They are a family-owned business that isnt in the business of ripping you off. They gave me the best quote for a quick repair of my tail light and front bumper. Where at one body shop I was quoted over $500, Crown did the same work in 10 minutes at half the price. I cannot emphasize this enough: get your car checked out at this place. Forget your dealership. Theyll overprice you and charge you just for looking at the car. Crown Coachworks is my favorite place to go get my car fixed now. Check them out!

I damaged my bumper and came here for a quote. Very nice, clean reception office area which was a very good first sign. Got the quote and they said they could start the work the following day, which they did. To my surprise they finished a day early and the work was impeccable, the paint blended perfectly with the rest of my car! Eyal made that decision easy. They fixed the damage quickly, to perfection and at a fair price, so I decided to take care of it on my own. Walked into their office to get a free estimate. Stood there for 5 minutes, no one came to talk to me.There were two people on the phone on what sounded like a sales call. No one signaled to me to wait. One of them got off the phone and just continued to work on her computer, didn’t acknowledge me or anything.If this is how a potential customer is treated, I don’t want to know how they treat you when you’ve already paid them and are at their mercy. I walked right out and found another option (of which there are many).

Plus the parts, labor, and paint have warranties. Crown Coach did an amazing job in restoring my vehicle, even down to the touch of lining the cup holder with a foam base. With their attention to detail, they even cleaned the engine and detailed the entire vehicle.Since Crown Coach restored my 22 year old SUV, several people have asked about buying it from me. My 2010 Toyota Highlander was caught in a 4-car accident with my SUV catching the brunt of the impact. I was struck by an older Lexus and, naturally, the owner did not have insurance (big surprise). Thank G-D for my Uninsured Motorist coverage. The owner had just got off a graveyard shift and, basically, just fell asleep. Fortunately, no one was hurt but both front and rear bumpers, rear hatch and everything under the rear bed including the spare tire, mag wheel and all associated hardware was completely ripped out. Nothing like being rear ended while standing still by a car traveling between 35-40 MPH. Surprisingly, my SUV was still driveable. Thanks Toyota!!After looking at the damage to my SUV, I knew there was only one body shop to go to. Crown Coachworks Auto Body and Paint on Sepulveda in west Los Angeles. Ive used Crown before and have never been disappointed. Crown Coachworks is run by a father and son (Jacob and Eyal) who truly care about the quality and craftsmanship in every step of the repair process. It took a little over three weeks to complete all the repairs to my SUV but the wait was SO worth it. When I picked up my SUV it looked as though it had just been washed and detailed. It truly looked better than new. The final bill was just over 9K and was worth every dime. Crown Coachworks is not one of the least expensive of repair shops youll find but you most definitely get what you pay for. You may find some repair shops who charge less but less is exactly what youll get. And again, the owners really care and after working them you almost feel repair like family. They keep you abreast of all the various steps including metal and glass repair, painting and final touches. And yes, they actually return calls, emails and texts which is very unusual these days. When you drive by and see high end cars like Rolls Royce, Porsche, Lamborghini and Mercedes Benz being repaired, You just know this is the place to go.Gee. Elay and crew worked very hard to make sure my car was in tip top shape after an accident I had. They communicated every step and their work was perfect. The best place in the world. I arrived at 6:45pm, which I found later that they were supposed to close at 6pm. They fixed my two car lights in less than ten minutes without charging me. My car got scratched up by a homeless guy, so they gave me a quote after I submitted pictures online (very very reasonable), and then had my car ready ahead of schedule (in less than 2 days!). My car is as good as new, and although I hope I dont have any more issues, I know if I do I will be well taken care of.

This place is great.I took my car to several shops and not only was Crown Coachwork’s estimate the least expensive, it was also the most complete. Amazing customer service. The owner takes care of his employees and his customers like no other business owner Ive met. Hes not there to sell you anything and he only suggests whats best. The entire right corner of my front bumper had scuff marks all over it and I thought it was going to cost me at least $300. The owner looked at, went and grabbed a cloth and some solution and wiped/scrubbed the area for a good 10 minutes and then added some touch up paint on the areas that wouldnt come off. I was out of there in 15 minutes. And the best part? He didnt charge me a cent. He also invited me to eat lunch there, as the entire company was having some type of a pot luck.Also, a few months ago when I wrecked my girlfriends front bumper, I took it there and they did a STELLAR job with it. Theres a reason this guy is still in business after 22 years.

