empty place. Keep visiting and buying when out for walks in SOMA. Help keep our wonderful businesses open during this trying time.

Traditional pastrami with kraut was out of this world. Grilled cheese with Cheddar was a big hit with my son. Cherry orange pound cake was delightful!

Staff was nice and the almond croissant was exceptional. Coffee was a little tepid but that’s my only complaint, albeit a small one. Highly recommend this place

Always excellent food and breads to take home. Great place to have quality breakfasts and lunches.

The bakery products are as good as any i have had. It could be a relaxing place but they play the music SO loud that it is difficult to carry on a conversation. The walls are hard and it echoes, which makes it worse.

Everything is always good. I am partial to the morning pastries.....but u better get there fast...which they are gone....they are gone
