Great workmanship and very nice people. Shelby party was fun and beautiful cars.
Precision Machines is more than a a Ford mustang specialist shop. Kevin, Terry, Karen, Mark, Hayden, and the customers are awesome people. This is a group of people who get to create masterful works of art out of every vehicle coming in the shop. As a whole, the employees also get to support the owner Kevin as pit crew and wrench hands to prepare a few very rare race cars in different classes to help put down records in the history books. We have fun building cool cars for great customers... And we get to help Kevin make racing history... Yes... Its a blessing being part of the crew to make it happen.
A very talented team of professionals that go out of their way to make the customer happy. Outstanding craftmanship and support.
Great people! Always helpful. Above and beyond customer service!
Kevin and Mark, awesome work on a T5 conversation. Thank you very much. Karen, I really appreciated the great customer service. I will sure to be back.
NOTE: If I could give Precision Machines a negative 5 stars, I would. Initially, both Karen (front office) and Kevin (owner) ‘appear’ nice and cordial, but both are hot heads. (They are sister and brother.)I can only state that my whole experience with them was a disaster. They lure you in with being very ‘nicey-nice, but both of them have deep emotional, metal disorders which will surface rather soon if you make even a tiny complaint or ask question about the workmanship.Speaking about workmanship, there also is the problem of poor quality of their shop, as they can’t keep quality help. They treat their employees badly, yell at them, and dehumanize them in front of customers. We live 90 minutes away away from their shop. We were told three times to pick up our car. We made arrangements to go, brought our flatbed trailer, and each time we were called and told to go home and we were already on the road. It was explained that the Healey was not ready, despite us being called earlier in the week to pick it up. They were having a problem with the repaint. I returned a call to Karen during all this, and she yelled at me for calling her cell phone instead of the shop. (She had texted me from her cell and I was responding.)Finally, after a number of failed attempts, we were able to pick up the Healey. VERY poor workmanship. Paint on the repainted trunk had hundreds of tiny bubbles, plus big bubbles! Trim on my Healey was not put back on correctly — screws striped, and crooked. Interior siding panel not attached, stripped. The tunneau cover was stripped where it attaches to the dash. (Apparently someone did not know how to take it off.) And it was almost out of gas, so I can only cringe that someone took it for a prolonged joy ride. Both Karen and Kevin lied about the work that was done and the cost. The cost went up three times after the initial estimate, without explanation. When I asked if the rear trunk lid had been removed, because it was now crooked, and did not shut properly Kevin went immediately ballistic (also known as: narcissistic rage) and then attempted to throw us off the premisses with our empty car trailer! This was in response to my question as to why the trunk was crooked. This is no way to do business. Yes, the trunk lid had been removed and the paint next to the hinge was bubbling. (He did not want me to see that.)I For insurance purposes, I have before and after pictures, so I know the trunk lid was removed. Adjusting the trunk lid would have pulled up the repaint and Kevin knew that. I should add that this repaint job was not from an accident, but from gas leaking out of the gas cap and damaging the paint due to 100 degree weather which caused the gas to expand in the tank. So no body damage, but they were unable to blend the paint correctly, so a larger area which included the trunk and side fender got involved, hence taking off the trim, etc. When I asked about the crooked trunk, Kevin also called my car a Sows Ear that he had to turn into a silk purse. (My car was just recently appraised for $85,500. Its a nice Show-quality Austin Healey.) He also said it was a ‘cheap daily driver’ that was made bad from the moment it rolled off the assembly line. (I only drive it to car shows.)Needless to say, we paid and left with the car. DO NOT GO TO THESE RAGE-AHOLIC, LYING, BULLYING PEOPLE!
I always see nice looking cars coming out if this shop, I work across the street.