So many auto shops make you feel like youre getting exploited. Not here. These guys are wonderful. Their prices are fair, their work is great quality, and theyll be very honest and tell you straight up if something is not worth the money. I dropped in for a quote on scratch touch-up. I wasnt looking for a perfect job -- I.e. full respray. They mixed touch-up paint on the spot, applied it, and polished the scratches. Looked almost perfect, took 20 minutes, and they refused even to charge me for the work. Needless to say, Im sold for life. Ill be back when I need bodywork done, and Ill recommend them to my friends.

After getting into a minor car accident, only to realize that the entire front end of my car was totaled, Eyal and his team did a great job of assessing the damage, providing me with a reasonable estimate, and working especially hard to ensure I got the best deal. I needed to have my entire front bumper replaced, along with my radiator, and condenser, as well as getting the frame realigned, and the paint touched up. Everyone at Crown Coachworks was prompt, professional, friendly, and - most importantly - gave it to me straight. I could not have asked for better customer service, as well as the amazing job they did on my car, for it really looks better than ever. She haphazardly walked around the car asked for my information and then said he’ll get back to me... what.. She didn’t take any pictures of the damage, no detailed notes of the scratches or of the areas that were affected... and when I asked her about this, she just got an attitude and began to condescend my questions. Not at all the customer service engagement that I expect to repair my car. I used these guys the past, and I’d prefer the guys to others… Service after the sale is trash

Stopped by yesterday for an estimate on a pretty bad scratch with some chipped paint (and rust) on the side of my car, and not only did they give me a free estimate, they fixed it. FOR FREE. They rubbed off the top layer of the scratch with acetone, buffed it out, used sandpaper to rub it out further (Im not auto-savvy please forgive me), and then mixed paint and painted over where the paint was chipped. If I knew how to post pictures I would, they did an amazing job and charged me literally nothing. Super friendly and helpful. I did not expect this from an auto body shop in Los Angeles! I felt very taken care of.Today I went in, just needing to be sure the old man ran okay before a big trip. They did everything. Oil change, scrub the crud off of my battery, breaks. They even cleaned my car! I had been working 9 days in a row, far too tired to clean my own car and they did it! I was almost in tears. It was such a little thing but I felt even more taken care of.Needless to say I trust these guys. Not just for the little things to. I didnt feel like I had to take my car in again for over a year and they said it was still running fine just needed breaks and a small tune up here and there.

Crown Coachworks is fantastic! They did an outstanding job on my civic (it looks good as new) at half the price of some of the other quotes that I found. Eyal is very friendly, honest, and fair and his team does great body work. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone in need of quick, detailed, and economical auto body work.

I am writing the review one year after the work was done. If I ever have to have work done in Los Angeles I will come here. Reviews that are done years after the work was done are usually more valuable when it comes to body work.

Having recently moved to LA, I had to start from scratch when it came to finding a body shop. Naturally, I turned to Yelp and Google for advice. Crown Coachworks fit both of my criteria: High rating and open on the weekends. Anyone in a new job can understand how hard it can be to take a day off.I was rear ended the day before I left Michigan for my cross country journey to California. I took my car into Crown Coackworks. Eyal was great! The price he quoted me was very reasonable.Then, he offered to do something that I was not expecting. Being that my damage wasnt extensive, he offered to polish most of it out...for FREE! He advised that this wasnt something I would want to file a claim for and increase my insurance. I was blown away by his customer service. In a place where people constantly warn against being taken advantage of, I was completely shocked.I know where I will take my car if I ever need work again. Crown Coachworks lives up to its stars!

Imagine being in a 4 car collision and being sandwiched in between 2 of those cars. Nothing like being rear-ended. Argh. Anyway, my new car didnt even have plates on it yet, so I was very upset about this. Crown Coachworks took the sting away and they made my new car look new again.Eyal and Albert were wonderful. They are extremely customer service oriented and that is so key in these situations. It just plain sucks to be in the situation of being without your car, being in a rental for over 2 weeks, but in the end, Im very happy with the finished work and its once again perfect inside and out.I will often go out of my way to support a long standing family business and cannot speak highly enough of Crown Coachworks. Simply fantastic!

