Terrific service for autogas vehicles at the fuel station in Lodi. Alfonso took great care of us and I will be coming back for more!

Scheduled an appointment online for a trailer hitch to be installed two weeks prior. This location is 40 mins out of town, but had better days of availability for my schedule. This appointment was important for a job i have scheduled later in the month. I arrived for my 4 p.m. appointment to be told their hitch guy isnt there today. Then proceeded to tell me i was supposed to drop my truck off at 7 a.m., then stated i wasnt on the router, then it was i must have just made the appointment, then a part was still on order and hadnt arrived maybe. No phone call to let me know any of this to save me a trip. I dont need much in return, but maybe a I am really sorry that happened. I didnt get upset or act out of sorts, but just received my refund and left wondering how in the world this place runs a business.

You can rent a moving truck here. The prices are reasonable. Truck quality is good. Service... not so much.

I don’t recommend this location at all.The guy was so rude and service was terrible.I returned a truck after used it for 3 hours as cleaned. There was nothing inside but he charged me $25 as 03-cleaning fee intentionally. Even though when I tried to rent a truck he didn’t explain me what I asked about return processing after hours except I need to finish up on mobile and I did that but he charged me $20 as the After hour service fee. Is that making sense to you?I had rented a truck for 23 hours but I returned it back 20 hours earlier it should be better for them could rent the truck again to the other people, isn’t it? Why he did charge me for that even I checked it out on the mobile.Please be honest and don’t rude again your customers.This location is a worst place that I’ve ever seen.

Every time I go here its an awful experience. There is only one person working, they are always busy, and there is no communication. I have came here on 4 different occasions over the last 3 years (this is one of the only moving places locally) and every time I have waited 30+ minutes. I understand its not always the employees fault but this place needs a lot of improvement.

The guy at the counter was very rude when we were asking why we have to physically take a picture of our ID then our personal information is on our phone which is definitely not secure!!! He was rude and said well this isn’t new it’s been like this for 2 years. Now my personal information is on my phone and can get hacked all because of this uhaul store. Customer service was awful

I usually do not post good or bad on reviews...however....I am doing this in the hopes that Lodi Uhaul will improve their terrible service for potential future customers (which wont be me). Please read my letter to them for my reasoning.Wish I could have posted 0 stars!HelloI made an appt for the Lodi Uhaul to install a hitch on my van scheduled for July 9th.I called to make sure the parts were in before the 9th and was told the parts were not in.It was recommended that I make an appt for two weeks out, July 24th, to make sure the parts would have time to arrive.I called 7/23 and was told the part had not yet arrived.I made an appt for 7/30.I tried to call multiple times today,7/29, to be sure the part was in only to get a Uhaul call ctr. She said someone would call me right away and let me know if the part was in. She did not call.I call back only to have my call directed again to a call ctr. I finally asked a friend to please go to Uhaul in Lodi (I live an hour away) and physically find out if the part was in. She called 1st and actually got a customer service person that said the part is not in. My friend asked her to call me. She said she would call right away. Never heard from her.I failed to reach anyone at the Lodi Uhaul to cancel my appt for tomorrow. I hope they let their install guy know he has nothing to install. However that is not my problem.PLEASE CANCEL MY RESERVATION FOR 7/30 AT 11AM.PLEASE REFUND MY DEPOSIT ASAP.I have probably spent 2-3 hrs on hold in my plight to have the hitch installed on my van.Not happy.I will not be using your services again.Please advice when I can expect to see my refund to my credit card.

I noticed my u haul trailer lights were not working so I found the nearest u haul site and asked for help. These guys were great. They replaced the electrical connection and also fixed another issue with the tow hitch, all at no charge. Really great service by people who wanted to make sure I had a safe trip.

In 2013 my husband Jim passed. Sold home and used U Haul for storage .I later found out the realtor Wes Blackwell put my storage in his name .U Haul in Lodi would not let me access my belongings. I had to call back east to main office and threat them with media. Finally they put it back in my name. When I got another place I found 65 Im T V and other belongings gone . Wes Blackwell got back into my storage and ripped me off.U Haul has done nothing to help me. Very disappointed Ive used them for every move . So all ways take pictures of all your belongings.Thank u GERALDI_NE KING

Decent experience and help getting our truck and Ubox. We asked how much fuel our journey would take and the employee told us a quarter talk wouldnt be enough. We used four gallons... Meaning Uhaul netted $20 of free gas. The employee could have chosen not to answer or given us a more accurate estimate. I could understand being slightly off but we were completely mislead.

