You know, I just called about getting my knives sharpened and Bob answered right away. He is always so helpful. I was actually supposed to write a review a couple of years ago, but failed to do so. Yes, I feel terrible. However, Bob again is always so helpful, along with his staff. They are always respectful and kind. His prices are great on his custom boxes, and to ship an item is always good too. I like how he lets you know what is the best way to ship an item, and when itll get there. I read a review years ago that said Bob is not nice to POC. That is not true in my interactions with him. I am an African American women and this man has been nothing but kind and respectful to me over the years. I just wanted to put that out there because it needed to be said. As my mother always said, You treat people the way you want to be treated and in my case, this usually works out well for me. So, take your items to Bob because they get the job done quickly and efficiently.

Linda the notary and the older guy at the front desk are very rude, condescending and unprofessional. Notary refused us for no real legitimate reason. We came in with 2 credible witnesses as per California notary laws require and stated we both had ID and she said you have to know me personally and I dont know any people like you in an extremely insulting manner. Like I know we werent dressed for a black tie event but dang how rude. Went somewhere else and they did it right away With no issues. Wouldnt recommend this place at all. Called to inform of the bad experience and the front desk called me back several times saying rude things like hes going to report the notary that actually helped us. Go to the other shop save your time

Owner is friendly and efficient, I might even describe him as jolly! He greets you, gets you whatever supplies you need and if you need to step aside to complete your task, he moves on to the next customer--though not in a rude manner. Once youre done, he comes back to complete your transaction attentively. He is engaging and manages his business very well. I am happy to support this small business that puts out a high volume of packages. If youre looking for old fashioned customer service, youll get it here.

Place claims to be FedEx, sign on the building, but wont even scan a FedEx QR code for return shipping. The UPS store in town does a better job and will even tape your box shut, at least for Amazon returns. This place is bad business

This place--and Bob in particular--is great! Talk about excellent customer service and a can do attitude: I needed a form signed by my Dad in Lompoc, but live out of town. Bob walked me thoroughly through the procedure and even called me when the file was ready and sent. He would have personally called my Dad to come in and sign the paperwork, but I had already done this. What a great and personalized experience!

The manager refused to process my Amazon returns with the return codes Amazon provided as returns are no longer “free” unless you utilize the code system. He was very rude and condescending. When I questioned why he was refusing he commented, “Would you like me to slow this down for you”. Zero professionalism and lazy. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I visit family in Lompoc several times a year and always need to ship items home to Illinois and I use The Box Shop exclusively. Ive shipped bottles of wine and delicate glasses and they always make it home on time and unbroken. They will send you an email and you can track your items if youd like. Highly recommend.

So as far as bad experience I cant say that I had one. I paid for a service and it got done. Plain and simple. So all these sensitive people writing bad reviews, yall need to stop with that. Get a life. Right on box shop. Thank you. Merry Xmas.

This really is one of the few businesses focused on the customers and Lompoc in general. The prices and available services are tough to beat.

I like using this business for various needs. But I used it to print a document from their computer and it cost me $2.45 for 3 minutes of connection and 1 page printed. There should be a sign by the computer posting these prices as the store is often busy and I omitted to enquire before using the service. It would have cost me $0.10 at the library a few blocks away. Ouch!

Had to return a TV, and Samsung sent a return label that stated it needed to be shipped back via FedEx. Got the TV over to this store, and found out that there was an issue with Samsung requesting the TV be sent back via FedEx Freight Economy. The gentleman behind the counter, Bob, was incredibly helpful and made a few phone calls in order to help me out, and I am greatly appreciative of his help. Professional, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure that I didnt have to lug that 85+ pound TV back home.

Before any service, they always ask for your phone number so everyone around you can hear your phone number. And than they give you attitude if you dont.You want a mail sent? You got to give them your phone number first.THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR YOUR PRIVACY.The guy rushes you out when there is no other customer.AND MOST OF ALL, COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO PAY DOUBLE THE POST OFFICE PRICE.

When I came in today I waited patiently for my turn. When your register finally became available, you went to assist an employee with another customer without even recognizing my presence. Its the holiday season, i know you are busy, again i waited patiently. After about another 5 minute wait you acknowledged me how can I help you sir, I mean maam. I bring packages in your store often, for 7 yrs now. You never even looked at me, you just laughed along with the customers standing behind me laughing at your faux pas as well. I know I am not the most feminine looking woman on the exterior, but...anyhow, you set the tone for our engagement. You put me in my place from the start. You were in control & you wanted to belittle me for whatever reasons you chose. I have no desire to delve into your fears of strong women. I composed myself after the slight, & inquired about a certain box size to ship sample in. I tried to be cordial. You laughed and asked for more details and proceeded to spray numbers at me as to how more knowledgeable you are than I am in boxology (yes, I know that is not a real word). And if you knew anything about people with dyscalculia (look it up) you would know that numbers can cause extreme anxiety. When I was just about in tears and walking away you said come back, Im only trying to help you. You definitely were not.You are cruel. You are small. A small person who gets their jollys off belittling people. I will never put another dime in your pocket. I suggest the people of Lompoc dont either.
