Would like to give no stars and some choice words but will not go down that path. Stay away! Granted the vehicle we went to look at was a used vehicle that was not Toyota brand but it was still on their lot. I would expect a dealership to be knowledgeable of their inventory even if it was not their brand.I asked a general question about the vehicle and the sales person responded with Ask your husband. That was within the first 5 minutes of interacting with him.
Very expensive maintenance, their website had a coupon saying free check engine light inspection service, but they came and said that they did a diagnostic and found its a gas cap issue and charged me $195 for diagnostics and $30 for gas cap, even after informing them in first place that it is a gas cap issue, and told me that until I approve they wont charge me any amount, instead they came and told me that I would I have to pay the amount, Should have gone to the local mechanic shop and had paid lesser amount. Would not recommend and will never bring car here for any kind of maintenance.
Beware of low value premium service. My kid took his car in for recall service and was pressured into their premium service which has some extras over the usual oil and filter change such as adding a bunch of additives to the fluids none of which are recommended by the manufacture. This $1K service doesnt include tire balancing or wiper replacement which was badly needed. Experience like this makes Toyota lose a customer for life.
I had a cover come off on my right side mirror. I asked the technician to reinstalled the cover. The service people never tried and wanted me to get an entire side mirror assembly at the cost of $500 plus. I went home and reinstalled the cover myself. No problem. I think that this is a typical behavior of these service centers to bleed as much money that they can get. Now, I wonder if the maintenance I paid thru the years was actually done. This will be my last visit to this dealership. Please be care about service you require.
First time here at this location and I was extremely impressed. Staff was professional and did everything they can to get me in my brand new 2021 Camry. Thank so much Manuel and Yama for making this happen. Without a doubt 5 stars service.
I bought my 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road from Livermore Toyota over the weekend and was able to negotiate a fair price for it. Lei, Andy, and team made the buying experience easy and enjoyable. They were able to answer all of my questions. I would definitely come back again.
I bought a vehicle here yesterday (5/22) because they were the only dealer in the entire Bay Area that had the exact color and trim I was looking for. Otherwise I would avoid this dealership at all costs. It was the worst sales experience I have ever had. I made it very clear from the beginning which vehicle I wanted, that I had visited other dealerships, had looked at other vehicles, and knew my price. The sales manager went back and forth to his boss (or I have no idea where) for about 90 minutes repeatedly bringing me a number that was much higher than I had told them I was willing to spend. He kept asking me if he could get my number would I write a check, and I kept saying yes, and he kept coming back with NOT MY NUMBER. Then the managers boss came out and I said I was finished and I needed the key to my old car back so I could get to work. I was out of time (and I had told them repeatedly when I needed to leave to get to work and they wouldnt stop wasting my time.). If they had just said no, we cant get to your number I would have left. I had my second choice vehicle waiting at another much more friendly dealer. It wasnt until I was literally walking out the door that they said yes to my number. And then I had to rush through the paperwork so I could get to work on time. All in all, they wasted three hours of my time with whatever delay strategy they were trying out. It didnt work. Sure they made the sale and I got my car, but I wont ever go back there and would urge anyone considering Livermore Toyota to go literally anywhere else.

Lied to us about their return policy, said over the phone that a used car could be returned within 48 hours, wasted an entire morning driving over, no such policy exists. Extremely shady.

First time here, and wont be the last. Since it is a 15-20 min walk from work it was perfect. Drop off before work was easy and quick. Service was awesome, even got a recall completed that I was waiting for.

Buyers stay away: I was sold a brand new vehicle that ended up being a lemon. This happens in any manufacturing process. What the dealership did to me has been truly unbelievable since this was discovered. They accepted that the new vehicle has unresolvable (3 software or electronics issue) issues and literally referred to it as a lemon. Then, they added the buy-back cost of it to a new vehicle they replaced the lemon with. Imagine you buy a par of Nike shoes for $100 and it turns out to be damaged a week later. You go back to the Nike store and they accept it has had manufacturing issues. They take them back and sell you a $150 pair for $200 to avoid own losses! Charlatans! I have tried every avenue and they do not return calls or emails. STAY AWAY from dishonest people.
Needed Service help Saturday afternoon, towed our car to Livermore Toyota and they solved the problem and we drove out problem solved. A bit more expensive than we thought, BUT the service department saved us! All good.

