I was recommended to this store by a girl I follow on Instagram for chain. Athenian Fashions has an incredibly experienced and personable staff with great suggestions and knowledge to help you. They will even help you find components for certain sizes of chain or recommend items based off the durability/quality you want. The store itself is very well organized and on top of the shelves where the products are examples pieces which are great for inspo and also show off the variety of items they carry.Pricing varies depending on the item you buy but from what I’ve seen searching online it is all very reasonable. While I was there I picked up a cute pair of hoops which look like chain to wear instead of use as a component that are super on trend/available to purchase without backs (you’ll need to buy that component separately) for less than $6 when finding them online usually means you’re paying $15+ minimum. I will definitely be stopping by next time I’m in LA to pick up more items in person. FYI: parking in this area can be a bit annoying so be prepared to search or go into one of the parking garages.They have an online store too but I wanted to see stuff in person before I bought because I’m not super versed in the materials for jewelry and wanted to get a feel of the weights of the chains I was buying.

Experienced staff, wide selection, and fair prices! I went in for a gunmetal chain looking for some designs for a bracelet. Alice & George were very knowledgeable in their products and the process of jewelry making. I explained to them what I was looking to achieve with the chain and Alice went above and beyond insisting she make the bracelet for me! I really didnt know what I was doing honestly and she picked up on that very quick. Kind and honest family business, I couldnt have asked for a better experience. A+++!!!

Thank you to Alice and George for really helping me out! It was my moms birthday and she made her career as making jewelry. So I wanted to get a nice birthday present for her by ordering some new rings, chains, and a few beads. Reading online reviews they seemed pretty good to me (and they didn’t disappoint).When I went to them, I told them what I needed and While looking at samples they have on hand, I really liked a few of them. They were able to ship it out me and right on time, a day before my moms birthday. In the end she was so happy that she had new supplies and she loves it all. I drove in today from Rialto, CA a suburb 55 miles east of LA, to make my first visit to the store and hopefully purchase some chain. I make costume jewelry and use suppliers from all over the USA via etsy and from China so I know my price points. I was so very pleased with the prices and the variety of products at Athena Fashion. The manager was very pleasant and knew his inventory well. I was able to use my CA resellers license and credit card with ease. The cashier was personable and provided me with a detailed receipt.
