I bought a Dodge Ram 1500 from Cravens Cars back in May, And I love it.I use it to haul about 2 tons of sand and block everyday during spring and summer months and I drive over 1,100 miles every week and its been the best truck Ive had. I havent had any issues with it at all other than replacing some door speakers and I put it through a lot of hell during the work season.Im impressed and highly satisfied with my vihecle . 💯

They sold me a 2011 Jeep Compass with the subframe completed rusted and this vehicle is unsafe. The first issue was the check engine light came on within 40 mins of me leaving the dealership. I called and Dustin assured me I could bring it back and get the code and he’d take care of it. He told me to run premium gas in it with some fuel cleaner and he reset the check engine light. It ended up being a code for the catalytic converter. I was so worried about it and spoke to him on several occasions about how to remedy this. I understood things happen that they may not know but he and Steven seemed to be honest guys who assured me that they’d help me. But when I took this car to a mechanic they told me the subframe was dangerously rotted and rusted. I contacted Steven and he said those mechanics were overreacting but to bring it in. Believing him I called and had another opinion. I had three mechanics all tell me that this was a very dangerous safety hazard and although this type of rust is common, that it was completely fraudulent for it to be sold. I bought the vehicle cash “as is” but was assured by Dustin that he would most definitely buy this vehicle for his daughter and sent me and my family off in this dangerous vehicle. Even after seeing the rust and rot, Dustin had his mechanic apply a coating to “prevent further rust” and insisted that the vehicle was safe to drive. I’m out of $6400, an unsafe vehicle needing about $4000 worth of work, and Craven Cars is not responding to my messages. I’m heartbroken.

Absolutely loved my sales person and everyone else in the dealership that I worked with. They were kind, professional and helped me get into a car when I didn’t have many options. However, right after driving my car off the lot, the check engine light came out. Turned out to be catalytic converter. Took it back and they told me to run a tank of premium gas through it. I did, but the check engine light remained on. But I never had any problems. Now, one month after my warranty has expired, my car will stall several times during a drive. I push the gas and nothing happens. Then after flooring it several times, it will finally go and be fine. Not sure yet what’s wrong with it, but I don’t have the money to fix it. I love my car that they sold me. I’m absolutely in love with it. And I loved every single person at the dealership. But it’s frustrating to spend most of my money on buying the car, and then having to turn around and fix things. :/

Beware. Ive gotten several vehicles from them they all had major problems and they would not fix them they lie and say its just a sensor or something small when really its major. They dont have a real mechanic and are not fully inspecting them cars. Just be careful and bring your own trusted mechanic!!!!!

The best place to buy a vehicle in Louisville especially if you have no credit or need to repair your credit. They understand bad things happen to good people and go above and beyond for their customers. It has been a few months since we purchased our vehicle a 2007 Cadillac Escalade. I have read most of the reviews on here and only a handful have had any type of issue whether it be the experience or the vehicle itself. I have also read the response from Craven on the reviews and they reassure me that we made the right decision on purchasing our vehicle from them. You have to remember you are buying a car not a pack of gum and there is a process. Be patient!!! Of course they are going to.prequalify you before they hand you the keys to take a test drive. Does a bank hand you $10,000 before you apply and qualify for the loan???? I dont think so! Remember you are buying a used vehicle and there will be problems, dont complain if you didnt purchase the extended warranty!! I really feel that I was had. It was a rotten experience. They sell ailing cars at steep prices. Plus, they sent me off on tires that were the wrong size for the car! Lets not even talk about the horrific stink of their office.

This place was not of hood service my car broke down on me a week after having it and it stayed going to the shop for two solid months after the shop wouldn’t help with any repairs and the warranty that was on the car helped but only to a certain extent over all was a horrible experience would not be going back!!!

I called and Dustin Eisenback, assured me I could bring it back and get the code and he’d “take care of it.” I bought the car with cash 10/17/2020 and it was paid of 10/22/2020. I had take the car to autozone for them to run an engine diagnostics and it pulled the p0420 code (catalytic converter) and Dustin did the same a day or so late and told me to run premium gas in it with some fuel cleaner and he reset the check engine light. I was so worried about it and spoke to him and his brother Steven Craven on several occasions about how to remedy this. I understood things happen that they may not know but he and Steven seemed to be honest guys who assured me that they’d help me. Buyer Beware!!!You better have the car inspected before you purchase it. We purchased a 2005 Acura RL a few months ago with 110K miles and it was a LEMON! Two weeks after purchasing the vehicle the maintenance light came on and sales person told us the car was sold as is. So we took it to the another dealership and the timing belt, sway bar, waterpump etc needed to be replaced over 3,000 in repairs and maintenance. The warranty the Cravens offered was garbage. Thankfully we were able to trade the vehicle. Lesson learned after taken a loss...

The van I bought had washers in the motor to hold the oil in it. Brake line busted while driving. They are crooks and should be put out of business

Intended to buy their 2007 lexus es 350, was told only thing wrong was mold trim missing on one side, i get there and theirs molding missing everywhere, paint chipping, rust, and rear end damage, i started the car and the valves chartered insanely loud and the salesman tried to assure me it was were it sat for a couple days lol. Not a good place to but a vehical, if theyd try to sell me junk then theyd have no problem selling it to you, very shady bad buisness.

Friends of the owners were taking about sex positions right in front of customers, people working there were cussing up a storm and the mechanics did not look professional at all. The 2 main guys were professional that worked in the office but the other people were not. Office was unorganized, clutter and paperwork scattered everywhere in the office, i will not go back again. Needless to say, i was only up there so my friend could buy a car. Not me.

My boyfriend bought his car here over a month ago and weve been patiently waiting for them to get the tags together for us yet, they still havent done so and they never return our calls when they say they will.

Bought a 04 jeep liberty from them less than two months later my motor blew up thank god I had a warrenty from the loan company, still paid out $400.00 out of pocket. Needless to say the loan people wont offer them the warranties any longer they said i was the second customer that had a problem from them that month. After they found this out they didnt offer anything to back up their car dont go here!!!UPDATE!!!My motor blew up after two months then my transmission gave out after 6 months! The bottom of my suv was so rusted and parts broke off the bottom, my car spun out and it almost killed me!!! Then last month my water pump went out!THANK YOU CRAVENS CAR YOU DAMN SCAMMERS!
