Awful installation and poor customer service. I had a $1700 system installed about three weeks ago and the 6x9 above my trunk have popped and rattled since day one. Even at low volume it sounds terrible. Took it back to them and they claim they couldn’t find a problem. Either the team is deaf or they don’t want to redo the system for me I’m not sure but I don’t suggest anyone have them do an install for any high priced system. They are too inexperienced.

Highly recommend. Had an auto starter installed here. Called one morning during peak season to check availability and they had an opening so they fit me in that day with no appointment. They were willing to stay late one day a week later for no charge to make sure it was functioning properly when I brought it back in with a question.

Called about a marine stereo system for a new 20’ boat they said they couldn’t work on anything that won’t fit in there tiny little work bay . Funny they advertise marine radios an beat any price what a joke I will take my business else where was looking to drop a few thousand dollars on a system horrible customer service

After having a bad day with the x you all know how that goes. All I wanted to do is listen to my sounds to calm me down. BAM something happens no system. So I called Mickey shores and there was someone to help. They said there were busy but they saw me anyway. Needless to say it was a quick fix. The guys were full of knowledge and didnt mind sharing. I got some quality speakers and mp3 hook up done my HD Road King at the Livonia location. I couldnt be any more pleased with the finished product . The work was done professionally and neat one. Regional manager Shane and his crew were amazing to work with. All were extremely knowledgeable in their craft and very professional. If you are looking to get any stereo work done on your motorcycle this is the place to get it done.

Said alarm install would take 2 to 4 hours. Took 5 hours. They told me how the buttons work but didnt SHOW me so when I got home the alarm sound was weak at best and the light did NOT flash at all....will be taking car back in the morning

Well I took my bike in for a radio and speackers which I paid over 1000.oo . They put the system together using some cardboard to make it fit which it fell out a out 3 weeks later I wouldnt use them if they doing some bs like that. And they put put some different speackers in the bike that I didnt want

Dropped my car off at 9 am and got it back at 7 pm I had called several times no one answered so I went up there and was told it would be ready in 1 hour that turn into 2 hours I had the nerve to ask for a discount and the guy was like no problem Ill take care of you in which he lied he didnt take off one thin dime!

Good staff here. Got a new stereo installed as a gift. They spoke to my mother and gave her all she needs to know and did not belittle her questions or decisions and gave her the parts needed for install ahead of time so that we would be sure they could get it done same day. When I came in, they had it done within 3 hours and then gave me a demo of how to use the stereo. All the employees were good guys and addressed me as soon as I walked in.

I went in one day to get a quote on a system for my truck, next day, on moments notice, it was being installed, was able to drop it off in the morning, and then pick it up after work and everything was all done. I know absolutely nothing about car / truck audio but I can tell that these guy definitely know exactly what they’re doing. System blew my doors off (not literally) and I love it, great pricing as well. Definitely going to Mickey shorr for all my car/ truck audio needs from now on.

Very quick to sell a remote start but also quick to tell you it cant be installed today or tomorrow, or leave it and maybe theyll get to it. Nate, was knowledgeable, of course, but clearly just lying to get sale. He wasnt so nice when I asked for refund, which I got. Will take to another Mickey shorr, the one in Livonia should be avoided.

Had to stop in for a remote starter for my husband. They’re first come first serve so because I was in at 5 it wouldn’t be installed in time for me to take the car home tonight. The gentleman at the counter, Nate, was very helpful and explained if I came the next morning around 8/830 I’d have the car back that day for sure. So I came back the next day dropped off the car and a few hours later he called back. He showed me everything about it and was very patient considering I knew nothing about it. Such a nice guy!! Will definitely be coming back for my sons sound system for Christmas!! Thank you Nate!!

Great, honest company! Went in for a remote start, dropped the car off, and within 2 hours it was ready. The remote start required a digital interface installation which was a little extra which was ok. When I came back to pick the car up, they told me my car didnt need the installation and gave me a refund for that part. I had no idea if my car had that already; they couldve easily kept my money and let me leave. Also, gave me a thorough tutorial of how to use the remote start. Will be sending plenty of people there for installations.

