My fiance and I had a car that was a 2009 toyota. It kept stalling at lights due to needing fuel injectors; so instead of fixing it we decided to go to a known dealership to trade it in. We only owed a little bit left on it and they told us it wouldnt be worth trading in. So they were looking for 1,000 down payment plus using the cash back from the deal on the car. Which right now we couldnt afford and they wouldnt even work with us on that. So we had to leave. I decided after seeing the deivetime commercials so many times to try it out and I got qualified for a minum deposit. So we went to the store and Omar helped us he was friendly, honest, and very helpful every step of the way and because of that we ended up leaving there with a 2017 Nissan versa with $100 down. So, I would definitely recommend anyone to go there.

Honestly, the first time I came in it was a pleasant experience with the first guy I worked with. the 2nd time not so much, Tracy (a salesman) didn’t seem like he wanted to help at all, I’m 1099 so it was a little difficult but being in car sales myself for a long time I knew what to expect. he tried to get me to buy a car that was a lot higher in price, granted it did have a lower interest rate but the interest rate didn’t really matter to me bc I plan on paying it off in 6-12 months. he continued to tell me that the “compound interest” would automatically add $6-8k no matter how fast I paid it off. which I knew wasn’t true, bc majority of car lots charge SIMPLE INTEREST which means in simple terms the faster you pay it off the more interest it eats off the back end of the loan. and when I tried to explain that to him. he pretty much belittled me and told me I should know how this works bc I worked in car sales. LOL I DO know how this works. I even took the liberty to call to another DriveTime just to double check IF I was wrong, lol I wasn’t. anyway, buyers beware and if you don’t know how it works, make sure you do your research before they up sell you into a 20k or more car that you’ll be upside down in before you even roll off the lot.

Please, do not get a car from these people. You will definitely regret it. It will be the worst mistake you will do for do in your life. I can’t stress it enough. Please, please it’s the worst company ever. Way overpriced. They take advantage of the poor and the middle class. Interest rate is embarrassing. The cars are no good. You will have to pay major for their cars and any major problems they have. I had to replace my engine after a few months and still keep up with the pymts. It will seem like you will never finish paying for the piece of junk. You will pay 4 times more then any other lot. I got a 2013 GMC. I have spent thousands on this car on oil consumption. I can’t stress it enough I hate so bad that I made this mistake. I beg you don’t buy from them. This is the worst worst company ever

I had to put 2100 for a down payment. They told me I had 5 days to make sure I wanted the van . I took it back the 2nd day because I wasnt paying that much for a 2011 . They told me no problem my refund will take 7 to 10 day before I get it back . I gave them cash its been a month still no refund. Buyers beware

Absolutely the worst customer service.Don’t keep their words. Sells cars out from under you while your literally on the way to get it after confirming that you are traveling there, then try to offer you a less valuable vehicle for more money.

We bought a 2012 Silverado around 2 years ago. In July 2020, we had a misfire in cylinder 7. The repair shop said that the engine was extremely dirty, and it couldnt have possibly gotten that dirty within the timespan we had owned it for at the time. They also mentioned that they get tons of repairs from cars bought from Drivetime.

Worst experience at this dealership. I called and set-up an appointment to look at a vehicle (told them specifically which vehicle I wanted) and when I showed up they had the wrong vehicle pulled around front. They had to go to the back to get the one I wanted and when they pulled it up it was disgusting and dirty. After deciding on getting it (seeing through all the dirt), the manager and employees consistently pushed their own financing on my husband and I. They didnt know how to deal with a third party finance company and actually ended up writing up the vehicle purchase order wrong three times.Additionally, we told them on the phone - to the manager - that the car needed to be cleaned when we arrived Saturday morning to pick it up. We sat in there for an hour and a half before paperwork was drawn up and finished. Vehicle WAS NOT cleaned and when we said something - they took it around back - sprayed water on it and brought it back up front 5 minutes later. The manager threatened (4) times during the hour and a half that if they didnt receive the check from the bank in 90 days - they would come and take the vehicle.If I didnt love the car, I would have gone somewhere else in an instant. The management was terrible and not a single request was answered. DO NOT purchase a vehicle from this company.

Come in at 6:30 (which btw online you are able to set an appointment for that time) I knew they closed at 7 but decided to come on in because I desperately needed a vehicle. I come in money in hand ready to go. First the guy told me he couldnt use my income because my 90 days with my company didnt hit until the 15th and then said he could use my husbands income if he had hit the 90 day mark. I sent my husband in there and my husband clearly told him he could pull all utility bills and proof of income up online but the guy sent him out with a list of things and told us to come back on Monday. I have a job and cannot make it here before they close unless I come in yet again 30 minutes before they close but obviously any excuse will be made for them to not have to stay over a little extra to make some business.

