Coming from a dirtbiking background, I bought my first Ebike, a 2021 Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 TM from Flyrides, back in April 2021. During that process, I spoke to a handful of reps there they were all very friendly and professional. I spoke to Austen in particular, several times and he was always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer and discuss my onslaughts of questions about sizing, geometry, suspension, motors, battery life, etc etc lol. I loved my Cube but after about 6 months and a strange Chihuahua related incident, Flyrides helped me immensely, in upgrading me to a 2021 Specialized Turbo Kenevo Expert, at a steal of a deal, too! The Kenevo fits my riding style farrrr better and Im very happy and grateful they were able to help me make the switch. Though Ive researched and ridden e-bikes for nearly five years, I still learned something new from the team at Fly Rides. Unlike other bike shops, I dont feel nickle-and-dimed for service and support. I bought a Cube and a Kuat rack to transport it. The staff have been responsive to my questions about riding, maintaining and transporting my bike. And they never once made me feel like only men were worthy of their attention. Its a welcoming vibe.

La Fly Rides is greatBought a Bulls bike in 2019. Suddenly lost power riding up a huge hill. Hector at the LA/Hollywood store,diagnosed and corrected the problem which was a loose connection at the Brose motor and did a software update ( for which he waved the $50 fee!) - took a little over 90min. Awesome service. I am fortunate to live only 35miles away.

Having already done a lot of research, I listed the qualities in an ebike that I wanted and he gave me a recommendation. This was the 6th bike shop and the 4th bike I test rode. Being a 70 year old woman, I was either totally ignored or dealt with in unprofessional manner. Austen was prompt in responding to my emails and attentive and pleasant to deal with in person. Update: June 22, 2021:I bought my E-Mountain bike at LA Fly Rides back in December. I became obsessed with my bike and began riding every day. When I bought the bike, Austen helped me pick out the right one and helped me get financing so I could afford it. Hector then told me everything I needed to know about the bike. I live about 90 minutes away… so I figured I wouldn’t see these guys anytime soon.But then something happened to the motor of the bike (after owning it for about 5 months). I took it to a (different) shop (Not Flyrides) that was relatively close to my house (and is an authorized dealer / service center for my brand of bike).The other shop (not Flyrides) had my bike for almost 2 months while they tried to figure out what was wrong with it. They couldn’t figure it out, so they installed a new motor. I was hoping then it would be fixed and I could begin riding again.But that was not the case, and my bike was still broken with the motor not working.I then decided I should have brought it back to Flyrides (where I bought it from in the first place.) I reached out to Flyrides on a Saturday… they emailed me back the same day (on a Saturday, Thanks Marvin!!!!) and got me in 3 days later on Tuesday.It didn’t take Marvin very long to figure out what was wrong… it was not the motor… the other shop had cut a wire and once the wire was replaced (I think they also replaced the speed sensor, just to make sure everything was covered.) the bike then worked just like day one. I’m back on the hills baby!!!!Word of advice: If you want to buy an electric bike, go to Flyrides (in La or San Diego) and if something happens (stuff happens, you know) then just bring it back to them and they will fix it right up!!! Thanks Flyrides.Also if you are thinking about getting an E-Bike get on their email list… They always have deals on different bikes and there are some good deals! Hector helped me when I picked up the bike and knew everything about it. He even helped me load it in my car. These electric mtn bikes are not cheap... But these guys had a good sale and Im really glad I bought the bike with them.

Austen knows his stuff and despite the difficulty of buying any kind of bike now, much less an E-MTB, I was able to get them to hold a bike for me to test ride and purchase. Theyre hammered with orders right now and I had to wait a week to look at the bike but it was ready exactly when they said it would be. Kudos for carrying the more affordable but no less capable Cube brand. Best part, I can get service at a brick and mortar rather than dealing with the issues of mail order E-Bikes. Big ups to both locations really as the San Diego store actually made all the calls for me since I contacted them online first.

