Ive been coming here for lunch, groceries and gifts for nearly 20 years... The food is still delicious and inexpensive. The selection gets more authentic and extensive each year and the prices for meals from their lunch/chat counter have barely moved.Come for the Indian food and then stay and look around to dig into the culture. Youll find British as well as Indian groceries, spices, tea, rice, fresh vegetables, rice, clothing, jewelry, DVDs, brass and aluminum cookware, (like stacks of GIANT cooking vessels for sale there today), jewelry, soaps, and so many sweets!

Food and prices are good. Ive noticed they improved on customer service after Covid lock down. I hope it continues because I do like the food there. :]

Food was old. Place was dirty. They serve and wipe food with their bare hands, no gloves and no washing hands. It was concerning specially with delta and covid......Mango lassie was delicious. Price is good. Staff is nice but slow. They have their old grandma who barely speaks English, serving food. They all look disheveled.

The best Indian food Ive had in the United States. I normally live in boston, but I took a road trip to California for a week and ate here basically every day! Everything is made fresh daily and in house. Go here for great food!

Great variety of lunch including dosas. I had Chai with rava masala dosa and others in my party ordered paneer dosa, mysore masala dosa and channa bhatura and Lassi. Chutney and sambhar were good.

You cant beat that. Yep, that included drinks.Better pictures next time. Was too hungry, food disappeared before my artistic muscles kicked in.

Seriously well stocked Indian supermarket. Lots of authentic indopak goods and spices. Even British foods and candies. Variety of hot foods served at the hot deli bar. Gotta love this place!

I love this place! They have all the spices you would need. They also have a wonderful togo counter with delicious ready made Indian food, all vegetarian. Every one that works there is incredibly lovely.

We’re going there from 2-3 years .. Groceries are good and affordable .. But please don’t forget to chk expiration date .. Specially on Indian cosmetics and Medicine. I bought expired stuff twice in last 2-3 months .. one of them was expired 3 years ago (2017). And we’re in January 2021 now. 🤨

One of the best Indian grocery & food shops in this area.....I lives in Burbank, I didnt see such a huge stocks of items in desi stores in this area....Foods quality is good.... dont think they open dine in dye to covid.... but people can buy and eat outside, benches are available....Moderate parking space available...

The pandemi taught me basic Indian cooking and this place in combination with YouTube was my wonderland. (I now impress my friends with my korma) But I gotta tell you, once you get hooked in you’ll start adding this place to your everyday grocery shop. The prices are blissfully cheap, great fruit and veg. NOTE TO AUSTRALIANS IN LA; VEGEMITE SOLD HERE. also Milo!! I’ve never owned more fenugreek in my life and now I keep it in beautiful stainless steel tubs which you can also buy there. I am now never without POUNDs of dried chickpeas and rice. The same ingredients at any other shop would be 17times the price. Friendly and helpful staff too!

Food is good, healthy and very inexpensive despite its high quality. The mango lassus are the best in LA!

A bit on the costly side the store is a tight place.

The lady that helped immensely was a cornucopia of knowledge of East Indian snacks and sweets. She had natural great hair.

This is a great place. One of the best for all types of flour, fresh spices from all parts of asia, and the little cafeteria is vegan. Delish. Also the best samosas in town. Best chutneys for them too!

Grocery items, as usual, are abundant. However, the tables outside are SO close, I wouldnt eat there, I would take it home. Only reason I gave 3 stars

Love this place! The owners are so super friendly. It really gives you the neighborhood vibe, they know you by first name. You can basically get all you need for groceries and spices. Great variety of Indian spices, vegetables, pickles, and chutneys. They have a good frozen section with pre-made stuff as well as tofu, yogurt, paneer, rotis, snacks. They have a warm food bar, the prices are beyond reasonable and a real bang of for your buck! $5.30 with tax for two curries and a rice, idk where you get a better deal than that! They generally always have, aloo tikki, super spicy but very delicious, samosa, paneer kabob, and a desert, my fave (halva on Saturdays. Also on Saturdays they have Malia kofta which is not very spicy, vegan with coconut milk and just delish! We go here regularly for groceries, toilet paper, spices, and almost anything else you could need. They even have great gifts, clothing, god statues, incenses, cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates and cups. It’s an Indian Walmart!
