I accidentally closed my garage door on a ladder causing one side of the door to come off the track. After hours of failed attempts by my neighbor and I trying to fixit ourselves, we gave up and decided to call a professional to fix it. I made a call to Precision Doors to send someone out asap.Michael, showed up at my front door within the hour. He quickly assessed what needed to be done and explained everything thoroughly. He made it look easy but as my neighbor and I can attest to, it’s not. I’m extremely impressed by not only his work but his overall professionalism, you can tell when someone knows their craft and Michael definitely does. Josh from Precision came over and saved the day! Our garage door suddenly stopped working after so many years and it had to be the night before we were scheduled for termite fumigation the next morning. It was around 6pm and we didn’t know who can fix our door in time. Somehow my wife saw Precision on google and gave them a call and we got an appointment at 10pm. I started having issues with my opener for the last couple of months, working on and off. I called precision to come out and take a look at my door and give me a quote to replace it. Technician Michael, changed out both the springs and opener and it works perfectly now. He also programmed my car to open the new opener, very professional service.

I was very happy with Precision Doors service today. I had a broken torsion spring. Tyson came to my home and explained to me what he was going to do, he suggested replacing both springs as usually if one spring goes the second one is not far behind. In agree to his recommendation. He took great care to not disturb my kids as they were active with in home learning. Tyson explained what he was doing as he proceeded to each step. It took him about an hour to replace both springs. He then checked that the door was balanced and made minor adjustments. When Tyson finished my door was like brand new! No more creaking as it opened. He also noticed the previous door company had used the wrong springs on my door. Now my door is quiet and opens smoothly. If I ever need service again I’ll be sure to call Precision Door and ask for Tyson.

Here is the funny thing, Mike came over to inspect my garage door opener and was able to really walk me through the issue. I ultimately bought a new garage door opener and I am so in love with all of the features and how much more efficient it is. Mike gets 5 stars and an A+. I have been with this company since 2010 and they have never let me down.

Eddy did a great job repairing my garage door.My only suggestion would be for the phone operators. They should be able to give a more accurate price for the service. I was quoted approximately 99$-149$ for spring replacement, when the mechanic arrived the price was 399$-700$.

The techs that arrived were Raul & Alex. These two guys were great ... very professional, informative and polite. They were able to do maintenance service on my garage door that started acting up by bouncing back up after I closed it. They were able to provide me with a new remote to replace and old one and reprogram it for me. And finally after changing my exterior keypad with several new batteries, they were able to install a new one for me and taught me how to change my passcode. I definitely will call Precision for my future garage door needs.

Our garage door spring broke unexpectedly and we needed the repairs done fast.Id seen ads for Precision Garage Doors on KTLA, and when our usual go to garage door company couldnt come out for 5-6 days, we needed an option.I called Precision at 2:00 in the afternoon, and they were able to schedule a tech between 4:30 and 8:30 same day.We got a call from our tech Tyson at 6:25 and he advised he was 5 minutes away from our house.Upon arrival (wearing a mask and practicing appropriate social distancing/COVID protocols) he got set up right away, assessed the problem and got to work.Tyson was courteous, professional and respectful. He explained what he was going to do prior to doing the work (kudos for that) and updated me with what was needed to complete the necessary repairs.Once he was done, he cleaned up the work area and left the garage in good shape.I would not hesitate to have Tyson out again if needed for any repair/service work on our garage door.The cost did seem a bit steep, but given the situation and urgency of getting the garage door repaired, I guess thats the trade off between getting it done sooner (at a premium) vs. later (with time to shop for a bargain).However, pricing issues are a discussion between myself and the Precision office team.For me, this was a positive customer experience and I now have a second go to vendor for garage door repair/maintenance.