Bought a 2019 Bulls E-Core AM DI2 back in December, Had it sahipped to my home in NOR CAL. Had a local TREK shop assemble it for $75. The TREK mechanics were impressed with the Quality of the BULLS build. I am have extremely happy with the bike.t

Purchased a Bulls EMTB from LA Fly Rides in October 2020 and the experience was excellent. Initially spoke with Max and then Austin and both were very knowledgeable and informative without being pushy. I waited a few months before writing this review to get a better feel for working with them on the service side as well which has also been outstanding. If you are looking for an E-Bike then you owe it to yourself to give these guys a try. You will be glad you did.

2 bikes purchased so far from fly rides, one shipped to me and picked the other one up in LA. Dealt with Will in sales and Austin helped me when I arrived in LA to pick up. Both great guys, super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend fly rides to anyone looking for a new bike. Only downside is the LA location. Please find a better location for your store. I will have all bike shipped to me from now on.

I hemmed and hawed about getting an eBike for a long time and these guys were totally supportive without being “sales-y”. Through months of multiple test rides and conversations, I never got the vibe that they wanted me to just stop asking questions and buy a bike. You can tell they’re passionate about what they’re selling and have curated what they feel to be the best bikes while considering value, performance and durability. I finally bought my commuter ebike from them and couldn’t be happier.

There is no better way to go up to the Hollywood sign than on an electric assist bike! I had never ridden an electric bike before so I was a little nervous now I cant wait to do it again! The Hollywood Sign tour is both interesting and fun! You will see a lot more than just the Hollywood sign. I highly recommend.

Only 5 stars because 10 isnt an option. Their service department is top-notch. They are experts on disc brakes, belt drives, bosch, enviolo, you name it they can fix it probably better than you ever had it. Dont hesitate. GO!!!!

THE place to get your ebike.I’m over the moon over my pandemic-era ebike. It is now my favorite way to get around, get exercise, get green and get happy. After doing my online research, I went to my nearby bike shop in Pasadena – and watched the owner sell a bike to someone for $800 over MSRP. The shop also was full of people unmasked and socially distanced, but the sales guys did not care, just kept raking in money.I walked out – and made an appointment at LA Fly Rides. This shop is covid-careful, honest and makes the time to explain everything carefully, since you get your own appointment time. Austen the manager was awesome. I’ve found it’s also important to establish a service relationship with a bike shop. Hector the service manager is amazing, as is the technician Seth. Both took so much time to explain to me which parts of my bike wear down, how to care better for my bike, how to oil my chain, etc.Don’t bother going anyplace else.

Fly Rides had great customer service and response time. I simply filled out a short questionnaire online and received a phone call within an hour from Max, the companys COO. He quickly assessed the best bike options for what I wanted and set up a couple bikes to test ride at their Hollywood location. He also offered a loaner bike in case they needed to transfer a bike from another store so that I could still ride over the weekend. I ended up buying one of the bikes and am so pleased with the purchase and experience.

La Fly Riders, you guys are the best in the West. I always do my homework and research, before I do anything and Hector at LA Fly Riders, was on top of his game. He knew all his stuff, he knew the industry and whats out there and the service and price was the only place. I had recommended several of my friends, and they are all super happy. If you want an E-bike, this is the place. NO im sorry the only place you should visit.

