This hardware store had the only space heater left in town in January. It worked great and came with a personal recommendation by the salesclerk who sold it to me. You can’t get better than that, especially when Home Depot refuses to restock their seasonal items even when they run out long before the season is over, or when Amazon lets you down yet again. I always try this store first before any of the big corporations now.The guys that work here will also take the time to explain what you’re buying and how it works, if you need it. I really hope this place survives the gentrification tsunami taking over Highland Park. They are essential to the neighborhood.

I discovered at 5 PM I needed some hardware for a bedroom I was cleaning out. I went to Garvanza after having a hard time getting help at Ace in South Pas. My first time to Garvanza since the virus shut everything down. The guys have set up a table across their doorway, with plexiglass over it - social distancing. I walked up, told the guys what I wanted, one of them walked back into the shop, was gone for 30-60 seconds, and came back with PRECISELY what I was looking for. It was like help was waiting right at the front door. I was in and out in a flash, and got my project done before dinner! Highly recommended!

3 signs stating that you’re open.. and your closed please take down / cover your signs when you are closed, I’ve stopped by 3 times now to a closed store.

Would highly recommend it for people who need anything someone would normally get from home depot their prices are the best and are definitely lower than home depot if your going to home depot reconsider and come here will be worth the trip and will save money.