I have been going to the Livermore Toyota dealership for several year now. They do a great job and in a timely matter. What I really like is they will point out things that need attending but they do not pressure you into doing that job right now. Or lie to you to make an extra buck off of you.I also like the friendly email reminders of service that might be coming up for your car. Again, no pressure, just a reminder.
The Service Department did a great job in assisting me in getting my Highlander serviced. Dan was super helpful in answering all my questions and explaining what work needed to be done. Great Staff and Friendly Service!
I asked a quote online (Roadster inquiry) to trade in my 2011 Prius for a new Prius Prime and got in touch with Lei. She was nice and we finalized the price to be MSRP + Destination fee + tax. After all the credit checks, we started to close the deal. The breaking point was they tried to convince me that my 2011 Prius only worth $2000. I have full coverage for my Prius and only did all the maintenance on Toyota dealership, made all the recommended fixes and its gas mileage is still around 46mpg. I refused to trade in my car in such a low price. They asked me to sell the 2011 Prius by myself and I agreed. After Lei went back to talk with her manager, she came back and told me that she could not sold me the car unless I paid $5000 markup. I have no problem with Lei. She is a smart black girl. I believe she made up a new nickname Lei because my name looks Chinese in online quotes. Its management believe they dont have to honor an oval commitment. How much can you trust them? I decided that Subaru could be a much better choice, not only from resell value point of view...
They are bad, just to sell a car their sales (Junior Torres) will offer you a deal so that you dont leave, and when you are doing final paperwork with their finance director (Ace) will reveal that the real deal is different. Then the sales guy will come back to tell that a big mistake was done and leave without any further followup, followed by another guy into the room to tell you (Andy/finance) that the car can only be sold at a higher price - take it or leave it ! In my case they even had completed the signing of transfer documents of new car to me and trade-in of my old-car to Ace (finance director), only after a lot of heated debate Ace agreed to give me a copy of the documents with void written on it. This all took away 6 hours of my time, and Ill not recommend this team or dealership to anyone.

You can tell they enjoy their job.Drove from Milpitas to get a synthetic oil change, alignment, and check engine light checked for $150!They let me wait in my car until it was ready to be serviced rather than sit in the lobby with a mask on.I actually enjoyed waiting outside watching everyone work for a few hours. Called them the day before and they wouldn’t let me schedule an oil change because it was under my dad‘s name, fine. Had my dad schedule an oil change because they wouldn’t let me do it. Show up 10 minutes early they take my keys and I hear nothing for nearly 2 hours so I go ask someone what happened and they tell me I should’ve went to them and gave them this paper…. Probably should’ve told me that two hours ago. Don’t ever go here I had at least four hours of my time wasted with these guys
Very poor experience with this dealership. Person who spoke over phone for the price and fixed the appointment, left before time. Other guys started quoting 50% of 9k markup price, which is 4.5k over MSRP. Ridiculous. I wasted my time visiting there. My advice would be to ask for quote before visiting there. Verbal promise over phone counts for nothing. They will not honor it.
I visited Livermore Toyota today with my mother so we can graduate from a leasing agreement to purchase her vehicle which she loves. Even before we entered the facility, we received a warm welcome from Harun who notified us he can get us situated. Our experience at this location was phenomenal -- we spent only 90 minutes at the facility and received excellent customer service from Harun. He offered us water, made great conversation, and never once did we ever feel like we were being sold anything. What we received today was honest assistance from a stellar employee.Our financing was conducted in a professional and friendly manner by Ace who went above and beyond to ensure my mother has an interest rate thats suitable for her income (preschool teachers dont make much). Aside from being courteous, Ace did everything he could to explain the process to us and when we left, we felt confident in choosing the right financing selection. I highly recommend this location!

Quick turn on required service as well as completing work for a factory recall. No complaints about service. Only downside is all the reminders for service from their call center. These sometimes come after service has already been completed or scheduled.

