First day coming from Canada to USA the ladies in here were so helpful to me and my husband. They helped us find everything we needed to start our home
Good choices. Especially frozen varieties! Ample parking!
THEY HAVE ALL THE STUFF YOU NEED IN SMALL WELL ORGANIZED...
Rude customer service and spoilt merchandise.
This place is little pricy comparing to other Indian grocery stores.
Very organized Indian grocery stores with a lot of options available ranging from vegetables to spices to frozen food. Also ample parking space available with an added advantage of walmart close by.
I cant give less than 1 otherwise for customer service it is horrible horrible customer service, deserve - minus10 point.I have been visited this place in past for few times but never had experience like today, I never seen this lady before during my past visits.I visited this place toda on very auspicious day Dashera to buy jalebi. I called before to go there if they have in stock. I drove 5 miles one way to get 2 box of jalebi only - worth total $ 9. But walk through the store & saw vadilal ice-cream, I was interested for Amul but I purchased Vadilal. Also I bout a couple of other things & total was around $ 27. I just asked very politely lady behind the counter if its purchased by them fresh otherwise it becomes dry on top even if sealed containers. So says we cant say or cant do anything until expiry date in very very very rude tone & attitude. Meanwhile I already paid her & she was going to return the change so I said still politely that ben why you get so much upset - in gujarati ? I said can I return if its dry from inside? She says NO with very very angry attitude. So I said then just take off ice-cream only. So she got so much upset & hit her both hands on counter with upset attitude so I said again in very polite voice ben dont get upset, I dont want it. So started replying back in very rude & dadagiri tone that we are here to do business not for YOU. So still I was telling her that ben aatli dadagiri not good for business. I also did business for 15 years, i know how to talk to customer but she was in her attitude & dont care about customer even there was another 3 people walk around in store. 1 lady customer behind me - was telling me that bhaiya jane do. I said if you have this kind attitude people think 10 times to come to your store, she said I dont care.Meanwhile the guy who was cleaning the floor came & ask me what happened so I was going to explain him ( I dont know who is authorized person ) then lady started shouting to me & says talk to me, Im here behind the counter, go away from the store. When I said to this lady ben, aatli dadagiri sari nahi so she replied me thay te kari le, dadagiri thi j vaat thase. So I left everything ( total around $26 instead of was going to for only $9 ) grab my money and walkout.Very very disappointed experience on dasera. I dont want to spoil my holiday bcoz of some nonsense, arrogant, rude lady. We do respect ladies so i dont want to create any issue. I just walkout.P.S. To Owner : if you read & want to talk to find out what happened, Im going to email you my details with phone number. I dont want to write my number here. I saw your email address from another review, who gave you 1 star rating. Please improve your customer service if you want to grow your business. There is a big D-mart going to open on Paterson Ave next to CVS, it will effect a lot to your busines. To bring customer in store is very very hard but to loose its very easy..
Very clean store, lot of products and good price on most items
You will find everything you need.
They have decent variety of Indian grocery items. I don’t find veggies fresh sometime. Staff is friendly and helpful. Thanks guys.
Very clean store with an excellent selection
Goods and prices are awesome.Very clean, well kept.Customer service can be a little more friendly.Ex female Cashier was really nice and friendly tho
Pathetic!! Wish I could give negative. They keep many items of expiry date .Prices are in higher side too!!All good reviews seems to be fake!!Not sure how they are running the shop!!Total loot!!
Ive visited this store a handful of times.Although they have a wide variety of foods, I cannot deal with the uneasiness of walking through the store while they watch you as if you are going to steal something. My first visit, I walked in with my twin girls in their stroller. I noticed that every isle I walked down there was an employee watching. Never asked if I needed help, just watched. Though they had great prices, I ended up leaving. Tried again, this time by myself and again I was watched and followed throughout the store. This time I purchased a few things, but again was uneasy. I returned a couple of more times and the same situation. Ive actually opted to pay more in other places for the same items they sell, just not to visit the store. Its a shame too because honestly the prices are great!
Great costumer service nice and clean and great foodVery convenient faster shopping and easy for working moms.
Great place, clean, great selection. Lady very helpful and gets warmer once she gets to know you. I adore this place
Zero stars. THIS STORE IS A SCAM.All shoppers BEWARE of this store!! They have a pathetic customer policy and WILL NOT RETURN any items in spite of it being mentioned in their receipt. They lie TO YOUR FACE. DISGUSTING STORE AND DISGUSTING SERVICE. They are disrespectful and dishonest. I wish I had read the reviews before visiting this gross store. Such a bad experience. Such kind of behavior leaves a bad impression about our Indian community.NEVER GO HERE. EVER.
Small Indian grocery shop with availability of limited vegetables. This is a quick stop if you need something urgent. For a weeks grocery I would recommend people to go to some other Indian Grocery stores.
Great space, plenty of parking and easy to access. Great variety and plenty of choices. Prices were a little bit higher than other Indian stores I go to, but nothing substantial.