As a local cyclist and amateur area historian, the perfect thing to do when three friends came to visit was a self-guided tour of my favorite spots in Griffith Park and the Hollywood Hills.Scott and the Fly Bikes team were incredible from start to finish. I called ahead and made a reservation and Scott answered all my questions. When we showed up on a Sunday morning, Scott was ready for us and got us all suited up on some pretty trick front suspension mountain bikes with Bosch 250W electric motors. Extremely friendly and helpful the entire time.The bikes were great and we had everything we needed - helmets, water bottles, locks. We got 35 miles into a 4 hour half day rental, but that involved some hustle since we did three big climbs. My only niggle is that my three friends were given 500Wh batteries, and upon seeing mine die out faster than theirs, realizing I was set out with a 400Wh battery. Mine died after 3.5 hours while my friends with an extra 25% capacity made it all the way back to the shop.These bikes had four levels of assist - eco, tour, sport and turbo. The less assist you use, theoretically, the more battery range you can get.Eco - about makes up for the extra weight and rolling resistance of the bike - feels like a comparable effort to riding a road bike.Tour - allows you to ride at road bike speeds but one or two heart rate zones lower.Sport - kinda fun. Your feet are like a throttle and the bike does a lot of the work for you.Turbo - a bit ridiculous. Once the pedals start to move the bike takes off. It can accelerate you past your friends on a steep hill. Pure smiles.We went straight up Western/Western Canyon to the top of Mt. Hollywood, and descended Vista Del Valle to the Helipad and down to the neighborhood off Commonwealth. We snaked over to Crystal Springs and looped past Travel Town to Trash Truck Hill where we made a second ascent on Mt. Hollywood, this time from behind. After stopping at the Observatory, we went down past the Greek and took Vermont to Franklin. We scooted up Beachwood/Ledgewood/Deronda to the Hollywood sign, and then enjoyed three dirt trails on the way down to Lake Hollywood. From there we dropped though the dells out to Cahuenga and took Hollywood back to the shop.Cant wait until I get another opportunity to do this with more visitors.P.S. - its also a dedicated e-bike store and they have a huge selection of recreational and commuter e-bikes. Way out of my budget, but after this experience, I cant wait until I get my own.

Took a hosted tour of the Hollywood sign last week with LA Fly Rides. Scott, our awesome guide, got us up and down Mt. Lee without issues. We learned a lot of history during the ride. The eBikes are workhorses but I decided to get a workout, so I didnt use the bikes full potential. I highly recommend taking an LA Fly Rides eBike cruise to learn more about LA and check out great views.

Best customer service I experienced from a bike shop! I recently purchased a Levo SL from there and it was all a wonderful experience. From the first call I made to inquire about the bike, I felt like they tried their best to accommodate my needs. When I went to pick up the bike, Hector was very helpful and friendly. He explained to me all I needed to know about the bike and took his time to set up my suspension. When I had a little problem with the bike, he took care of it in a very satisfying manner. My son and I rented from them and had the best time. The experience is amazing and the people that work there couldn’t be nicer, more informed. We had so much fun doing it that I went back and bought a full suspension bike from them. I live in the hills and have used it every single day. It’s such a great way to get around the city but also get out of the city and up into nature. Rode to the top of the Hollywood sign this morning. Great way to start the day. Can’t recommend more strongly. Took my son and a friend and his father out this past weekend. 3+ hours of exercise with no complaining. No easy feat with 11 year olds.

Fun Beverly Hills tour with Scott!What an awesome tour! This was my first time in Los Angeles, so I wanted to do something that would give me a general overview of the area. This was perfect! I must admit, I was a little nervous about it being electric bikes since I had never ridden one, but they were and a breeze. Scott was helpful in training us up and knew a lot about the area. LA Fly Rides folks were super patient and honest about foldable bikes. I wasn’t sure what color to get for a couple days but once I finally ordered I was able to pick up the bike within a few days of ordering! They even built it for me. The Tern foldable looks a little funky but it rides super smooth. Catch me riding along the Santa Monica beach weekday mornings to work. Shout out to staff Hector who picked up the phone when I needed help folding it back up the first time I rode out.

I put a deposit down on a bike and the bike was supposed come in next week but that didnt happen. So, after several weeks when they got some of the bikes in they didnt have my size. Crazy, so I said just refund my deposit no harm no foul. But the guy wouldnt release my deposit! I had to go through this whole rigamarole with my bank. F the sales dude!

I didn’t go into the store yet but I called and spoke to hector and he was very patient I normally don’t write reviews. I told him I wanted to convert my specialized enduro to an e-bike but it makes more sense to buy an e-bike that has parts specially designed to handle the heavier components

A great way to get out and see the city. The tour flew by, I wish it couldve lasted all day! You really get to see a lot of the city and might even see some celebs while youre out! Highly recommend for any first time visitors.

I had a difficult time with a broken Yamaha charger cable connection, but after a lot of back and forths with Haibikes and Fly Rides, I got it resolved. Hector in the L.A. Fly Rides service department stuck with this for months and saw it through to its conclusion. Kudos and thanks to Hector.

