Had my Stinger Elev8 head unit replaced on my 2021 GMC Conversion Van because it was giving me problems. Everyone I interacted with was great! Dropped by to show them the head unit and the gentleman at front desk scheduled me for the next day and gave me a quote. Took my 1991 Honda Prelude Si to Unique Audio where it was for over a month. Had a situation and thought “great here we go” BUT thankfully Unique Audio has a professional, honest, and very knowledgeable manager/ installer by the name of Pat. He alone turned around what otherwise would’ve been a really expensive and horrible experience into one that would have me here recommending him because of his expertise and understanding of the need for customer service satisfaction and professionalism - especially now a days.Thanks Pat & happy holidays. Called for a radio installation on my Pontiac. Hector told me I could come in that moment which was unexpected and very convenient for me. It’s a beautiful store and the pricing was fair, and I was told it would be about an hour and a half til the car was finished. Hector finished in only about an hour and did an amazing job managing fitting the radio with the pieces I gave him. Could not have asked for an easier day with a better outcome. Thanks so much guys.

Hector was so helpful and the shop owner are the best I’ve experienced in help with car audio. I showed up on the spot they took time out of their work schedule and fixed my issue. AWSOME and totally professional Hector is the man👍🏽👍🏽 Made a appointment and going to have more work done.

I got a quote of $350 over the phone for ceramic tinting, but when I brought my car in for the appointment they told me it would be $500. I opted for a non-ceramic option instead and left my car. A few hours later, when the car was supposed to have been finished they called to tell me they don’t have the tint I requested. Not sure what their problem is here but they gave off a scammy/disorganized impression. It’s less convenient but I’ll find a more trustworthy shop.

Best experience possible. I have an older 2002 car I just needed what I referred to as entry level speakers. The whole crew there was awesome from explaining what they could do and how long and a fair price. They scheduled me for 2 days later and installed front and back speakers. Now my drive to work isnt boring......I lovey new speakers and will send anyone I can to this location. They are fair, honest and quick...what else could you ask for...hope this review makes your decision easier.

I wouldve given these guys five stars, but they dont care of how they work around vehicles that are not their own (personal) vehicles. I brought in my brand new vehicle for a tint and within an hour and a half, they managed to chip the finish off the passenger door handle and the door, with a tiny dent as well. Come on guys (Unique staff)....people care about their vehicles too.

After making a one week in advance appointment I was told they could do the simple light and speaker work I requested. 2 days later I was given 4 to 5 different excuses why they couldnt do any of my work. They held my car for 3 days wanted to charge me 800 and did nothing! Be aware stay clear

Recently had a myriad of services rendered at Unique Sounds. I went on recommendation from another client who was pleased with the work.I will be returning and hopefully can refer friends of mine over as well. People who understand how to modify cars are truly difficult to find.

This place is extremely professional and good at what they do. I was highly impressed by the interior of the shop when I walked in. It has an upscale feel to it with a race car touch. The techs are extremely friendly and gave me an upfront price for everything I asked about. Pat, the front desk guy, knew everything I asked about. I went in to ask questions and ended up buying a Viper car alarm for my wifes SUV. And they got it done the same day. I highly recommend you find this shop and use them. They service a lot of military clients and they work with everybody. Ill be back for my window tint.

I had a great experience with Unique Audio. I brought in an 05 Subaru that had some speaker problems (as in 3 out of 4 of them didnt work anymore). I spoke with Pat. He was both friendly and professional. He was respectful of the fact that I didnt want to spend a lot of money on an older car just used for getting from point A to B, but also showed me the nicest stuff I could get and still keep the cost close to where I wanted it.They had completed the job quickly and at a fair price. Im really happy with the work they did. Highly recommended!

I first brought my truck here a year ago & the guys did everything they could think of to fix my drop down DVD player...they did their best but eventually it died & needed to be replaced...the day before we drove to Fl! The guys were AWESOME & got us in w custom cover for the hole in the ceiling left by the d machine. Brought it back today for a stereo issue. Had issues getting there & the guys were super understanding, got my truck in & fixed the issue...ALWAYS pleasant and over the top accommodating. I will only take my trucks to Unique Audio for AV work!

Mike at Unique Audio was great! Got my vehicle in within a day and gave me an estimate on the phone that was the same price when he was done. The work was top notch and he always had time to explain or show the work. I had a remote starter, amplifier and subwoofer installed. I have already referred a friend for his paint and car wraps are awesome.

I inquired about dash cam installation to many locations in the DMV area and the guys here really grabbed my attention with the reasonable price and accomodation. At least $100 lower than 7 locations I have called in DMV area.I installed the dash cam on my bmw mini cooper and they did such an amazing job setting up the camera and organizing the wire. They will work with any brand car with care. When I wanted to make a small modification on my dash cam even after the installation, they worked on it with integrity and without any charge quickly. These guys are very professional and will work with you to get things done in your car.They also have a secured lot and indior garage for the work and very clean and huge waiting area while waiting with the tv and sofas.I definitely recommend this place to anyone that I know after trying multiple places in northern virginia area. I am already coming back after the winter to get the window tinting done and other future electrical needs.

