This was my first time at this store. I came to pick up my daughter’s medication, she had just been released from a two week stay at the hospital following major abdominal surgery. I arrived at Walgreens 2 hours after getting her settled in at home to a 45 minute wait in line to get to the pick up window only to find out that they only had an Rx for over the counter medications such as Tylenol and Motrin and there was nothing in their system for the heavy duty pain medications she was supposed to get. I left very frustrated because she doesn’t need those wimpy pain meds she needs her heavy duty pain medication. We called the hospital and they verified that all the medication on the discharge papers had been sent and that they had received a verification that Walgreens had received the prescriptions, The discharge nurse said she would call Walgreens and find out what happened on their end. The hospital called back and said that Walgreens had indeed received the prescription orders, and that the pharmacist had not entered the information in. Fast forward to 8:00pm. 6 hours after being released from the hospital, My daughter suffering in pain with no pain medications. We have been waiting for their text to let us know the prescription is ready. I call the pharmacy to check on the status and the person answering says “We are still working on it, but now that we are done with giving Covid shots we will get this processed, come down in 20 minutes” I go down to Walgreens drive through and wait 35 minutes in line. I finally get to the window, I finally get her medication! It is after 9:00pm. 7 hours of agony for my daughter with no pain medication at home. This is unacceptable! This is my first experience with Walgreens, And hopefully will be my last!!! I told my daughter no more Walgreens.
Either you’re going in store or the drive up to pick up your medications, you’d better have extra 45 mins to an hour. The pharmacy service could use customer service training.
I use the drive through for the pharmacy. It is always backed up. They really need another location in Lodi.
Made a online appointment for a COVID shot and still had to wait in the line for almost 2 hr. What good is the appointments on line for if they aren’t going to use them?
Terrible night staff rude as hell. Cashier let three people cut infront of us while waiting in line even said she saw it but didnt feel like doing anything about it cause she was tired.. then proceed to ring my items up it was 5.29 I handed her 6.00 and she said she didnt have any chance so sorry its your fault. Got shorted 56 cents then my brother proceeds to check out also and she shorted him 75 cents!! Even though she had change in the drawer!!! Atleast go get some change rolls!! I kept both my receipts! I dont even want to start on how bad the pharmacy system is. Update 2 days later I am here to pick up prescription at 9 am and I have been here for 20 min in one spot why do they not have more staff?
SERIOUSLY, Go somewhere else to ge your script filled. I was told it will take 1 to 2 hours to fill. After 4 hours of waiting, I finally tried to call them for a follow up only to be put only hold 6 times and hung up on the 7th time (30+ mins of holding). I needed the antibiotics and pain meds for my daugther as she was in so much pain when the anesthesia wore off after her surgery. Make that extra drive to go another Pharmacy. Youve been warned.
Is it possible to subtract stars? The only reason they get 1 star is because you cant choose zero and the only reason I keep going back is they have great prices. Unfortunately I have never waited under 45 minutes usually much longer. They all seem to hate their job and they pass that attitude on to the costumer. They can turn a simple prescription refill into a nightmare only to find it has been filled and ready for pickup all along. They are extremely understaffed so adding that to all the other issues you have a recipe for eventual disaster. Dont take my word for it alone read the rest of the countless terrible reviews. At least they are consistantly terrible
My family and I have been utilizing Walgreens pharmacy for over eight years now and to think that there was no warning prior to their shut down of their pharmacy they continuously claim that it’s a computer issue when in reality we just got a notification that Walgreens is now all of a sudden doing delivery I think this is great but I think the execution is where all of this failed you have to consider that there are individuals such as myself that don’t have immediate access to the pharmacy prescription drug card and I had to wait over a week and a half to receive information about my insurance to switch over to a different pharmacy this was not only inconvenient but again poorly executed it was with little to no regard to the population that has been keeping this Walgreens alive zero respect zero care zero compassion the rest of the stores all right but since the really good manager left about 8 to 10 years ago it’s been terrible would I recommend this Walgreens sure if you want overpriced convenient goods and generally OK customer service besides that you probably do better spending the gas and time going elsewhere at least save some money and have customer service that doesn’t lie to you and I actually cares I can only imagine people with diabetes people like me with severe mental health issues And elderly people who are disabled that are unable to get into the stores and who rely on individuals to help them pick up the medications all I’m saying is Walgreen’s if you want better reviews maybe you should actually read them maybe you should actually start caring about your community maybe you should follow your corporate slogans it’s almost like this is a Walgreens all of its own
Not currently open 24/7. They do let you eat Clorox wipes right off the shelves if you forget your mask though.
