Not much Halloween stuff since It will be 6 days til Halloween.Some what disappointed.

I asked one of the employees for advice on a project we were planning on doing around the house and he gave not only a detailed and comprehensive answer, but also gave us advice for products and corrected some of the mistakes we would have made. Overall a fantastic experience. Also they have an amazing selection of Halloween decorations.

Great selection on anything you need for arts and crafts. This particular store was well stocked and even had paracord supplies wich I have not found in other Michaels stores in other cities Ive traveled to. Definitely will visit this store again.

Coffee was decent and French toast was really good. Crab royal was a bit of a miss. The bacon didn’t go well with the other flavors and overpowered it.

The store is always clean and very organized. The employees are not the nicest, but will ultimately assist you if you need something. Make sure to check online for coupons before coming. Most of the time you can get at least 20% discount.

Michaels has a wide variety of craft supplies. Reasonable prices. Sales team are extremely nice and helpful.

First time making a purchase online, decided to do curbside pickup instead of delivery. When I got there I was a little lost so I called and got directions. I drove up to the last floor and notified them that I was there. When the associate came outside with my order I had a hard time finding for the barcode used to verify that I had purchased said order. It was no problem. The associate was patient and polite. So I consider that a very pleasant experience!

Clean, organized and easy to find what you need. If youve got a specific craft in mind the staff is ready to help you find what you need.

Theres no better store to go to for almost anything related to art, home decorating etc they have the best prices as well. Typically we get coupons via email however most of the supplies are already marked at a really good price. Some are up to 70%. Also every time you check out you get another coupon printed on your receipt (40% sometimes 60% to use on one item) .The fact that some are even $1 -$3 its just impossible walking out without grabbing over 20 items at time. Store is super clean, organized and they are always available to assist on the floor. Check it out FALL season decorations are already here (Id say Halloween is ready for you to).Definitely the best place to bring your little ones as they have so many things for kids as well including art classes.Must mention the fact that theres plenty parking inside the mall structure 3 floors) after all this is Japan Town LA very popular spot with great Asian restaurants all around so once youre exhausted from shopping you can enjoy a nice relaxing break at restaurant :)

Abundance of inventory one of the best arts and crafts stores

I used to love Michaels, but they changed around the store drastically! Another complaint from me..& sorry ..I cant figure out why a craft store wouldnt sell sand paper ?? But sell various home goods that are pre made, a bit useless, & expensive. Michaels changed pretty much👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻🤯

Wide selection of craft materials. Easy parking. The only downsides are:1) theres always a long line to check out2) coupons have gotten worse over the years, and they dont accept competitor coupons.

I called and asked if they had contact cement, the representative did not know what it was, and hung up. I called a nearby store, and the phone line was not good - the representative got board and left me on hold.Amazon gets it done - these small retailers dont train their employees - so they dont have what is needed - even if it is a popular item. Bad management closes retailers - not Amazon. My first experience with Michaels will be my last. Cancel.

Love grabbing emergency supplies or using the coupon on diabolic amounts of tye dye for my dream catchers. I can literally get lost in the store for hours and hours and hours. For some reason I dont even remember now what I went in there in the first place, but ended up spending 2 hours picking out fake flowers because they look so real and beautiful. Oh I remember now! I went in there for quilling supplies, not quilting, but quilling, and to be honest was rather disappointed that 4 out of the 5 employees that I asked if they had or where their supplies for quilling were and not a single one of them had a clue of what I was talking about. Oh well. Dont get me wrong Michaels is great but Joanne sometimes its just better for other items that you might possibly need.

Felt very clean and organized. For COVID purposes they only let a certain number of customers inside. Plenty of parking. Overall no complaints.

I searched other Michaels, bakery n treat section shelves were bare n empty.This Michaels, in WLA, was fully stocked n had the edible candy diamonds I needed!!!

This location is well stocked, with the exception of The Happy Planner supplies. They do not have the same selection as some of the stores in the outlying areas. It may be due to local demographics. The store is clean. The staff are very courtesy, but there is no customer access to the restroom due to Covid. Fortunately, the Marshalls downstairs has a restroom for customers. There is off street free parking and restaurants on the first floor of the shopping center. The weekends tend to be busier, and you may have to wait in a line to get in the store during the pandemic.

I could spend a whole day in here! Great location, park all the way at the top level. Lower level is full of idiots who cant drive very well.