They were hesitant to talk until I started talking about what I did for a living (attitude completely changed and was obvious)Extremely pushy onto selling a car. I informed them I was shopping around and wanted to see more options and they wouldnt get the hint/respect my decision to not get the first car i saw especially with a high mark up.They will go as far as make you feel bad for being financially responsible and call you a tire kicker and laugh when I kept saying im going to hold off to see what else is out there.I understand they need to sell cars, thats their job, but judging people and laughing at what they are saying isnt professional and marked this dealership very predatory.
Jericho took great care of us. He made sure we felt comfortable with the overall negotiated deal, and we didnt feel pressured at all. We were given a more than fair trade in value for our car, and left with what we want. We have 2 more cars to trade... Well definitely go back to him when were ready!
What a sleazy dealership. Got a quote from Livermore Toyota that was a True Car quote. The quote was good from 5-24 to 5-29. I called on the 29th and asked if my quote was still good. They said yes so I drove from Modesto to Livermore and spent 3 hours going over the vehicle. I asked at least 5 times if the quotes was good. Oh yes they said. When the credit guy comes in he starts to hem and haw so I asked if they were honoring the quote and they said no. Livermore Toyota is connected to Roseville Toyota and the John L Sullivan Auto Group so watch out. If it is okay for one dealership them it must be good for all of his dealerships.
Over all the experience at Toyota was great! My sales Consultant Asrar was on it to find the car that I wanted within hours and was able to have it delivered to the dealership! Lastly the Finance Manger was incredible at explaining things and very helpful on fixing an issue of miscommunication. Special touch Asrar delivered my new car to my home later that day! Highly recommend using him!!

Toyota even covered a repair on my newly purchased used Tacoma (purchased at a different Toyota dealership) even though I was one month out of warranty! And they even washed my truck! You have earned a lifetime friend and customer!

I made sure the car and trim I wanted was available and made an appointment one week in advance. On the day of the appointment, there were three phone calls between me and the dealer before coming. After one hour long drive, when we arrived they told us the car was not available. The fact was they didn’t have any inventory. Then they send us off to three salesmen trying to get us to buy a different cars. There is absolutely no business integrity or shame with these people. I did not feel like I was treated as a person. I was tricked to come in, wasting my weekend plan. Don’t waste your time here.

Sorry folks, I could not find 0 stars, but that is what this hell hole of a dealership gets. I call them up and make an appointment with a particular gentleman (which he was not) and I arrive promptly to see the car. 1. The person I made an appointment with wasnt there (lie number 1), 2. The car which I had discussed with said person was also not there (lie number 2), 3. The price advertised suddenly became a suggested price and a new price (an extra 20000 USD added to the original price) was introduced. The employee proceeded to look for the previously discussed car and spent 1.5 hours of my time while he searched. Before a discussion or deal could be discussed these gentleman (which they were not) proceeded to request my social security number without yet having found the car. All in all it was a 2 hour waste of time and I discovered that Toyota dealership in Livermore is infested with lying and deceitful employees. I recommend a different store.

Sales reps were friendly, but the company performs a really shady business practice of telling you a price over the phone, no matter how many times you confirm with them, and then completely disregarding that price when they do the negotiations. It took HOURS of back and forth just to get close to what they originally said over the phone, and even then they never fully got there. I probably should’ve never told them I was driving over an hour to get there and they probably wouldn’t have had such an incentive to lie.Just a horrible waste of time and energy and not the way I would expect a reputable business to be run. I would never recommend this place.
I needed a simple oil change. Made an appointment at Livermore Toyota. Dan not only helped with it but took care of recent recall related repair right away. Had to leave car for 1 day but they provided rental to solve my ride back home problem. Great service!

Jerico and Jericho Jr. are so amazing! Second trip to them and on both trips we bought two cars.. Ive bought many cars and I know its a business, but no matter what they never make us feel like just another pay day.. My 22 year old daughter brought in her 04 Corolla for an airbag recall. We dropped it off the night before and slipped the key in the night slot. Service was good, but following her home I noticed her front left tire was very low...almost flat. She made it home where we quickly spotted a nail in the tire. The fact that car was in for a safety service and noone noticeda low tire...I would have loved for them to call and say they spotted it andwould fix the tire. Nope...zero foxes given. I am sure every dealership is sick of airbag recalls, but do a safety check on every car leaving the dealership! That is money lost on any service business! Went to Americas Tires and got great service there!

Our sales rep was phenomenal but I feel really bad for him because his manager is trying to run a very shady business. Called in and was informed that the car I was looking for was available at msrp. Verified the price before I drove all the way there. When I arrive I’m told every car on the lot has a 10 k markup and that all dealerships are doing so. Told the rep I would not pay a markup but was still encouraged to test drive and see the numbers. Then we were brought a paper w a 10 k markup and about 8k in added accessories that I never asked for. I used to work in sales and this is messed up to see a dealership run this way.

