Wow Gene, you really take the cake. I’ll say this, you and your guys are very good at fixing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles. All of your work on my two cars has always been A+.What you are not good at is being professional and setting proper expectations. You raised your voice at us because we just wanted to know when we could expect to have our car back. You said we need to see things from your point of view because your have 30 freaking cars waiting to be serviced. Hey buddy, I dropped my car off the day before and placed my first call 28 hours later, because I needed to know how to proceed with my workday the next day. I can’t just rent a vehicle in the meantime for an endless period of time. I called again three hours later and I was told my car was next. Then I call again and it’s still outside where I parked it the day before. A little bit of communication goes a long way, Gene. Be straight and say it won’t be ready and that’s ok and I can make arrangements earlier in my day so I can leave you alone.You wanted us to see things from your point of view and when we attempted to show we understand you’re busy but that we’d appreciate better communication you told us we were done and that we could take our car. I have a business and know it sucks to deal with an unhappy customer but I would never raise my voice at them.Very smooth, Gene. Hope you get a bigger shop and more guys because obviously you’re busy. I just won’t ever go back after today.

I have a 2007 Honda Odyssey with over 230,000 miles. I’m the original owner and have always taken it to the Honda Dealership for any service related needs. This time was different, though. It was in early March just before lockdown and I really needed to get the oil leak fixed because it was getting worse.When the dealership called me with a quote to repair the oil leak I was surprised that the repair was going to cost so much. So I was curious to see what other shops would cost.So I called the Honda Doctor just to get a second opinion and they quoted me a price that was about $400 cheaper than the dealership.I took the vehicle over to the Honda Doctor and they was able to fix the leak and without the long wait that I became accustomed to at the dealership.The owner is a great guy running a great shop!Thank you, Honda Doctor!You earned my business. From now on I will be bringing my Odyssey to you for all of my repairs and I highly suggest you do too!

This was my first time going there for repairs. I went because of a recommendation from a colleague--I had a problem with my a/c that my usual shop didnt want to touch (had something to do with it being a hybrid). Im very happy about the way things worked out. They fixed the problem for a reasonable price, in a timely manner, and were reliable and straightforward. I will definitely go there again.

Great service. I needed my headlight replaced, and they guy was more than helpful. He told me the cost to do the one headlight, but recommended doing both since there one was faded and dull. Gave me a great price to replace both, and kept me informed throughout the process. I will take my car there before going anywhere else due to price, quality, and service.

I searched high and low over several months for someone to loosen a stubborn front crankshaft bolt.After a dozen unsuccessful tries by my normal mechanic & a few other well known shops around town, I found the Honda Doctor on Google.I took the car to him this morning and it took him all of 10 seconds to release the bolt.I wish I could afford to let him do the full repair for me so I can see if he truly lives up to his name 😏 but for now hes good in my book.Great vibe and very personable.

Just stopped by as I had water coming in on the drivers side floor of my 1999 Honda Accord and was sure it was from all the crud built up from leaves which collect under the windshield as I had had the sunroof drainage checked out already - well, it turns out that was the problem - tube at bottom loose. Gene corrected it and off we go. Just so courteous and a pleasure to talk to. No trouble to check it out - a decent human being exists for your car.........go there folks you will not regret it. Awesome guy! Fixed my ABS system at a very reasonable price, less than I expected. However, what really stood out was his customer service. I asked him about quality painters in the area, and he recommended DB Kustoms down the street (who also turned out to be fantastic). When I came to pick up my car, he had already gotten an estimate for me! There was even a small discount for the paint job! He went far beyond my expectations and his obligations to make sure I was satisfied. You can tell he has a passion for his work and wants to please his customers. I cant recommend him enough!

I brought my Cadillac with an electrical problem to Gene because he said he could fix anything. It was improperly diagnosed, and I brought it back three times (one time the car was delivered with pieces of the interior still apart). He said he could not repair the electrical problem, which I forgave, but when I noticed my AC suddenly stopped working, I brought it back again. He said he recharged it at no charge and that it was blowing cold. When I later tested it, however, it did not turn on at all. Then when I asked him to actually fix it, he got offended and dismissed me as a customer. He said he was simply not interested anymore. I paid over $250 for nothing to be resolved plus now I have no a/c. Very unprofessional and incompetent.

I just picked up my 2007 Honda Civic this morning from The Honda Doctor. We had to have our A/C totally redone and it works perfectly. The Honda Doctor gave me a good price, half of what the dealership wanted ( a little more than $1,100 ). Gene gave me a rundown of each item priced ( some parts as a kit which is cheaper ) as well as labor cost. Gene also checked the A/C on our 2003 Suzuki XL7 ( which two other mechanic shops said that the compressor needs to be replaced at around another $1,000.00 ) which turned out to need only a $40 relay switch. He saved us a tremendous amount of money and unneeded repairs by other shops. Honda Doctor, I give you 6 STARS******. GREAT JOB GUYS!

The Honda Doctor fixed my 2009 Odysseys air conditioning, changed the oil and transmission fluid, fixed the TPMS and finally fixed the door that would never close right, all for the same cost as what the big local dealership was wanting to charge me just to look at my car!Our family just arrived for a winter getaway from Toronto, and we were just lucky enough to have our AC die close enough to the best Honda repair place EVER. I had a very tough time with a JDM engine swap in my neck of the woods (Boca Raton) and was referred to Gene to finish the job the other shop had started and could not complete. Despite a 210 mile trip one way, I decided to commit to having him do the work and that turned out to be a very wise and rewarding choice. I had to make multiple trips to complete the work, but found the drive a good chance to get away and also forge a meaningful long distance business relationship at the same time. Gene made some recommendations on how to extend performance and longevity of the vehicle and priced the work at a very reasonable rate. He is the most skilled mechanic I have ever come across - period. He is honest, offers varying options on fix strategies, and completely leaves it up to you to decide. There is no pressure whatsoever, I got a written estimate on all work ahead of time. He did a wonderful job in a seldom exhibited trait - CPU tuning. I now have a car that is faster, gets far better gas mileage, and will last me for more years to come. Gene sent me photos of my parts, and progress as it occurred to keep me in the loop and texted updates as well. I love my 1996 Honda Prelude and thanks to Gene it will be running in feisty fashion for years to come. Despite the distance, any work that is more than basic will have me heading north. I truly hope his business continues to grow and prosper, and am very thankful to have been referred to him.

They are not honest at all. That was my first visit to them. I explained that I had no good experience with Mechanis. He was like you will feel the difference, after some chatting with the owner, Gene, decided to drop off the car and he will diagnose and call me BEFORE any repairs done. At 7:00 pm he called and said that he has finished fixing the car. And it will cost $210. Which included compression test which wasnt needed. Next day went to his shop. I asked him for a report or document for that test and there was none. He said he had to change the distributers cap and rotor because there was a missing screw, and he changed the spark plugs because they were soaked in fuel???!!!! the whole distributer and the plugs were cahnged less than two month ago. They are like all other greedy deceitful mechanics.
