Safeway has lost its work ethics, courtesy. I requested help in Floral department to get a balloon bouquet for my son. There were 10 employees on floor chatting but none came to help. The employee who was requested for help was doing me a favor by paging for help. No one showed up. Finally left after 20 minutes with resolution never to shop ever at Safeway.

Very pleased to see theyre still open decent hours. And the shelves were well stocked, apart from the soda aisle. Self-checkout was packed but the glitch causing continual requests to place the item in the bagging area - I already did, thank you - seem to have been resolved. Good for a quick grocery run.

Excellent overall go-to grocery store. Underground parking is actually pretty convenient and keeps your car cool in the summer!

The employees were so rude. The lady at the deli hated her life. Thinking it’s in a nice area they would have more manners guess not. Wouldn’t recommend, even the safe way in modetso they’re way nice.

Rude shoppers. Had a lady stare at me while I said excuse me to pass her and her shopping cart, she didnt even budge. Had to turn sideways to get by. Dont like how people are so inconsiderate around this area. The staff was very nice! Whoever worked the 15 item or less register was so nice!!! She saved this from being a 1 star 🌟... she was so sweet and very kind, as I checked out with my groceries. Thank you safeway employee!

Generic supermarket. The parking is tough up top but youre pretty much guaranteed a spot down in the bottom parking lot. Good selection of food.

This is from our first pandemic 2020, trip to Los Gatos Safeway. I knew it was possible but crazy to see really happen. No bread, no eggs, no paper products, One banana and no social distancing.

My husband and I went in the other day, and the clerks were not helpful. Very disappointing.

Love this store! Open 24 hours. So much to offer.

Didnt carry the tea I was looking for, but is a nice store overall.

One of the few Safeway stores I would give a 4* rating. All others pale in comparison.

Low on stock. Quite a few items missing from shelves. Challenging to find someone to help. Terrible selection of jams. Fresh baked bread is nice. Has some competitively priced wines. Terrible checkout process. Not my favorite store.

Embarrassing! Frustration!!!! They tell the code from restroom at the register!! And it didnt work??! What????

Ordered food online for curbside pickup. My order was ready on time. The shopping was does according to my ask. Pickup was more difficult. Parked in the curbside pickup spot called the phone number on the sign and got no answer. Called multiple times no one picked up. It took a while to get help. Was a bit disappointing.

I came in for one thing and the store clerk wasnt helpful due to him not knowing where they keep coffee.

Super nice safeway. Parking in main lot is scarce but there is a parking lot underneath that has elevators to bring you up to main floor

The shelves were stocked, the fresh bars were filled with fresh products. Its a quick trip in and out when you use the self checkout.

I went in around 7pm for dinner and all the sushi was gone. Is it possible for the sushi worker to fill the Sushi counter more before they leave for the day? Because it was dinner time and I wanted to eat some sushi. But the bathrooms were very clean and I appreciated that!

You need to go to Trader Joes in Los Gatos and see how they are doing business in this difficult time. That Management Team has excellent ideas to keep employees and public safe and product on the shelves. We line up they talk with us - only so many customers allowed in at a time - limit of two items per customer - spray hands on the way in and out - offered free flowers when done. I just came from your store - very upset because people were clearing the shelves - you provided no order or kindness -The employees on the floor telling us the trucks were unloading - then it comes over the speakers - toilet paper is in and everyone runs to that aisle but you have it up front - no eggs - no meat - on and on. Come on where is Management??? You can do better - Trader Joes figured it out...I realize the store scale is very different but you have to do better.....there are no controls ...put them it place and let your customers know what your are doing to improve...Just For You really does not matter when there is nothing on the shelves

Store employee would not respect my request to social distance and was rude to me when I requested she did. She risked both of our health to reset a receipt printer.

This one of my favorite Safeways. I know the stores are supposed to be the same but the French bread tastes more authentic. Also like the selection of cheese and alcohol. Clean and plenty of parking underneath. Organic fruit selection is pretty good as well and cheaper than Whole Foods. Make sure you use the Safeway mobile app to get more discounts.

Every time I go here something I need, like milk, is out of stock.

