Sold our couch that was already paid for, and marked not to be sold, employees were rude, and at one point called me fat... They said they dont know where the couch went and that its not my job to know where merchandise went... Heated words followed and the manager gave us a floor model that was horribly stained after refusing to give us a refund... I wouldve given 0 stars, but then I couldnt share this horror story of a shopping experience with yall

Its busy because of Christmas but the customer service is still outstanding. I was having trouble getting a coupon to load on my phone and the cashier assisted me and was able to find a coupon for the same percentage off at their store and ring it up for me so that I still got the discount.

Went in for water on sale... they were out but found $60 worth of other bargains ! Their new line of furniture is amazing! Might have to buy myself a new recliner !

They have alot of discounted clothes on sale right now. Got a nice super mario shirt for my son for $5 and they have a big selection.

They have a good selection of items. They have neat bathroom decorations. They remodeled their restrooms they are nice. It was pretty cold in the store so dress warm. Thats why I gave them a 4 and not 5.

I appreciate they are accepting SNAP benefit as some of their food item prices are low!

I had picked up some items that were supposed to be on Clearance/ SALE and when I got home and checked my receipt not one item that had been supposedly on SALE was marked. All items had rung up regular price and I was charged regular price!!!! I cant get back to the store to show them the errors because my ride there and back is now working. These people need to make sure that if a summer item is marked clearance then Mark it on both the item and in the computer system. I spent almost $116.00 dollars there and I felt that I had been taken advantage of!!! I didnt check as the cashier was scanning because there were many items and I was in a hurry. PLEASE WATCH OUT FIR THESE SO CALLED CLEARENCE SALES!!!!

I was a huge fan before the remodel. Some of the products that I liked they seem to no longer carry. They still do have some great prices on certain items like curtains and miscellaneous kitchen items. Also, the slightly damaged furniture could be a bit of a lower price considering some of the damage I’ve seen. It might help move product faster.

Although they were in the middle of stocking shelves and busy the staff was super friendly and polite. They all asked if I needed help. The store was a little messy but with stock it was understandable. The prices were very reasonable. I love this store they usually have good deals on a lot of different things. But your everyday things are usually cheaper there.

Tom is the furniture manager and he is fantastic!! Love the workers. They are so nice and helpful.Edit:After two months we had to return the furniture. It was broke down like we had it for years. Tom is still great but the furniture sucks!!

I love big lots, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and if your in the market for new furniture they have a great selection. They also offer financing so it helps especially if your on a budget. Ill definitely continue to shop with them.

These doors are pretty much the same everywhere. Lots of great items at decent prices. Im especially fond of the plastic storage containers, the Ziploc-type and trash bag, the laundry supplies, and kitchen supplies. Sometimes items found here are from companies trying to get off the ground, and other times things are close out items. In both cases, youll want to grab the items when you see them as they may not be there the next time you visit Big Lots. Ive gotten several gluten-free items including some from Bobs Red Mill.

Love this store. I can almost always find just what I go in for and then some. With the new renovations the store is lovely and so bright.

It has changed a lot, not a lot of food items, I could always go there before and find all kinds of stuff, they dont even have bread anymore,looks more like a furniture store ! I was disappointed !

Big Lots has changed a lot over the years but still a good store for affordable items. Better in many ways. I havent tried their furniture buy Ive heard its good quality for the price.

Such a variety in one place. Pliers in one isle, spaghetti sauce in another... then a short walk across the store and you have furniture, childrens toys, clothing... and the list goes on. Great one stop shopping!

I am an avid shopper at Big Lots in Lorain and Elyriia. They have everything you need in one store. I like the convenience of one stop shopping. With my busy schedule this makes my life much easier. From health and beauty, to anything you need for your home. I love their food section as well. Many different things that you dont see just anywhere. Their pet section is the greatest. We have a new puppy and they have the food he likes for a price that is so cheap it is not even funny. So today I went and bought him 42 cans for 13.00. You tell me where are you going to find a deal like that! No place but Big Lots!

I usually get games from there. You know, the ones that kids arent allowed to play. But anyways, yeah its pretty good.

Always find what I need. Helpful cashier. it would be great that we will be able to sometime in the future pay our bill at the register.

Big lots has a lot of cheap goods at good prices. Watch the food for expiration dates. The furniture is nice and they offer layaways.

Big lots is pretty good if you came a long way from when it was big and small lots you can find just about anything in there its not continuous though its not like youre going to find that every time you go in there but I mean if its good I would recommend going there

Went to look for something to get my mother for her birthday and the employees followed me everywhere from the second I walked in. It was so obvious and rude. Ill never return. Im a normal clean hard working man who was just treated like a thieving thug

Their furniture is trash. We just moved to Lorain and bought a new living room set for the house. A little over a month and the coach stitching is falling apart on all 3 pieces. Just avoid this place all together and spend your money with a real warranty(better than 30 days) items.