To long of wait in pharmacy line. Go to Raleys!
I dont want to give them any stars. They were very rude. I felt like I was being watched like I was going to steal something. After pressing the customer service button because I needed something that was locked up. The manager came by and I thought she was coming to help me but she went the other way so I pressed the button again. I finally had to go get her. Then at the check out lane she rang someone out and it was my turn she made me wait instead of ringing me out. Bad customer service.
It definitely is odd that corporate seems to know nothing about the fact they have been closed down for SIX DAYS. Yesterday they told my doctors assistant that they would be open for people to go get prescriptions, but nope, the doors are still locked except for deliveries. And then they scurry away like rats after they lock the door again. I cant even get my prescriptions filled at another drug store until they reverse the claim, but apparently they cant even be bothered to do that much. I understand that computer problems happen, but they could DEFINITELY have a customer service person trying to help people who desperately need their medicines. I have been on the phone for 2 hours, no help. The local store is even refusing to answer their phones now.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes the front check out can get slow but it is usually fast. I get the senior discount on the first Tuesday of the month. I have not used the pharmacy but I like the store for the selection of items.
TERRIBLE SERVICE. INCOMPLETE FILING OF PRESCRIPTIONS. INCORRECT LOCATIONS OF FILLED SCRIPTS I.E. I MOVED STATES/ INSURANCES AND UPDATED NUMEROUS TIMES AND STILL BEING FILLED AND BILLED INCORRECTLY.
Isn’t funny how this Walgreens has been closed for three days and corporate doesn’t know anything about it! Looks pretty fishy to me!!! Thanks Walgreens for letting me go into withdrawals because I can’t get my medication!!!
The store is not abiding by state COVID guidelines. Tons of customers without their masks on properly and some with no masks at all. You would think a pharmacy would be more careful. Also the store is allowing far too many customers in at a time.
Well stocked, in fact they have as much or more than any other walgreens Ive seen. However I dont have an opinion about the pharmacy
So slow they couldnt catch covid 19,24hrs to fill an antibiotic! really?
Pull up to Lodi store on 10/18/20. Sign says store temporarily closed and to go to the next town (Stockton) Walgreens. Ok, closed temporarily. For what...a few hours, days, weeks? Nothing on the website. Called Stockton Store staff who have no clue whats going on with Lodi Store. Lame.
There pharmacy is a confused nightmare never have prescription ready when they say.
During Covid 19, 1st 3 months - started getting the free delivery of my many prescriptions, because I have 4 conditions and am over 65, very susceptible to the virus. Then in May I have 5 prescriptions filled for delivery, 2 of them were for an illness I was sick with, including an antibiotic. Two days later still have not received. Five phone calls ( sent to a call center) later, a rep tells me to say delivery when phone ans. Actually in touch with local store and tell them problem, still took 12 more hours to get med for illness. Now, the Drive Through is closed and having to risk being exposed to get meds. GOV made mandate for ALL to wear masks in public places 6/19/20 - picking up prescrip. today 6/21- at least 10 people shopping without Masks on. I feel endangered, marginalized!
Horrible customer service. Lost my business for good. Looking for a med no one has in stock and the pharmacist refused to help, didnt want to look it up because he couldnt spell it, then made me spell it for him (which I did phonetically 3 times) and he still couldnt spell it right. He tried to hang up on me twice because he didnt want to do actual work. :-( if I could give negative stars, I would.
Good pharmacy, Dennis is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable!
Horrible experience tonight. Everyone else’s review is spot on about the service here, flat out rude and unprofessional. They had the nerve to say my prescription I just had written by my doctor was a copy and not valid. Wouldn’t even explain why. I have never dealt with this before or experienced anything like this. They said there’s nothing they can do and I would have to wait until the morning to call my doctor. I just got off the phone with my doctor and solved the issue in 5 seconds. I’m going to file a formal complaint for discrimination. This medication is time sensitive.
Waited 24 hrs for a prescription. Staff said it wasnt in the system. Doc calls the pharmacy and is told my scrip is ready. When we go in to pick it up, still not in their system. When I called the next day I am told by automated response that my scrip is ready but theres an issue with insurance. Insurance calls them and they left the representative on hold and never answered them. Truly unprofessional and I will never be using this pharmacy again.
