AAA and Hillman = Great team! Had called for a jump and dispatch said theyd be there in 90 minutes and I was up and back on the road with a new battery in 45 minutes! Brian was great and Hillmans is an honest and fair shop, thank you and support local businesses!

I repeat do not go to this mechanic!!!! Do not go to this mechanic shop!!!!!! they replaced my motor and I have nothing but issues with it since they did the work and the work that they have done I have had to have other mechanics go over it and pay even more than what I should have for the work done because theyre mechanics have absolutely no clue of what theyre doing!!!

I had issues with my brakes three times. The first time, I went to another auto shop and the issue occurred again. I came here the second time and they told me the first shop must have not fixed what they said they did. They were honest with the issue, told me in detail of what should be done, and worked with me on a solution. Great communication by all the staff here. I am so grateful for their open communication and great service when my brakes stopped working suddenly for the third time and they were able to tow my car from Kenmore and resolve the issue in a timely manner. I highly recommend them!

We had dropped off our Dodge Journey on Sunday afternoon. After work on Monday I stopped in to let them know what it was there for. Hillmans will always be my go-to mechanic. Theyre very good and theyre very fast with what they do. They have both a mechanic and collision shop along with tow trucks.

My used 2013 FIAT 500Ts trans axle was defunct with only 23,400 TOTAL miles. Neither the local dealer nor the manufacturer stepped up to take responsibility they seemed elated that while well under the warranted 50,000 miles ... The time line ran out on January 2, 2017. (I wont even bother to waste time relating how messed up the dealers computer records were. The TITLE for my FIAT is IN MY SONS NAME!!!!) The dealer wanted almost $300 JUST TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT, and verbally quoted me a price of $1,000 more than Hillmans for a new trans axle!!!!Dave worked to locate a used trans axle with 55,000 mile on it; when working, they are well built, and sharpening his pencil was able to help me. All the staff were empathetic to my situation; at times I worried that I was bothering them, they all did what they could to help.Im happy and pleased with Hillmans.Got there for service and other parts for your car. You wont regret it.Dave is going to keep me on the road!!!

Excellent service. Very trustworthy and reliable. They tell me when there really is nothing wrong with my car and do not charge for that check. Just be aware that due to the Pandemic they are NOT offering shuttle service and the waiting room is closed. They forgot to tell me when I made my appointment so that was awkward since I had no ride home. I sure do miss those two things, both additional reasons I switched to using them.

My class A motorhome was backed into. I started an estimate with a different collision shop and after waiting a month, I still did not have an estimate. I drove the rig to Hillman and the estimate was in my inbox before I got home. I made arrangements to drop it off at Hillman for the collision repair work. They were honest and upfront with the pricing, their work and the time estimate. When I picked up my motorhome, everything they said theyd do was done and it looks like new. Thank you!

The owner was very accommodating to me when I needed something looked at, & even printed out some info for me that was very helpful, free of charge. Their facility was beautiful for a car shop, & they were polite. Clean, well kept, up to date. Large waiting area with TVs & couches, tables & chairs, a vending area, etc. I was impressed. They didnt end up having to do work on my car so I cant actually speak to that, or their pricing, otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Our 75 VW Beetle stopped running and I was unable to get it re-started. Called AAA and Hillman Automotive came out and took it to our home. The driver was very helpful and friendly, took very good care of our classic car. Very happy with their service!

I was very impressed! Its very professional and the entire inside is very high-end. I felt like I was at a nice car dealership. Nicely decorated, fireplace, etc. I had an oil change and an inspection done and I was there for a reasonable amount of time. I was able to pay with credit. My car means a LOT to me and I felt like I could trust them.

I needed new tires and called for a quote. They gave me 3 options to choose from and ordered in the ones I wanted but I also think they stock many as well. We scheduled an appointment and they shuttled me to work. It was all done within a few hours. Very efficient and honest. Would recommend to anyone.

IM ONLY TALKING ABOUT THERE TOW SERVICE SAYING ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT THERE AUTOMOTIVE AND TIRE SERVICE WOULD BE UNFAIR. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THERE TOW SERVICE WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL. Called for a roadside flat tire service literally half a block down from there shop, they sent a truck to try and fill my tire but was unsuccessful.... After the 1 min attempt to fill my tire he said I need a tow assuming he was here with a tow truck he would tow me back to the shop instead, He said he needed to send a bigger tow truck and would be 2 separate charges $75 service call $79 tow charge plus 1mile not a way to win business Also over.I.. I run a big collision shop and would go out of my way to do right by the customer a tow bill would have made me happy but to try and charge twice for 5mins of time is ridiculously.... On top of losing future business they lost the repair bill they would have made 🤔

I will never take a vehicle here again, these people are awful, rude, and dismissive, price went up 3 times, and weve NEVER been treated so badly, check engine light came on a few minutes after driving it, when i called the guy blew me off and said i dont know we didnt check for anything, weve always taken our cars to housels, they were always thorough and kind, ran a complete diagnostic no matter what we brought our car in for, save yourself the headache and take your vehicle anywhere but here. Never again, will I or anyone i know go to this place.

When we moved to Lockport in 2001 - I asked around as to where to take my car. Most people said Hillman. We have been using them ever since, I have found them to be fair, honest, and reputable.When I was looking to get another car, I called asking their opinion, and they took the time to help me.I have had small things go wrong, like my wipers were stuck, they fixed them on the spot and sent me on my way - no charge.My husbands car is there now - and I am sure it will be fixed right when I pick it up.

These guys know what they are doing. They are efficient, skilled, honest and competitively priced. What more could you want?I brought my jeep in because it was making a horrible rattling noise. It couldve been anything and I wouldve believed whatever I was told. They tightened something up and didnt even charge me. The folks at Hillman Automotive seem to know exactly what the problem is without intensive diagnostics. All my repairs were done correctly without any need for a return visit. Problem solved.The facility is clean in the waiting room is like a hotel lobby. Enjoy snacks coffee and free Wi-Fi. Or watch their flat screen TV. If you need a ride to work youre more than willing to accommodate and pick you up later too. I would highly recommend Hillmans for all your automotive needs

I called to make an appointment 2 days in advance for a few car repairs and received a quote for the price.I dropped the car off and gave them my number to contact me. After waiting almost 7 hours and hearing nothing I called them 15 minutes before they closed for the day.They said the didnt do any of the repairs because they couldnt get a hold of me. This was a complete lie as my phone never registered a missed call from them. On top of that they quoted me a higher price than what they originally said earlier.Needless to say I took my car and left after I made them give me the oil change for free.Stay away!

All three of our cars owe their efficiency and longevity to HillmansMy son drives a 1999 Saturn which he takes back and forth to school in North Carolina. It runs well and Hillmans has not only done a good job of repairing it, they have also told him when something isnt really an issue.My daughter drives a 2005 Prius with 230,000 miles on it. It just had to have the battery pack replaced at 229,000 miles and Hillmans did it, and did extra research to find a much lower price then I expected. They also gave me their feedback about an online service for battery pack sales they had found to be unreliable, saving me lots of time and possible money.I drive a 2013 Prius, and Hillmans told me the first time I came in for an oil change that it didnt need it at that point because synthetic oil changes last longer. Again, accurate information (I confirmed it with the dealer I bought the car from) and a significant savings for me. I have used Hillmans for years and find them honest, reliable, friendly and just great people to be around.While nobody likes it when their car breaks down, I am always treated well and get good service when I go to Hillmans