I went to Michaels to buy items to wrap my Christmas presents, like every year I do, but this year, as a surprise, I was attended by Sarah in the payment area, which is a perfect addition, she is sweet as a cashier, very difficult to find, it makes your experience as a whole get better. Its a decent location. Parking is easy but the aisles were messy and lots of stuff was either misplaced or out of stock. The staff were super nice and helpful which offset the bad stuff though.

I HAVE MIXED EMOTIONS. I love the store and the staff. However, i have been waiting for an easy press 2 in 6x7 and 9x9. 3 times i had it held for pick up and 3 times they were gone when i got there. I tried again yesterday. The young man said he had both and was putting my name on them. They manager told me they were given to someone else. That was #4. Not good. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

This is THE place to go if you are looking for authentic Japanese gifts for a housewarming, New Years, basically anytime decorative gift. Been coming here since I was a little kid, but never appreciated it until much later. Im in my 40s now and live out of town, but I come whenever I need a good gift. The staff here are top notch!

Great place for my last minute craft making. They recently moved the aisles around, but I was able to find what I need. Located on the third floor. You can park all the way to the roof for convenient entry. (free parking!)

Nice to have a Michaels in West LA. Big store. Lots of stock. There was a long line when I was there and only two checkers. One was caught up with a customer, so all of us were waiting on one teller to help us. Thankfully he was able to move fast instead of a slow checker or Id been in line even longer than 20 minutes.

No lie: I mostly come here for the parking. But whenever I head into Michaels it becomes an exercise in self-restraint. So much good stuff! Plus, my daughter loves it too.

It makes me give you one star! This is listed as main offices. My complaint is online and terrible customer service you guys have. You treat customers like trash.. make them wait days for call back.. and cancle orders with no explanation. Shop joanns!!

Long lines, too pricey

The store is huge and well stocked with a good selection of budget options for any crafty undertaking. I think this location is either understaffed or staffed by ninjas, though, because it can be kind of hard to find an associate on the floor. That said, when you get a hold of one, theyre all very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about making sure your visit is a success. Great store; Im sure Ill come again.

This Michaels is usually full of great stuff, now about 35% of it is all halloween and 10% christmas which had to have moved all the things i used to go there for.

5 star customer service

Always love going here just to walk around and soak up new things to try. I’m into woodworking, and I wish they carried more slabs. Never had a problem with staff, but the couple orders I placed online for here for in store pickup got cancelled.

Waited in like for Curbside pick up for about 30-40 min. When I called the store and asked why are they taking so long, the employee was extremely rude and said “we’re just standing around”. The manager did not care about the Employee being rude. Would not recommend going here, staff is rude and long wait times.

Great place to get arts and crafts material. It’s a busy store on the top level of the building. The employees who walk around are not really helpful. The person who was helping me out today told me to wait and then was helping others who had asked questions after me so I had to find the things myself after 10 minutes of waiting.

Not crowded and had a really good sale on crafts for my 8yr old son.

I spent 4hrs here once just looking at every single type of craft they sold and comparing prices online. I ended up not buying anything but the coolest part was that I didnt get followed by any workers for browsing. I asked a few workers questions about items that didnt have prices and they were happy to help. They had a great sale going on too where all easels were 50% off.

Love Michaels Craft Store. One stop shop for all of my creatively inspired projects including baking and decorating for Christmas. I found a vintage inspired suitcase box that doubles for my writing supplies stationary sets, Calligraphy pen & ink and greeting cards. This suitcase box is a decorator item I am sure to get compliments on. I found all of the supplies I needed to make cake pops everything I need including cellophane treat bags and twist ties and the lollipop sticks. I found a set of paint brushes made exclusively for the kitchen for customer decorating my dipped cake pops. I finished off my day with Christmas tree decorations that are so unique my tree is now one of a kind.and they are 50% off right now. Unbelievable pricing. I couldnt be happier with this Store.

Clean, organized store. Knowledgeable staff. The wait time for custom framing is what I take a star off for but thats only because they only have 2 people at a time working the station. Otherwise, great experience.

I am from out of town so it took me a minute to find the store. Once I figured out how to get into the building (the entrance not being on the street that it is addressed) and made it to the third floor, I was presented with a very nice Michaels. It is dense and extremely well stocked. Parking is meters on the street. There is an elevator and escalator. It was the end of September and the fall decorations were out and abundant.

Michaels is great. Even if youre not looking for something in particular, you will surely find something you can use. Ive gone in there with no real purpose other than to wander around and browse but left with a whole bunch of really cool things and lots of ideas. I thought it was just good for crafts which is not really my thing, but they have so much more! I never leave empty-handed.

All the Christmas Items was 70% off. The store was organized and clean. The line was long but checkout was quick.