Good
I’m here on vacay visiting family and I have NEVER experienced poor service like this from Walgreens before. First they said it was “too early” to pick up my birth control and to pay $50?! ( I have never had to pay before) I just got a text saying it was ready for pickup. Then I called and on multiple occasions they would always cut me off. On top of that it only takes about 15-20 mins to refill but then they said it’d take an hour...definitely need to work on being personable!
I am always greeted when I enter. Great prices love the after holidays markdowbs. Just got large stuffed animals for $3 regularly $10. Photos in an hour or less at times.
Dont go to this pharmacy! They do not care about helping people, they are only concerned about making a paycheck. They wont fill your scripts, even if you were dying right there in their store. No exaggeration.
The staff is very friendly and helpful...However, the wait times are outrageous. Waited 3 hrs for my kids antibiotics. I have had the same issue many times with them. Used to be about a 20 min wait. Need more staff or stop taking additional patients.
Is it possible to give no stars?! The absolute slowest pharmacy Ive ever been to! Three hours and my daughters medicine is still not ready.
Went here at almost midnight to pick up a prescription for my dog to manage his seizures. Was totally shocked when the price tripled from the last time. The pharmacy tech went out of her way to find me discount coupons and sign me up for a discount program which ended up making the toal cost 1/3 of the usual price! Great customer service and very kind, caring staff!
Very rude manegers they dont even help you when you dont get your points the manager is very rude and she makes a big deal.about it
Use the pharmacy here. Always polite and helpful. They fill a ton of prescriptions and sometimes takes a while to get your prescription.
Good customer service and they have a 24 hour drive thru which is very convenient. Girl named Brenda who works there is awesome, very knowledgeable.
Good foto center
Always when I need help, They are very Knowledgeable and very gracious. Theyre always willing to help when you ask.
Really really horrible pharmacy with bad customer service and if you call pharmacy takes more than hour to help or pickup. Do not go there for your prescription even the people who work on the floor are rude and unprofessional and do not even greet. Do not go there.
There was no beans ⁉️‼️⁉️‼️⁉️
Beyond SLOW ! Called 4 times tonight and over the course of 1:09 mins THEY NEVER ANSOERED ! At o. Splint the recording said there was 1 caller ahead of me....for 26 mins? Go someplace else for your pharmacy needs !!!
Well organized clean and friendly workers nothing to complain over
Same as always
I tried to use their phone system, and it would not recognize ANY of the numbers it wanted you to use to complete a call to the dept. It was extremely frustrating!
The worst! We had both the insurance and the doctor call us, after they called Walgreens, that our prescriptions were ready. We go there and they tell us its not in their system..obviously theyd rather see us die right there in the waiting line than give us our medication.
Extremely slow in the drive thru pharmacy
Super fast photo deptment.
I know it is not the employees. It is Walgreens, for not hiring enough people for the pharmacy! Shame on Walgreens for causing your employees to be stressed, and overworked!
Pharmacy is lazy, doesnt do their job. Go somewhere else
This has to be the slowest pharmacy Ive ever been to. Unless they can speed things up, I will never use this store again.
I been on the phone waiting to be answered. They hanged up on my previous call without no answer...! Its upsetting,
Wait times are ridiculous! And most of the pharmacy staff are rude and act like you bother them!
Waited 3 hrs for my kids antibiotics.
Terrible place wait for 45 minutes for my pills and very rude people Im never coming back .. Love my CVS pharmacy
To drop a prescription they are so slow and only keep one person in the front to help you
Very rude and dont give a rap bout customer service do yourself a favor dont come here liars scam artists
Fast and friendly
Unhelpful pharmacy.
Bad experience
Seems legit.
Horrible pharmacy, zero star if possible, I have to wait for one hour to get my medicine, go to cvs
The customer service is very poor. The employee who worked at night in the drive thru was very rude. He input my insurance information wrong, very rudely told me I wasn’t covered, and charged me full price for my medicine when I should have been covered 100%. He didn’t even bother offering to try to input the information again. He was very snappy. The next morning I tried to call to get my money back and resolve the issue, and after being on hold for 30 minutes, the store associate was also very rude. She was talking over me with attitude as I would address my concerns. And told me I’d have to come down with my insurance card (although I had Covid) in order to fix the problem. I tried reading her my information over the phone, and she claimed that’s not what she needed and that id have to return when I had what she needed. I tried to return once I was clear of my quarantine period, and the store was closed “due to a power outage” it was rescheduled to reopen at 10, and by 10:40am they finally told us it wasn’t scheduled to open back up.