I didnt feel like I was priority. Planned to have work done and didnt quite settled on a price cause I wanted more in my package. But got pushed to the side as more customers arrived. So I was asked to come back the next day. I went somewhere else the next day an got a better price for the same type radio an setup. I really didnt have a good experience and cant attest to there work. But I believe it should be first come, fist serve bases unless you have an appointment. Plus every customer should be priority if you want business. Its always best to shop around.

Alarms and remote starts can take on average 3-6 hours for American cars, foreign cars can take longer at times, especially if is a push to start system....With anything that is a computer and needs to be programmed you can run into problems...But they always get it fixed because they really know and care about their customers... if you buy an alarm or remote start from anywhere you should arrange a ride for yourself because they are like brain surgery...

A year ago a spent $2200 bought a 4yr warranty in a years time I had to replace my system and is experiencing THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! DELAY DELAY DELAY ! NOT BCUZ OF RONA! It took 25 minutes to get help. Then when the guy finally started helping me he couldnt find the radio I wanted in their back storage room. Offered to sell me the display and the price jump up to almost $450 for everything. Bad service bad prices

Did good job with installment but dissapointed i found scratches on my wood grain, ciggerette lighter cap was missing. Do to them working on my car until closing time I was rushed out the door.And spent. $1400 i think they couldve at least showed walked me through what I spent. Instead they closed and left me in the parking lot as I check the car out on my own. They was very poor on costmer service. They get 3 stars from me.

They installed a remote starter/alarm on my car,they told me it would take up to four, I took my car in at 9am and got it back at 8pm. That was the first thing, then I went to the gas station to put gas in my car tried to push the button open the door to the gas tank it didnt open, the button for the trunk didnt open.my review mirror lights wasnt working.i took my car back to them for them to tell it was 2 cars in front of mine they would call me when it was my time, never called me.they have the worst customer service I have ever seen,very unprofessional. My lights dont even flash to let me know that car is lock.

Spent $800 on a radio that has not worked from day one. Got car back. Plug it in and if it dont work try the other cord. It was late so I accepted it. Got in car and backup camera making sure planes was landing correctly instead of cars. 2nd day why is my android auto not working. I dont know use your original cord. 3rd day used original cord still not working right. Weed smoker gets in car and clearly has never even touched this radio before. He couldnt even figure out how to turn it off. 4th time finally get somebody that reset everything. 5th time going in bluetooth goes out. Still have to clap and pray for radio to work. Steering wheel controls dont work. Weed smoker there and he gets smart. WOW. Finally somebody agreed to replace defective radio. Long story short stay away from Kenwood 6905s and thisl location. Only 2 workers out of 10 is not a$$holes and know what they are doing.

Incompetent. I had my remote start installed here and have had to go back 4 times during the warranty period to get it fixed. Now its out of warranty and still doesnt work right. I should have gone to the Garden City location where they actually know what theyre doing. $300 wasted!

Customer service was horrid. This was a horrible experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone.I had a remote starter installed. After 4 hours of waiting they said I was all set. While in the parking lot I tested it out and my alarm was going off. I went back in and told the guys and they said that they forgot to switch a setting for my car which is a hybrid. They said they fixed it and told me im all set to go. I test it again in the parking lot and the car would start and then turn off continually. I had to go in again and tell them. They said it was another setting they forgot to switch for my hybrid. I tested it in the parking lot it seemed ok.I drove home (15miles) and then tried it again in my driveway and the same issues happened, alarm going off and starting and turning off continually. I had to drive it back and the guys there were not very helpful about what was going on. So I ended up waiting around again for them to finish. They ended up upgrading my unit to bypass some of the issues they think was happening. I wasnt to fond of the upgrade because I didnt want the fob that came with the upgrade. My key has a lock and unlock built in so i just wanted the starter.After a couple more hours of waiting they said I was all set. I drove around the block and tried it out again. It was doing the same thing...turning on and off.Drove back and they still were not very helpful.This process took about 7 times of them telling me im all set but I find a problem right away. They finally got it working right but not impressed by the pro dealer status they claim they are.All and all DO NOT GO TO THEM! My one day off from work that week I ended up spending all day at Mickey Shorr.

They installed a $200.00 viper starter on my 2008 Grand Caravan . but it kept draining the battery . I took the car there and they concluded it is not from starter . it was new battery .new alternator . and new starter . I decided to remove the starter . so took my van to them and they charged me $40.00 to remove the starter .ever since I have no problem . but $240.00 down the drain .