I rented 10/29/2019 for 2 day local move. Was immediately charged $150.87. Returned 10/31 and agreed to $62.04 for gas. They charged my credit card for $62.04 AND they charged my credit card AGAIN $150.87!!! 15 days later and 3 phone calls with them promising to credit NO CREDIT!! Have now disputed with credit card company. Not Happy* update: it took my credit card company until Feb 5,2020!!!! For U-Haul to resolve. Terrible business practices. Will advise to rent elsewhere

Quick interaction with the employee who refilled our propane tanks.We had to wait a bit while he processed a storage transaction, but he was so nice it was no problem to wait for his chipper personality!We have a small RV/truck camper and went here to fill our propane tanks.It is $3.19 a gallon for propane. Not cheap, but not a terrible price for California.Just glad the worker was nice, quick, and efficient.Not a lot of parking available when we were there, so just know the parking area for visitors, not storage area is small. Large RVs may have trouble getting in/out or finding parking.

Horrible place to rent a Uhaul. I was asked if i needed a dolly and/or furniture pads, twice, to which I said no. After getting to my house to load the Uhaul I find a dolly and furniture pads in the back affixed to the wall of the truck. Now it would have been removed prior to me leaving had they told me they were back there. So I removed them because I needed that space. Now Im being charged for something I told them I didnt want I the first place. The lady says, some of our trucks we cant remove them. So Im thinking, How can people use them if you cant remove them. Stupid. I guess well see what corporate says about this. Ill never go here again and dont recommend any else to either

Wont used this location ever again and I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone. I reserved my in town $19.99 10 foot truck 5 days in advance and was told they had plenty of the 10 footers . Two days before my moving date I received both a text and voicemail telling me I had to go to the Hammer Ln Stockton U-Haul to get my truck! So instead of spending maybe $30 for everything I had to pay over $55! So save yourself the headache and stress and avoid this location all together. Thanks

Ive been here a couple times and not had TOO bad of service, I guess just your typical Uhaul but this last time was so terrible. I rented a trailer to transport a car I was buying and they installed it incorrectly, it was half way on the ball joint. I made it off the lot and it fell off. They then insinuated that it was done right and I mustve done something wrong. They helped me get the trailer up and then walked away and I was left to rehook it to my tow hitch by myself THE RIGHT WAY! Luckily I did it correctly by myself, no thanks to these professionals, and was able to tow my car from Colfax to Lodi safely. Thanks but no thanks Uhaul.

Great place! I was renting a uhaul for the toys for tots. Gentlemen at the place, I feel bad I forgot his name. He helped out and discounted the uhaul. This place has my business for life. Didn’t have to do that, but I greatly appreciate it.

I love this place. The employee are very helpful and friendly and you can refill your propane there as well.

Horrible customer service very unprofessional if you can try to go to another U-Haul. Yelp review shows how horrible this business is. I made an appointment for 8 a.m. 2 days prior to arriving, I show up early they tell me I would need to wait until 8:30 because they overbooked people. I wait and notice them taking people ahead of me so I asked them what was going on and they said they were having issues with the system thats bs I wasnt born yesterday they forgot about me. I finally left over an hour later no apologies its ridiculous how unfair this place is.

Good service they a little over to help us hook up our trailer nice people.

Always have the truck I need and they are friendly and helpful.

I come here to fill up my propane tanks but dont come here if youre in a rush. I have spent 40 plus minutes almost everytime I come. Usually takes the guy 15minutes to come out and help me. Its even worse if you pay in cash because you will wait another 25min for them to get the right person to do a cash transaction.

Roaches and bugs in the truck when we (my wife and I) went to rent. They were incapable of getting a 17ft truck because its being phased out. Then the day before we get the truck, they changed the pickup time to 5 hours later. Cancel if you have a reservation- they will screw you.

To Filling up propane tank no one to help you. Ring the bell outside nobody comes unless you go inside to find out theres nobody to assisting you