I purchased a car here and during the test run, the car seemed to be in tip top shape. Before I left the lot I was having issues with the tire pressure light and I asked if they would be able to get it fix for me before I drove it off the lot. The response was you can take your car to the Nissan dealership down the road and they will be able to fix it. (Basically trying time make me drive it off the lot so it wouldn’t be their problem). Because I was in desperate need for a car I drove it off the lot. No later than a month of having it I began experiencing transmission issues. I called to make sure I was under warranty to get the car fix or to even return it. Well after talking back and forth with insurance and the warranty people I did not have the option to return the car for a better car and they ended up paying the bulk of the cost to fix my car. Now here we are and my transmission is completely done for it. I haven’t even had this car for a complete year and I’m having to look for a new car and not to mention I can’t trade in the one I have now because I’m financing it. All I’m saying is DO NOT GO TO THIS DRIVE TIME. They take advantage of people and mainly women especially when you really don’t know about cars in depth.

I brought a Nissan rogue 2 months ago. Do not go here they say they do a check on the cars they dont the car I brought needs a transmission and a new muffler system because of the transmission. Now I dont have a way around and they still want a car note paid its bs. I have a warranty but mr.transmisson on Dixie says they cant help because no one is shipping from china right now they werent help at all stay away. Im getting a lawyer an getting rid of this money pit!!!!

I came her for the first time last August, I got a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, absolutely loved my car untill I got into an accident in it, turns out my car had a active Recall On in in the breaking system. Well this past March While I was In the middle of my insurance and gap insurance to pay off the car, I went ahead and Got a new one since I was approved. I ended up getting a 2009 Ford Edge. Just in a few short months of having it Ive been dealing with Transmission issues. It runs fine But It clicks really bad. And Ive noticed its harder and harder to turn the car on. So I ended up doing a kelly blue book to see what my cars value is, its only worth $4,500 but im paying an $18,000 loan over the course of 5 years with a hell of alot of interest. Which is not right. Im just super upset with them. They are such money hogs. When me and my husband bought this car we didnt know much about cars just needed a car to get us back and forth to work. Ill never go here again and I recommend anyone else doing the same.

I dellership was good but the finance company they put me with which was bridgecrest were total rip offs my payments where 429 and I was paying 650 to get my balanced down fast but come to find out all my extra money wasnt going to the balance it was going to my next payment when I find out what they were doing 4 months later I was told i had to call them up after my payment posted to have the extra money put towards my balance every month so it made me pay more interest then I wanted to be pay right now

I wouldn’t even give it 1star. This place is a joke. Found the truck I was interested and the misleading website stated if I put my application in it would give me the interest rate and payment. After applying it gave me my credit score and instructed me to call the dealership for interest rate and payment. So I did that only to find out they want bank statements, pay stubs, and proof of identification. I tried to explain I just wanted an idea of what the interest rate and payment was going to be. If I wasn’t serious, then I wouldn’t make a hour & a half drive for nothing more than to waste time. Still I sent them all the information only to be emailed back that he apologized for the delay, he was with another customer. So 6 hours from to to finish. He did not email me the information as promised (I would be ashamed to put it in writing as well), yet he called me to insult me with 20%. As I laughed and thanked him for wasting my time. He back peddled and stated I did qualify for the high tier (whatever that means) and that quailed me for a 7.1 interest rate.... but on a totally different truck. I will bash this company all over the place. My experience is that of a buy here pay here scandalous lot which should not be in business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

My girlfriend and I came in simply to browse since her car broke down. There were so many options and even though she doesn’t have much credit history, they do financing based off your income, and we actually left with a car that day. She loves the car, and the monthly payments, and it’ll be paid off in only 3 years! Definitely ask for Nicholas if you go. He didn’t pressure us into any extra options or higher priced vehicles. Well deserving of 5 stars.

I recently purchased a pre-owned 2017 Ford Focus SE from DriveTime. I was satisfied with the experience. Devin Shaffer worked with me through the whole experience. He was very professional as wel as patient. As I researched the cars I was interested in, he worked to make sure they were within my budget. I will never recommend this company to anyone! They sale used cars that they know have issues at an very overpriced amount along with a high interest rate. Then they convince you to purchase a warranty on a vehicle that has issues that the warranty company won’t cover. Very misleading and upsetting! We purchased a truck from Drive Time that right after we purchased it the odometer stopped working, the speedometer stopped working and it is showing lights on the dash we have never seen before. After calling drive time we get transferred to the warranty company that told us we would have to drive it over 30 miles to the nearest Place in their network to expect it. Well we get a call the next day saying that the ABS module has to be replaced and it’s not covered under the warranty and it’s gonna be $713.00. Wow so not only am I paying a very high payment but now I’ve got to pay for this as well??? Drive time has lost our business for sure because I was looking to purchase another vehicle and it will def not be from them. As a matter of fact anyone I know In the market for a vehicle ... I will share with them and let them know my experience and not recommend them at all!

I worked in particular with Rex, who took great care to ensure that I had the best experience possible. The wait time was a bit longer than I expected, but it was largely due to an issue with the vehicle that DriveTime took the care to ensure was fixed before I drove off the lot. Im very happy with the purchase and will definitely recommend others to their lot.
