I came at 5:55pm and people were still at the register. I told the girl that I drove all the way from Alhambra and she said her boss said no because the close at 5:50pm all I needed was some braiding hair poor customer service don’t ever go here ever again!

You can find almost anything here from hookahs to bongs blunts & wraps.. For sports fans they have cigarette holders, lighters, key lanyards wallets even flasks & backpacks again almost every product you can think of. Definitely will be going back to get more of my Niner Nation gear...

This store has everything you need from wigs to beauty supply. Its a great store to shop for things you need to lay the hair right. Ask for Erick, when picking the right wig because he really knows his stuff. Props..Erick ..your an asset to C&J Beauty Supply and the other workers are nice too.

I found what I needed and the cashier was able to direct me to the products I was looking for. I also found Products from Aunt Jackies OH So Clean Shampoo and Quench Leave-In Conditioner that was $18 & $22 at Amazon but only $9.99 here. So in my opinion items are reasonably priced.

I definitely agree with La Tasha Payne review and aside from that let me start by saying Im not prejudice at all! We should all be treated equal but today not here to talk about we all, here to speak about the Black man and the way we allow people to treat us.If you pay attention to the photo I attached to this review its powerful and the reason being is that if u zoom in ull see all the durags with image of those black men on the front, thats being used in the marketing of the product, cant even be taken off the hook without a sales associate due to the lil red lock they have in place.And thats just to start, the hair grease we use (black men) is located far behind the counter. Im sure they have their reasons but to me none is good enough to make consumer feel less than! We allow ourselves to be treated in this manner and will still find the urge to spend our black dollars with these businesses. Without our dollars these type of places wouldnt last 60 days. I didnt write this review in an attempt to hurt this business but to make my people aware. Come on people lets put the resources in place to start our own companies so we patronize US!!Man, if you only knew, I could go all day on these subjects but Ill leave it there and HOPE WE GET IT!!

This place has been around for a while. They’re wig selection is alright nice selections, sometimes they are limited on wig selections But other than that, this is my one stop shop.

THEY’VE GOT IT ALL. Everything I was looking for was found in this store, AND SOME. I’m from the DMV so I’m a little more familiar with our pricing but maybe the prices they have here are an LA thing. Overall pleased with their selection, and it’s walking distance from USC Campus for all those in need. I will be back !

Wide selection of braiding hair and great variety of synthetic ponytails. However the staff come a little snooty and that crowd of hoodlums in front is tge reason I have to give a 1 star. I feel a little unsafe everytime I pull up. A bad look.

I went to visit a friend who goes to USC, I stopped by this place, that had a sign saying beauty supply store, The people who work there are horrible! True demons! They are known for following customers around the store, was my first time there, I left, Didnt buy anything, I refuse to support any stores, that dont practice equality, and have better business ethics...

My GO TO Beauty Supply!! Being open on a SUNDAY is a rarity in the Beauty Supply World... this place has a wide arrangement of everything you can think of from hair extensions, wigs, styling aids, clips, combs,hair dyes,etc. I mean if you can think of it they have it!! The staff here is friendly and know alot about the products they offer in the store. Lastly this place has great prices on Everything!!!

A great collection of Black Beauty Supply items from braiding hair to hard to find hair products. Definitely worth a stop if you are nearby. The other C&J in Inglewood is much larger and nicer but this one has the basic necessities. I took off a star for the not great atmosphere of shop workers following customers and staking out spots in the aisles to watch customers. I understand that theft might be a problem but it does not make for a comfortable shopping experience. The parking lot is very small and usually very full. i would recommend this C&J to get in and out for what you need and the Inglewood store for a real, big great shopping experience.

The staff is somewhat RUDE. Was looking for a product. Instead of just saying I havent heard of it. Or even trying to look for a similar product. They were RUDE in there response. Wont be doing business there again.

Best beauty supply store for women of color that Ive been able to find in LA for over a year. They have a large selection of hair products (including hair for braiding which NO ONE seems to have or care about stocking in LA) and body products. They staff is very friendly and helpful. Id recommend this beauty supply store.

This is my first time writing a review! I have had some bad experiences, but this was the worst! The two men who were there were very curt with their answers. His reply to one of my questions was: Didnt you hear what I said...! On my way out the door I let them know they were short on staff and big on attitudes! What offends me is this is an African American neighborhood. Those two men are Hispanics or Middle Eastern. They come from parts of the world where Human Rights have not been fought and won. I am afraid that their influx into this part of the world, without enlightenment, will take us back 100 years. I believe all those reviews about how helpful these people are, are paid for! Black people, dont sell out! If you are treated with disrespect take your business elsewhere, even if it is a little inconvenient.I left and spent my money at Baldwin Park, about 20 minutes away. It was worth taking a stand for all the people who fought and died for me.They dont deserve any stars, but Google refused to post unless I clicked!