Super knowledgeable and helpful. I recently bought a 2018 Haibike Xduro Fullseven S 9.0 from them along with some accessories. After I received the bike, I had it shipped to a local bike shop in Austin, TX for assembly. The bike showed up with a missing part (mount for front headlight, my guess is the shop lost it during assembly) and Fly Rides was quick to send a replacement, rush delivery. The other issue was their was an intense creaking sound coming from the motor/crank during the first ride. I took the bike to another local shop, and it turned out that a few motor mount bolts were loose (likely from manufacturer). This bike shop over tightened them causing one to snap in half during a tough trail ride and Fly Rides immediately paid for all the Services costs to get this done right by finally, a third bike shop here in Austin. Above all else, these things happen and Fly Rides made sure to do everything they could to ensure I got back on the road seamlessly and have been helpful through each unfortunate encounter. I will be sending friends their way and highly recommend them if you are looking to purchase an awesome f****ing eBike. Ask for Jerit.

Just bought my second bike from these guys, shipped to the east coast. Superb white glove pre and post sale service. I’d buy my non-ebikes from them too if I could. Can’t recommend any more than I am now.

Thanks Google for helping us find this place!! LA Fly is preeetty fly!! This is the most efficient and eco-friendly way to go up the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory within a couple of hours, while taking the scenic route and not have to worry about traffic or parking!!We wanted to squeeze in a lot in very short period of time so we opted to rent 2 e-bikes from LA Fly and went on a self-guided tour. Everything was better than expected. Bikes and helmets are in excellent condition. Super easy to use and made our day 100x awesomer!! Painless yet still getting some exercises in 😅 They have little pouches for locks, water and snacks as well as a cell phone holder so we can take pix/vid and keep track of Google Maps right in front of our bikes. The whole setup was just super practical!!Staff were all very amazing!!! Meghan and Scott helped us check in/out, offered us lots of tips and tricks, and gave us water, snacks and sunscreen before the ride! Thanks guys!! Keep up the excellent customer service and maintaining your bikes :) :)

We will be back-BEST tour EVER!!We chose to book the Beverly Thrills Tour with LA Fly Rides (an E-Bike company in LA and in San Diego)! OMG-It was so much fun. Scott, our guide, knew so much about Beverly Hills including actors from the 40s and current celebrities! My favorite part of the tour was the Greystone Mansion that Scott was so knowledgeable regarding the Doheny family of LA. He made it so interesting that I wanted to know more and ordered the book online this morning The Dark Side of Fortune... Anyway, this tour is a must while visiting So Cal. Just riding an E-bike is worth the tour!

This was such an amazing experience that I recommend to anyone who is an LA native like myself or just visiting!!! I live a few blocks from this location and found it on google on Memorial Day. My fiancé and I wanted to do a bike ride but not kill our selves too much but also not be lazy a rent an Uber around Hollywood. There are tons of options for half or full rental self guided or full guided tours. We just did the half day rental with the cruiser bikes and rode to brunch in Los Feliz, rode up to Griffith Park up to the observatory up the Greek theater side and cruised down the switchbacks rode the other way with an amazing view of LA, we then stopped at a cafe for a tea and good book, and then rode all the way down Hollywood Blvd to fairfax to the beginning of West Hollywood and back to the shop. Overall I can say we rode at least 6 or more miles and I’m not dead!!! I’m a bigger guy who’s 5’10” and 280lbs and this bike handles very well. Can’t ride up steep inclines so had to walk those on sweetzer going up to sunset but Griffith was all bike the whole way. The only downside was that the seat tended to be uncomfortable at times so if an upgrade option for seats could be an awesome add on that I would pay for. Also the gears were a bit touchy when going up hills shifting to lower gears to a point where the chain could fall off our get bent. The awesome guide Hector that set up our whole reservation treated us like first class service 110%. His knowledge of the bikes and if any need for help he’s there at a phone call. I couldn’t believe that there we rentals available today being a gorgeous Memorial Day for a ride around this awesome city of LOS ANGELES!!! We’re sadly moving to NYC but this concept I hope is out there too!!! Thinking hard bout even purchasing one while in NYC! THANKS HECTOR FOR EVERYTHING!!!