Vegetables are always near the end of their life, prices arent great and it can get busy. However ok for cheap cuts of meat and general junk food

This Safeway has a variety of fresh fruits that I have not typically seen in local grocery stores. I got to try some new flavors!

This Safeway has improved enormously since being rebuilt. The new management has improved staff responsiveness and the wait times to checkout.Even the bakery is pretty good. The bagels are almost as good as Noahs, but at a fraction of the price, and their custom cakes are always a child favorite.Prices are significantly lower than the local competition, and even their prime grade beef is close to Costcos price (but still higher).

The store is nice and the underground parking is fine. I dont find the parking creepy but if youre not expecting it the idea can feel odd. Its a busy store so there are crowds. It is well maintained, clean and up to date.

Your friendly neighborhood grocery store. I regularly get my lunch here, for 7 bucks you can get their fried chicken meal with two side salad. You can also get Sushi and chicken teriaki bowl here too. Good quality of food for reasonable price.

The best of the Safeway bunch. Their sushi 🍣 bar is remarkably good. Youll not likely find a parking spot at street level, but theres an entrance to underground parking on either side of the store. Grab a cart and the elevator will take you up to the store.

Zero Stars for the Order online & Pick up Service. I had to go to the store 4 times in order to pick up my order. Checked the receipt she gave me & my items before I left the parking lot. Only ordered 8 items. They substituted an item to a very expensive option without asking on several items. I did check no substitutes. Also, I used a coupon code on check out and I was still charged a fee. Called the corporate Safeway number that was on my receipt waited 30 mins only to hear the person say we cant do anything about it! Why put your number on the receipt next to any problems with your order? This service is supposed to help you with your errands onvthe weekends not add to them. I dont like Safeway anymore since they were bought out years ago. It has never been the same. Safeway brand products went downhill in quality too. So glad I have other grocery store options!!

This Safeway has a good selection, good service and ample parking in the lower level parking garage. The lines can get a little long between 6cand 8pm, but they move fairly quickly.

Excellent selection and service; However, prices are noticeably higher than Safeway stores in the less affluent surrounding areas. Store is well stocked and cleaner than most. The layout is confusing and some basic items are always in short supply.

This is one of the nicest Safeways Ive seen. The staff is super friendly, underground parking with elevators, and a great selection of specialty items. They have an impressive wine and cheese selection, and the best sushi I have had at a Safeway. Ask for a custom roll of your choice, the sushi chef Wen is restaurant caliber talent, and very friendly. Nice outdoor patio for lunching, Starbucks, Redbox, no bank. Great liquor department with items you cant find in other stores, lots of high quality (expensive) bottles in glass cases. Very clean from the parking lot to the bathrooms.

Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of gluten free, non-diary, organic items with convenient underground parking. Plus a Starbucks inside.

Nice Safeway, very limited parking on the street level. Sign says there is under ground parking. Looks like los Gatos if becoming a big city.

7 Saturday night, parked right in front of the door, all three items I needed were located near each other, they had all the things my regular Safeway on Winchester were out of, and no line at checkout. Without a doubt the most efficient easiest and hassle-free visit to a Safeway Ive ever had

Clean safeway with friendly staff. Go to (more) affordable market in LG. They do however seem to only have one or two registers open at a time and the self check out kiosks are not all operational (this would be a give star review if the kiosks were all open). Other than longer checkout times, no complaints.

Great zhopping

Fairly high prices, seldom having organic produce on sale. And the organic produce suppliers they use are not that great. I walked in and walked out without buying anything.

Good selections. Outside parking spaces are fairly limited, but there is also a parking garage with lots of spaces. The big plus is that this Safeway is not crowded.

Had a problem with ID, which is fine. That happens, I get it. Manager came to help and briefly passed by and rudely stated he couldnt do anything without reasonable explanation or other options to get it done. Despite this being the most conveniently located safeway to where I newly live, any place that has a manager that doesnt even give more than 15 very rude seconds to a customer is a place I dont wish to do business at.

A highly convenient full service grocery store with all the amenities as well as dry ice last time I checked.

This is definitely a 3 star Safeway just based on the selection and variety of items compared to other Safeways. Always out of stock of at least one of my regular items. Underground parking is cool though.