Fantastic excellent service team!!! Our older model Prius broke down going up the Altamont Pass at 105 degrees, and we were so lucky to see the Livermore Toyota sign. They took care of us, even though 5 mins to closing time. The mechanic checked it and it was a broken belt and needed to be replaced. Brianna was going out the door at the end of the day but came back in to give us a rental car so we could drive home that night. The next morning our car was fixed with no engine damage. Thank you so much Mingo, Mike and Brianna!!

While the time spent at Toyota for a vehicle that hadnt arrived yet felt excessive. Westley of the sales team went above and beyond to ensure I had the vehicle I wanted. It took a month to get our vehicle shipped to the U.S. from the factory, but Westley kept in contact the whole way giving updates and details for every change. He even drove the vehicle to the dealership himself to speed things up. Definitely a positive influence for the sales team. Now we get to roll around town in a 4runner venture edition like I wanted, dream car.
They add a fee for something that they have installed in the car, they cant remove from the car, but the fee is not included in the final price of the car. You pay it on top. Its just a scam to make you pay $2,000 on top of the price of the car that you were already hesitating.AVOID a manager called Junior. Hes insulting.Ask for TAJ salesperson. Very friendly!
We received couple calls from Assistant Sales Manager Rudy Ballesteros and Sales Manager Adam Ballesteros who wanted to ensure we are satisfied with our car and making sure we leave good review, however we encountered an issue with our vehicle and all of a sudden these guys are nowhere to be found. They promised to reimburse us for rental car that we needed while our car was in service and until now we havent heard or received anything from them.Really bad customer service. They dont answer calls. When they call and I answer the person is usually being rude and not able to answer simple question being asked.When theres issue all upper management is hiding. Isnt that right Adam, Rudy, Wayne? Maybe you should consider changing carrier if you cannot deal with customers.
They lied about the agreed price, lied about the interest rates, and lied about what we were signing. They tried sliding an interest rate that was 3% higher than originally stated by us and “helped” us by making it only 1% higher. They claimed it was a “miscommunication”, but what they said didn’t add up. We kept waiting to see the price, and we thought the finance manager was being honest when walking us through what we were signing, but he entirely skipped over the fact that we were signing for a purchase price that was $2000 higher than we agreed upon! They held us there for almost 6 hours and we were extremely frustrated after finding out they lied about what we were signing! If they are taking a long time, WALK OUT THE DOOR! It’s a tactic to make you want to get out of there faster and not read through the terms. We only caught the interest rate, and after Yama realized that, he misled us about what we were signing by only showing the cover sheet of what we were signing. DIRTY DEALERSHIP, DIRTY PEOPLE! DO NOT COME HERE.Do not trust Jesus Guzman, Junior Delatorre, and Yama Sharifi. The age old adage about car salesmen lives onEDIT: Toyota Livermore, if you actually cared you wouldn’t have uninstalled LoJack while we were signing the papers, you wouldn’t have hidden the price from us, and you would return our calls and give us the money back to cover the difference between the promised price. But you won’t because you’re disgusting people

I just cant say enough good things about these people. I live in Martinez and will not take my car anywhere else except Livermore Toyota. They have gone way above and beyond what I know any other dealership would do. Their helpfulness, integrity and honesty is beyond anything Ive ever experienced in a dealership. When setting out to purchase a new car I decided I would not buy from any dealership that did not have my best interests in mind. I went to every dealership and walked out very disappointed until going here. Martinez to Vasco road is quite a drive but well worth it!!! Thank you again for all youve done!

