I have been going to Safeway since I was a little kid. This is where we always have shopped. It is not always the cheapest in town but, you can find good sales sometimes and they have a great selection of foods and a wonderful deli. I also like the customer service and cleanliness.I shop at various stores, but overall Safeway scores higher than most due to their overall excellence .

Always have great experience here. Today just ordering Thanksgiving dinner.

I moved to Lodi in June and today was my third time visiting this store. I’m disappointed with the quality of their produce at this location, twice now I’ve gotten home only to find the berries I’d just purchased are molded, the store itself seems fairly clean but you have to be careful of expired or nearly expired items especially in the dairy section. My first trip I got home with cottage cheese that the “best by date” was that same day, this is usually a couple weeks away minimum with cottage cheese. Same issue with yogurt on 2 occasions. I’ve never had a problem with Safeway in the past which is the only reason I gave them multiple chances but it just seems the norm for this store.

Even though there prices are a little higher, you get what you paid for.I buy all my produce at Safeway, because its the best I have found. I have never had a problem with it. The bakery never disappoints me, its always great. They have a wonderful deli, the Chinese food I love it. Put it this way, I go in with my list of a few items and come out with my cart full.😁 Safeway always has great sales each week to. They also have a pharmacy thats very convenient when youre in a hurry. They have Lotto, cater to disabled customers, lots of checkout lines and very polite knowledgeable employees.

I buy groceries online for my brother who is handicapped and cannot do it for himself. Whenever I have a problem or an issue with the groceries I call to get it fixed and its dealt with immediately I love the people in the ecart section. Awesome you guys thank you

Quick in and out b/c I didnt find what I needed at Target. Neither did Safeway. Damn Covid and nobody wants to work and unload container ships in the ports

I adore this store. When you walk in flowers so many flowers! It smells lovely. Prices are somewhat high but you expect such from Safeway. Yesterday my mate and I got a seven layer bean dip (one of those store made deals) along with a slue of other things but that bean dip was delicious... and made us sick. I was throwing up all night and my mate went to work today looking pale and feeling all those things you feel with food poisoning.

Yesterday I waited over an hour for someone in the bakery so I could pick up a cake I ordered. When she finally came back, the cake wasnt decorated how I asked, but the person who rang me up said it was because the person who took my order was new, which is understandable. It happens. But the decorations that were on the cake didnt look very good, and when I got home and cut it, it wasnt even the right kind of cake that was written on my order. I definitely will not be ordering another from this location.

So a few days ago I got a pickup order and it was incomplete, so I went in the store slightly perturbed…. But the manager noticed me and asked me if she could help me with anything, I explained my dilemma and she helped me with a substitute for what I needed. She was great and represented Safeway well.

Safeway has great DEALS but is expensive in the long run. Im not big on that since there is not product that is better

Employees can be a little rude at times. You apologize for making a mistake & she rolled her eyes. There is this young lady that is always smiling & helps everyone.

I went to the starbucks in the store nikki was the server when she gave me my change which was 4 dollars I told her to keep it as a tip and she just gave me a dirty look, like I was white trash! 4 bucks may not be much but my heart was in the right place, nikki has no heart. 😡

Used to love this place. Once upon a time was open 24 hrs and all the checkers were recognizable. Now it seems like random young checkers. No hometown feel anymore. Im changing over to raleys

Yummy sandwiches and their service is always polite.

Ran in to get a few items I had forgotten for Thanksgiving. To my delight cranberry sauce was just inside the door, milk, eggs and butter were all in the same area so I didnt have to cross the entire store to find them. Self check out was fast and easy. Five stars.

I personally prefer cashier service, but lights were off and everyone was using self checkout. Its ok for less than 5 items. But if I have more than 10 I do prefer cashier and the service, over doing it myself.

I like Safeway I think its weird really great store in the employees and staff are always helpful when I ask for help give me. I like that they have a variety of sandwiches and meats and salads and all that stuff in the deli Im not a mediator but I look for many other things

As a visitor to Lodi Safeway I called ahead to see if they had the product I was looking for. Not only did Ashley look for me but had it waiting at the checkout. I couldnt have asked for better service.

Too expensive, aisles are too narrow, too crowded, dont ever have what I need or am looking for......

Super clean store! A bit crowded when I was there, Friday about Noon. But shopping at Safeway is always a good deal. Bought some quick meals for the night, including wine🍷! Seemed a bit crowded for me to shop produce or anywhere deeper into market.

This particular store is clean and well laid out and currently well stocked in most areas. The carts were nicely cleaned and inside the store. Two drawbacks however; there were a few customers allowed to shop without masks with seeming impunity and, minor issue perhaps, but they are charging for bags but not allowing your own reusable bags to be used.We should be doing better

Very expensive, even with their club cards. Also, limited selection of certain items. Rotisserie chicken was a flat out joke. Didnt even look like it was cooked. This is a no- not again.

Pharmacy was great. Cashier should have calledd an additional cashier to the register sooner. There was a man with a basket full absolutely full of groceries in front of me and it was slow going. Plus 2 in back of me

I usually only try to buy certain things at Safeway. This particular one has amazing hot Asian food. The price is really cheap too. Best place to get take home chow mein and fried rice. The store is really clean as well. Produce is always fresh. I go here about twice a month. The pharmacy is a little slow though. It would be 5 stars if they picked up the pace in that department.

I love Safeways produce and meats. A very clean store...HOWEVER...when Safeway advertises sales, they trick you by not honoring the sale price. This seems to happen often. But, after alerting them to this (by talking to the mgr) they ultimately honored the sale price. Also, the self-check out kiosks are a pain in the rear to use!

I like the Lodi Safeway. Its always very clean and well stocked. I also like that the vitamins and health aid items arent separated with its own checkout like the one in Stockton. Its so much more convenient tio purchase it all at one time. Thank you Lodi Safeway!

As it pertains to Safeway Lodi, CA - HORRIBLE - out of stock on items I went there for - wrong pricing on items I purchased - 2 checkers working - 40 minutes to purchase 4 bottles of wine & 10 cans of soup. They wont see me again.

I Love Safeway. They have great produce and meats. The bakery has the best sweets. The best in town, I feel personally. The cashiers are nice and helpful. Its clean. Anna the cashier at self check at night is the greatest. She is so friendly and always goes out of her way to help me and my wife. Customer service at Safeway is wonderful. I dont care if I have to spend a little more on something there. Its worth it .
