I have seen this mans work before at car shows and I was told he was highly recommended. I visited the shop to inquire about having my 1968 mustang painted and was pleased with how cordial the owner and his son seemed. They can definitely do great work. Even though I was quoted $15,000 to paint my car and that the turn around time would be 6-12 months I knew it would be worth it. I supplied the paint and some trim pieces since these guys are experts on customs right? WRONG. First, I was totally put on the back burner. I had to keep checking in so they knew I didnt forget my car was in the shop. To make a long story short it took me a 1 and a half YEARS to get my damn car back. Okay but everything is perfect right? NO. I wouldve had a better paint job if I went to Maaco. The paint is ultra thin and brittle. Its breaking off in places I havent even touched. The owner said he put 5 coats of paint on the car. Really? Because you only used 2/3 of a quart of the paint I purchased. There are scratches on the paint from fitting the chrome trim. Some of the chrome is bent. They refused to put my bumpers on. They completely tore up the brackets where my hood pins are supposed to go. There are bubbles in the rear section and what looks like PAINT BRUSH marks near my license plate area. I dont expect this paint job to last more than 2 years. I wont show the car because its an embarrassment. Maybe I will show it so everyone can avoid this place. They only take cash or check and dont give you receipts. I am an idiot for trusting these amateurs. Ill post photos to prove how horrible their work is. Thanks Daniel for screwing me.FIND A NEW LINE OF WORK, ROOKIE.