Moved to east bay from south and this dealership service officers are awesome in not only recommending right services but also correcting past missed services.Very transparent and upfront and extremely efficient in servicing. Redeemed my 30k overdue services which were not even offered earlier.Jacob is exceptional and I hope this dealership keeps offering services with this quality amidst the pandemic to the hundreds of owners.Waiting area outside is fabulous too, which I used to soak in the warm sun while the services were performed. The hand sanitizers smelled great as well 😀

So my old car is going out. One of those moments where the repairs = the cars value. Went car shopping while they were checking out the old car. Omar is awesome, kind and transparent. They do what they can for you and service repairs is awesome. I had to back down on buying a car I want because my dad and brother didn’t want me rushing into it when I was tired and stressed with being with out car because the steering is going out. I plan on coming back and buying with Omar with in the week. And I hope others buy with him too
People will give you good deals but they aren’t responsible enough. Doesn’t look like they have good coordination between internal folks, neither with the customer (me).Not have faced more inconvenience because of service department. Sent me home in an unsafe car! The service department deserves a zero star.Tire light was on when I bought the car. They fixed it and said I just needed to drive it for the light to go off. ... Onto the freeway I go for 40 miles.The front tire was OVER 60 psi. The recommended is 33. Do they know how to put air in a tire?The back tires were low at 25 psi....The sales people ( Rudy and Aaron) were pleasant to deal with and the finance guy (Ace) was efficient. Worst experience ever. They told us they had 4 vehicles to see in phone and made us drive 50+ miles from San Jose to Livemore. We called and sent an email to make sure they had the vehicle as my wife is pregnant and we wanted to travel only if the car is available, they called and confirmed that the car is there but once we reach there, there is no car. These ppl are just horrible

Very bad experience, it seems like the no one there is there to help you. I brought a concern to service about the same problem multiple times at every visit. It was not until the 5th visit were they finally check the problem correctly and indeed determined that i had an issue with the vehicle.
These clowns played my perants with no remorse. They had this joker named Rudy who was pretending to be the manager make us wait for so long by using the excuse that were not making any money on you buying your lease. This, my friends, is not okay.Just because your service is not profitable does not mean that you have the right to treat other peoples time as if its dirt.We came on the day of our appointment and were told to come again the next day, they promised that it would be an in and out situation, the next day we were there for 2 hours.I think that this speaks towards the larger problem that by entering the working world humans are expected to let go being considerate. Corporate America has been built on a dog eat dog mentality and its left the white color class cold. Where is Tyler Durden when you need him?
Excellent customer service. Carlos, was professional and friendly to my wife and I. Paper work was quick, no hassle with a great price! I will be referring friends and family. Toyota, has a great line up to choose from with some of the best looking vehicles on the road. There was a lot of choices on the lot to choose from. We are very happy!
Honestly. I’ve debated about posting a review, but lack of communication on their end has given me no choice. I started the car buying about 3 weeks before I actually purchased the car. Worked on getting pre-approved with down payment. I was told everything was good to go and to just come in when I can. When I got to Toyota in Livermore I was so beyond happy, that I was finally going to sign the papers! That wasn’t the case. As soon as I sat down they started talking about how they have to rerun my credit. I stated over and over (at least 6 times) that I didn’t NOT want my credit ran again (they ran it about 7 times total that night) when I found out they ran my credit anyways I was told that it was an old report though my credit app on my phone said new hard inquiry. They continued to argue with me then switched it up by saying “well did it really lower it that much?” Anyways. About two hours after them arguing with me, they decided to try to be “nice” and saying they are trying to help me out as much as possible. I was told I was going to be receiving 700 in credit due to a car not being in the color I want. Blah blah. Well come to find out. Not only did I not get that credit but they didn’t even apply my down payment to my loan! Where my down payment went I have no idea? I have been trying to get in contact with them for about a month with absolutely no luck. I love Toyota but I would NEVER recommend going to the Livermore location unless you want to leave in tears and have them steal money from you.
My experience with Livermore Toyota service department was not as good as it used to be. When I got there someone quickly help and gave me a pice of paper to go inside and wait where someone will help you for the next step. I was waiting and waiting no one paying any attention, one guy was on the phone for very long call, others just ignored me completely and just disappeared on me. I then have to make a phone call and asked to transfer me to the manager, but it went to his/her voicemail. Called again while I was standing there then while I was explaining that I need to talk to the manager, guy on the phone heard me and asked someone to help then someone called me and helped without apologizing for the delay. I was so mad, they were busy without work. There was only couple cars. Later I went to the reception and asked if I can talk to the manager and she pointed me to the customer experience manager I think, that Girl (Manager) came quickly and listened all the details very carefully and apologized for what happened and then went to see the staff to check on this matter. She came back and give me a voucher. Because of her I will give 3 star, else they don’t even deserve any star. I was very disappointed. I didn’t expect this from dealership. Customer service experience manager was very helpful.