They did an excellent job installing my HID lights!Very Clean and still working no problems 2 years and counting.Had them install my Viper 5901V LCD remote systemThey even got my heated seat to turn on when other people said they couldnt. I have L5 disc back pains and this was very important for me.

I took my truck to upgrade the speakers, add a subwoofer and amplifier, I am definitely happy with the sound and the installation, also I put some cameras for the rear and front, Pat will give you all the information you need, ask them anything and they will answer it, very professional.

Got my my wifes Avalon windows tinted here about a year ago and they still look perfect. There are not ripples, sheens, bubbles or anything of the sort. They did such a good job it looks like the actual glass is tinted and didnt use film. Best tint job Ive gotten.

What a wonderful experience. Great pricing, less than I was afraid it would be. Not only did they install my new head unit and backup camera, but were able to repair the connection plug for my OBD2 sensor, and replace my broken cup holder unit with a new one I brought with me. Great job. Very attentive. Left the truck cleaner that it has been in years!

The work is excellent.The owner was very helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions regarding the window tint.I also had some questions regarding the installation of an upgraded headunit in my vehicle and again the owner took the time to patiently answer my questions.I would reccomend this shop.

One word, AMAZING! These guys know what they are doing and talking about. From Pat to Lou to Mike and so on, they all know their stuff, and they specialize in customizing your car in the best way possible.I went to multiple shops to do my research on installing a decent sound system in my 2014 Lexus IS 350 F sport. Every other shop could install what the folks at Unique Audio can, but when it comes to service, knowledge, and overall approach, Unique Audio wins. Mike convinced me to go with Audiofrog GS line + JL Fix 86 along with my Alpine PDX-V9 amp, and I am glad I did, its awesome! Unique Audio did all this very professionally, and walked me through the whole thing step by step, and they taught me few things on the way as well. I have gone back few times to have few things tweaked, and they have done so without charging me a dime. They are not in it for the quick buck, but to have long term loyal customers, and believe me, not too many businesses do this approach these days.They have earned a loyal customer, so I will definitely be coming back for more!Side note: I see some people having a bad experience with Unique Audio, which sucks, but for what its worth, some times they do get overwhelmed by heavy traffic. I would just make sure to reach back to them, and let them know about it.... they will take good care of you, I can vouch for that %100.

Nice showroom, pat and lou seemed knowledgable. Giving 3 stars, maybe should be 1, because they never followed up with me. I talked to them in person about a remote starter. They were going to call multiple times to follow up with a price, but never did even though I called 2x after meeting with them. If you cant do the work, fine, just tell me. Saying youve been super busy is fine once, but not again after I call to find out what the answer is. Ill be happy to update this review if I ever hear back from them.

I went in to get 2 12s for my ZL1 Camaro, one of the techs suggested 3 8s instead. From the time I finally agreed to go with 8s until I heard the final product I was nervous...like seriously was thinking it wasnt going to be what I wanted, but I wanted to trust the professional...a week later I went in, and before I could even hear anything I was floored by the design of the box. The thought and craftsmanship that went in tothis box is way above the price I paid! It was love at first sight! The sound as well blew me away. I would never imagine 8s hitting that hard, now its fun having guys guess what i have then showing them and watching there reaction. Theres only one song that doesnt hit the way i wanted, (Bobby V Miss Anonymous) lol Ill never hear that song the way it was played for me by the man himself Mr Timberland in his ride. These guys are great to work with, and have competitive prices on most services they offer. Im taking my truck to them next!!

I was impressed with the customer service at first.I was greeted with a smile and a hand shake from the business owner asked what I needed done and was quoted a fair price on a satellite radio install into my OEM unit. I had done my research and had the correct part for my vehicle. It couldnt have been more than 15 minutes with my vehicle and the tech guy tells me you got the wrong part and goes to the product web site and tells me I need additional parts? I was given a very brief explanation and a shrug of his shoulders and that was it. As I walked out I just thought to myself looks like they dont need my money . Im surprised that no effort was made to show me how/why the part wouldnt work or that no solution was offered to the problem....so I email the product tech support was assured that Ive got the correct part for my vehicle. In todays cut throat economy and with the decreasing amount of disposable income a person has to spend Im surprised by any business that wouldnt try to go the little bit extra to get it right . Whats ironic is that Im looking to upgrade/ modify the audio systems in both my vehicles and was willing to spend some of my hard earned money....looks like Ill be spending my money elsewhere.

Damaged existing circuit breaker, yanked out existing alarm wires, and killed my battery during installation. Very careless!

They evidently dont need any new business right now. I emailed them twice (the first time was three business days ago) and havent gotten a response.