Thanks to the kindness of an unknown stranger who reared into my car in the garage and his/her extraordinary graciousness to not leave me a note, I was forced to use my insurance for the first time. After checking with my colleagues and some reviews on the web, I shortlisted three auto shops. The other two shall remain unnamed, but when Eyal looked at my car and explained me what they were going to be doing, it was very reassuring... not the typical you-have-no-clue-explanation given by auto mechanics. While I was there, another customer dropped by. While I would not like to be a regular customer at a body shop, the amount of trust the other customer had in Eyal sealed the deal for me. He told me how the insurance process would work out, and what would happen afterward in the repairing process as well. There were constant updates over e-mail (which I like rather than being off the record in a phone conversation), and when the car was ready, it was gleaming! All in all, it was a wonderful experience to be their customer.

I got into an accident, it was brand new Acura MDX, 4 months old. I was very upset with the dent and all. These guys did very good job. They took few more days than initially quoted but I am very much satisfied by the work they have done.They keep you posted most of the times with the updates. Eyal, the owner is also very responsive.

When I think of customer service I cant think of any other body shop that met my needs to the satisfaction I received at Crown. Excellent staff and great work. This is one of those rare businesses that treat you like a human being instead of a source of income. I had a small fender bender that pushed the bumper back and kept me from opening the passenger door. It happened while I was driving my bosses car and I lost sleep worrying about how much it would cost to fix. I took it to Crown and they sent their mechanic out to fix the door and bumper for FREE! 15 minutes later the door was fixed and they have several clients for life. Thank you.

Horrible experience stay away

HORIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Management is nice and accommodating in the beginning to get your business but as soon as they do, all customer service goes out the window! They take on too many projects and dont pay attention to details. Eyal the general manager, makes empty promises and he doesnt stand by his word. My husband & I, dropped off our car on April,11th and we dealt with EYAL. Eyal promised our car was going to be ready in one week ... at the most, TEN days if the adjuster didnt show up the first couple days. To close the deal, Eyal also promised he would take care of a small scratch on the back bumper at no charge. My husband visited the body shop on the 26th to check on the status of the car. Eyal gave us a completion date of Friday the 28th. As planned, my husband returned his rental car on Friday the 28th before noon and proceeded to call Eyal to make sure he could pick up the car by end of that day ...as Eyal promised. Eyal picked up the phone but dismissed and connected my husband to Jacob, someone we didnt know and had not dealt with before. Jacobs response was that he didnt know when the car would be ready ... he told us that he has to take the car for a drive at 3:00 pm and hung up on us. We called back and asked to be connected to EYAL. Eyal verbally attacked us ... screaming on the phone, asking why we called a second time! Before we got a chance to share our concerns, he hung up the phone on us! Eyal is extremely rude, unprofessional and full of empty promises. When we finally went in at 5:30 pm to pick up our car, Eyal was conveniently gone for the day and the bumper he had promised to fix at no charge, still had the scratch on it! We will never use Crown Coachworks again as our bodyshop.

LOVE these guys! I was in a major accident where a driver blew a red light and smashed the entire front of my new 1month-old Toyota Yaris, and Crown Coachworks saved the day! They restored my car back to its gorgeous original appearance and did it quickly and efficiently! These guys are the best! Super friendly, empathetic customer service! I refer anyone I know that has a car that needs body work. And Im a customer for life! :P Getting in accidents is no fun, but I always feel better knowing I can call Eyal at CrownCoachworks,. :)

Horrible and unprofessional and extremely racists. I called to ask if they are Volkswagen Certified Collision repair and instead of listening to my question she keep answering we repair all kinds of car ... That was not my question. After repeating my self 3 times and had the audacity to say that she does not understand my English. English is my 1st language so she must has hearing issues.Hopefully the boss is reading these comments because who knows how many potential customers they lost due to this rude and unprofessional lady that answered the phone.

They have great customer service and their estimates are reasonable.