A well stocked Indian grocery. Well priced too.
Very clean, organized. Plenty of parking availableSmiling faces around. Just moved into the area from Jersey city... you wont miss it at all
This Indian grocery store is the best in Bergen county. It carries basically all items including PATANJALI hair shampoo/conditioner which I love from here! I always receive the best customer service from here. This store is my go to store for Indian products.
Nice and clean with good prices. The owners are friendly. I love coming here and browsing through their aisles filled with Indian goodies. P.S. When checking out, try the hazelnut Cadbury bar. Yummy! :)
Has basically everything we need for making Indian food outside of meat products. Fair prices and much preferred to travel here than going to Jersey City based on my location.
Nice Indian store in Lodi.
Indian grocer... Fresh and frozen items... Meat or veggie... Frozen veggie dinners make quick/great sides when Im cooking an entree. Friendly helpful staff.
Decent Indian grocer in the area. Youll find pretty much everything
Nice and clean store...with variety of indian grocery...ample parking.
Not bad but limited by space to carry variety.
THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!! Got rice and flour from their, and it was filled with webs and it was moldy. When I went to return it they said it was my fault it was moldy!!!!!! Horrible store I was a customer for awhile ... now I will never go their. Rude customer service and the products are old and moldy. DONT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!! DO NOT GO THEIR !
There is always plenty of parking. The shop is small but you can get almost always everything you need from any desi shop. Check out is fast as the shop is not crowded. You can also get halal chicken kabobs
They didnt have the item I had bought from them before. I think they are a little expensive, because they are a small shop. By accident I dropped a bottle and I offered to pay for it. If it were my store to keep the client Id let it go, but they charged me the item. Its ok to buy certain items from them, but not to be your regular grocery store
Good place for Indian grocery shopping. Small shop but has a good variety of stuff and variety.
Horrible experience. Just purchased a Bansi Puffs packet. Had worms inside it. Went to return it back and a elderly person claiming to be the owner was arrogant, unapologetic rude and started telling me that my poly bag had the worms. This is my first complaint post. Will be posting the video in all community groups I know soon. Never going back to this store ever again. Also not sure if I can complain about this but will be calling FDA on Tuesday and see if some authority can check into this.
For Sure you will satisfiedand hopefully if you want some Indian food and groceries visit once.
This place has lots of great desi snacks and the groceries are priced reasonably.
Wonderful place for Indian food and goods in a clean well kept environment. Very diverse regional indian products in English and countrys many languages. Friendly & kinds te employees knows the products well and how to use them. Personally love this place and go often.
Very nice store. Great prices. Better than going to Jersey City. They have promotion get small Kesar box when you spend $50. I spent $140, and they gave me 3 Kesar box, even after I said I am ok with one.
It has many choices. Good qualit and very clean
Well stocked, small and clean place.
Indian Store at Lodi. Lots of indian stuff. Enjoyed shopping here.
The first thing you notice at this grocery store is the cleanliness, which most Desi grocery owners dont care about. Their prices are reasonable and customer service is excellent.
Great place to buy indian veges and frozen goods all under one roof
Great local indian grocery store for locals. Pretty much has everything.
Nice staff. Good produce
Came for tahini sauce, this store is clean and orhanized. Not a big store but has all basic seasonings and ingredients for Indian cuisine.
Best place get curry or spices
I would have given it 0 stars if possible but I do not have the option here. It is shocking to visit a grocery store in USA which sells international groceries, specifically Indian grocery and you experience racially biased comments from an employee of the store, you may ask whats the issue. lemme explain what happened.I have shopped from here countless times just because I liked this grocery store very much. Last week I brought a packet of Basmati Rice, I will add a picture of it with description below. When my mother was trying to cook this rice we found stones in the same and the quality of rice is no where close to what we term as Basmati. This morning I went to the store to shop for more items but I forgot to get the rice, its picture or details and as a good Samaritan, I just explained to the female employee of the store what happened. To this she says what can I do about it in a very rude and disrespectful manner. So, I asked can you please give me the contact of the owner so that I can talk to him. Her response You will not get his contact . Then I was like could you please be a little less disrespectful to your customers . Her response We are respectful only towards our GUJRATI customers .That is when I revealed that I am Gujrati myself, which kind of shocked her. I even know Mr. Devendra Patel who is the owner of this store but I have lost his number from my phone. Mr. Patel if you are reading this. Please do leave a comment below, I would like you to address to this matter. I think we have done enough business together and the least that we expect from Shree G store which plays devotional music 24/7 is to treat their customers with some respect no matter what color, race, cast, creed, nationality or language they belong to.This is the worst case of racism that I am putting forward here. I highly suggest look into the matter before there are more unhappy customers and you start losing the business which is already on a downfall. I really want you to understand the pain that we had to go through even thou I have been a loyalty card holder, member of the store and have provided enough of my hard earned money to it. The least I expect is some respect for your customers.Yours Truly,Dr. Hrishi Pathak(Paramus, NJ)
