Well-stocked easy to get along with people in it

Only shop here when I get a few items because service is usually awful. Today was no different. The check out clerk did not know what parsley was and had to look it up. Then she did not have a clue what an artichoke was....What the heck! She has worked there at least for a few months because I have seen her working before. Neither of these items were anything exotic but definitely held up the check out of my five items I went in for. Maybe some training of the cashier would be appropriate.

Love this store. I thank all the employees for making the shopping really easy. Well organized.

One of the managers was super rude. I bought some cookies for my kids, turned out they were expired. I went to return the cookies with my receipt, and the manager said in a rude manner that they cannot return food items. I wouldnt mind if she explained it in a calm manner, but the attitude was not necessary, especially since the mistake was theirs for selling expired cookies (expiration date Oct 2020). Was hoping for better customer service

It is a very nice place to shop for groceries the staff is really amazing and caring.

Food shopping was great they had everything I need even shopping bag and can pay with cash. Unlike Walmart they always have no shopping bag, cart and u cant pay with cash.

I only have one complaint. The store needs more than one disability cart. Other than that the store was clean, staff were helpful, products were well stocked.

This store specializes in bulk products. So it can be limiting. The last several times I visited this store the young lady working the register has been very rude, moody and seems to be a bit judgemental with some patrons. I was one of the unfortunate ones. I have to say that I know everyone is entitled to a bad day on occasion but when its occuring everyday thats not 🚫 okay.

A very convenient wholesale place to shop... Reasonable prices for a wholesale grocery store. I rank them at 4 simply because its a bit crowded in there. Its not too bad right now due to the limited number allowed inside, however, on a regular day its way too crowded and it doesnt help that the aisles are also used to display more items. Otherwise, a convenient place for my weekly shopping. I dont even shop at any grocery store anymore. Smart & Final Extra is my one only choice!

I love coming to this place its near my house I have great customer service and fast checkout even when is crowded.

Smart & Final its a great place to shop for everything I need from produce to Meats, from cooking supplies to cleaning supplies, and of course the cherry on top is they have an extensive variety of Wine.

Accepts WIC & EBT in case anyone is curious (I didnt see that info posted anywhere). The flow of the store is a bit strange, and slightly hard to navigate because the signs at the end of the aisle only tell you Half of what that aisle contains, the rest is listed on the sign located at the opposite end. Not a fan of that. Employees are pretty helpful when asked.

This is one of my favorite places to shop, but the selection could be a bit better. The other Smart and Final Ive been to has a lot more in it. Also, the store tends to be kind of dirty, but that doesnt bother me really.

This is just like any other grocery store. Nothing special about this Smart & Final at all. The Employees could definitely learn some Customer Service skills. None of them seem happy to help anyone. Nor do they seem to appreciate the fact, they have a job.

I really like this chain, but I dont care for this particular store much. Pleasanton and Elk Grove are so much better. Part of my dislike is some of the employees attitudes, some is the disorganization in some areas, some is from bad stocking / ordering issues. Its also hard to find employee assistance. Im more irritated than usual with them today. It was a 1 star rating visit this time.Examples from today: Had to re-arrange their soda stock and navigate thru a bunch of lose rolling cans of soda atop pallets to creep under the deep shelf to the back of the display to find an unbroken case of soda. You think someone would clean that mess up (2 broken cases not cleaned up).So I mentioned the soda problem at the register. She initially blamed the stocking crew from the night before (my visit was in the afternoon) and then she blamed the ANIMALS (meaning people) who make messes. Really? Who talks that way to a Customer?This wasnt meant to be a rant, but theres more... No regular green onions in stock. One single white onion left in stock. My red onion has a rotten spot. I needed help with bulk beef and couldnt find anyone to ask questions of. Lastly, my visit started with the sliding door not opening up enough for my cart to go through. One employee saw the problem and went back to what they were doing. Another employee came over after a wait and finally opened the door.This was a very disappointing visit.

Local store makes shopping easier. Great selection of items.Only one disabled mobility scooter, but otherwise, one of my favorite stores.

Inventory is better at other smart and finals.

Like this store because it is very clean and has some really good sale prices but having said that my biggest complaints about this particular store is there is never enough checkers and it takes forever to check out and they very often dont have items that are in their weekly ad.

Went to Smart and Final today and was very pleased to find it not as busy as I thought since it is the day before Thanksgiving the shelves were stocked and staff was helpful

Cashier was very nice and patient. My Littles were in need of some extra attention and overdue for their naps, understandably I was in a hurry to finish my shopping and get home. 3 items took approx. 45mins due to my kids but also the set up of store. Location of items does not flow well and found myself searching up and down aisles. Disappointed they dont carry childrens toothpaste, was hoping to make only one shopping stop today. Aisles are pretty narrow and as I stated above, not the easiest to navigate.

I had a good experience there today, and the times before that they have always been great too.

Smart & Final is my go to market at home in Atascadero (San Luis Obispo location is also a great store). While I was visiting my Mom in Lodi this weekend (January 18, 2019) we picked up a few items from the local location.She had never been your store. Sad to report the FS Pure Maple Syrup we purchased had to be returned. The use by date was November 16, 2006. Yes 12 + YEARS old!! So shocked at that date! Unbelievable how that remained on the shelf! And the olive oil cooking spray we purchased has a use by date of March 22, 2019. So that is a bit old but still useable. Unfortunately the staff was not very friendly either. Maybe a smile or hi did you find everything you needed today? Very poor experience in Lodi.
