Sunset Sweets Ice Cream & Treats in Lodi, CA has mouth-delighting ice cream in a fun atmosphere.This super family friendly business features Gunther’s (out of Sacramento since 1940) ice cream in a Hawaiian themed shop.Seating is available inside and outside. The outside seating is surrounded by a half-wall and there are thatched type umbrellas to keep your temperature down while you enjoy your cold treats!I opted for a hot fudge sundae with a double scoop of Oreo ice cream topped with whipped cream! It was delightful!Great selection. Quality products. Helpful, friendly service.Since my visit was on a Sunday, I got lucky because they have a 25% off church special!Plenty of parking here too.

They have Gunthers ice cream here, really thats all that needs to be said! This is an old fashioned ice cream shop, they are a dying breed. The service is wonderful and the food is great. I highly recommend this establishment.

The ice cream is so creamy and the flavors are awesome. I take all my friends there for their first time. Just as an excuse to have their ice cream again!I love Strawberry Cheese Cake, Birthday Cake and of course the Vanilla! Very affordable! They have specials every day, go in and check them out! The staff is friendly and patience when you cant make up your mind! 😁

The food is very good. The only issue that I have is the location. They very rarely come to mind when we are interested in ice cream. We live near Tokay High is tend to forget they are close by🤷‍♂️

Excellent shaved ice with tons of flavors to choose from! Prices are great for the size of shaved ice! Love the milk topping! A few seats available inside with plenty of outdoor covered seating to enjoy on a hot day! Also a fire pit available for colder days or late evenings! Highly recommend this location! Just too bad several businesses in the center have closed near it.

Owner was friendly, and even when my husband talked his ear off he was more than happy to stay engaged in the conversation!! Small business, but worth the money! My daughter loved the ice cream!!

The atmosphere is very fun and colorful and the ice cream is yummy. Theres even a nice outside seating area.

The banana strawberry smoothie we got was a little bitter and the employee helping us was also. The ice cream was all good though.

Very good ice cream sundaes! Next visit I am going to try the Hawaiian shaved ice :)Second visit I tried the shaved ice, and it is better than I hoped! The Hawaiian style is with ice cream on the bottom and a creamy drizzle on top with the slushi ice in the middle. Try pineapple cherry with vanilla, it is a dream come true.

They have coconut ice cream here!!! Yes please and hortacha ice cream yes please. Not always but when they do! Its delicious!

My Hubby, my grandson and I went to check this place out for ice cream about 2wks ago..They have good ice cream..they use Gunthers Ice cream but its a little pricey..but good!!
