I have been disappointed over & over again with the Louisville Mercedes service depart. This is why I chose to purchase and service all my cars at Mercedes Benz of Fort Mitchell. YES, I chose to drive 90 minutes for excellent service. They appreciate their customers at MBFM unlike Louisville who’s building is 0.25 miles from my office & are unwilling to call back.
Always a great experience at MBZ Louisville (formerly Tafel Motors). I and other family members have been customers of this dealership and salesman Eric Torsch for 20+ years. There is a Mercedes dealer in our city and we drive a 200-mile round trip for all our sales and service needs. that should say something! Photos are of my most recent purchase from them!
Seth Culbertson was our sales representative. He was extremely helpful and attentive. More than that, he handled our unique situation smoothly and without complication and he demonstrated a unique talent in todays environment. He listened and remembered. As a result we got the complex problem of trading in a yet-untitled vehicle without a hitch.His operating explanations of the car we were purchasing were considerate of our low-tech background without being in any way condescending. Altogether, a very pleasant experience.

I called to schedule a routine service of my Mercedes. I had a few specific service questions and asked to get a call back from a service advisor. No call back ever came. They got me scheduled a few weeks out. I received a confirmation email about a vehicle I don’t even own. I call and talk to Brandy and she says it’s too late to get an answer and they would get back with me. I get a few random emails that don’t pertain to my exact car. I go in for service with Jimmy. Zero explanation of what is happening. I asked a few questions but no real help on my service. I droppedThe car off at 10am. I get a text at 11am that says I will be updated on my car. I text them at 4pmAnd the only response is “car will be ready after 5pm”. I text back a few questions and zero response. I call and ask for my advisor and zero response. Finally a call back that my car had been ready. I show up and Jimmy gives me zero explanation on my service. I’m told to wait for my car. About 10 minutes later I hear them arguing over their radio about where my car is. Very loud yelling: eventually my car appears but no apology from Jimmy or service team that has been staring at me waiting. This was my first service visit with my new vehicle. Very disappointed.
If I could leave negative 50 stars I would. Customer service here is horrible. Dread dealing with them in any way possible. Car has been taken in for repairs about 4/5 times now and truly, they do an amazing job at just cleaning it up a bit and handing it back to owner for it to break on its own again within a month. They are super vague about what they even do to repair the vehicle after they “repair” it, stating they “just reset the system” and they are big on “reassuring everything is good to go!” They also deliver bad news with a smile and a giggle! Had to yet again get my Mercedes (2019 CLA250) towed to them yesterday and they won’t be able to look into it until the middle of next week and they have NO loaners to provide as they are “overbooked”. So really, where is the customer service at this point? NOTHING is being done for any inconveniences. Also, Mercedes is probably going to call me after they see this review asking that I take this review down and they will push my repair to be done sooner and put me in a loaner car immediately… as they have done before. I did it in a nice manner last time, all was good and well but now I’m getting the sense that they’re having pity on customers this way and just getting things done their way. I’m not having it.

My husband and I had a great experience at Mercedes-Benz of Louisville. Efrem Lambert was amazing. There was no pressure and he was more than willing to let me take my time to figure out exactly what model worked best for me and my family. Once that was decided, he and his manager went above and beyond looking for that exact vehicle for me. And they found it! The purchase of the vehicle was very pleasant and once it was complete, the customer service didnt stop. Efrem and Charles Dominguez made sure the vehicle was clean and spotless before I drove it out the door. And Charles explained every feature for us. From the minute I walked into the showroom my experience was nothing but first class. No pressure, just pure attentiveness to my exploration of vehicles as I had never had a Mercedes SUV - always had Lexus and was so tired of the same look of the RX350 after 5 leases. Efrem Lambert was right there explaining all the features and allowing me to explore the vehicle. Within 10 minutes I wanted the keys to take a ride and test it out. One of the best automobile buying experiences I’ve had to date…Efrem and Jarress were professional and respectful…I previously went to the local MB dealership and had a horrible experience…I felt pressured from the introduction, my needs were not addressed and did not feel as though I was being taken seriously with my inquiry…my experience at MB Louisville was 2nd to none…even though we purchased an entry level model we were treated like the only customers in the dealership…as long as Efrem & Jarress are with MB Louisville they will be our preferred dealership!!!

We recently purchased a Certified Pre-Owned C300 from a MB dealership in New England - pretty close to home. We were interested in purchasing a 2 year CPO extended warranty from Mercedes-Benz. When we sat down with the F&I manager at our local dealership, we were quoted just under $4,000 for this coverage. We decided to do some research of our own, and came across Jeff Jackson who was highly recommended by past customers from around the country on several Mercedes-Benz forums. I decided to reach out to Jeff and see what he could do for the same CPO extension. Jeffs price was much more reasonable for the exact same coverage. He made the purchasing process extremely easy, and was very responsive to all of my emails and questions. I would highly recommend contacting Jeff Jackson for any questions/information regarding any factory Mercedes-Benz warranty extension or maintenance plans.

I sent this email to the service manager Mr. Shipp and he could not be bothered to answer my email, instead passing it off to Brandy.On Wednesday morning I contacted your service department regarding the A/C in my 2009 ML350. I spoke with Brandy and explained that I had previously had the vehicle in for service and that the issue is intermittent and the young man told me he could not find what was wrong with it and advised me the next time I had the issue to bring it in. I further explained that it was doing it again and could I bring it in. Brandy was more concerned about cancelling a Saturday appointment than assisting me with my problem. She further stated that the service department was very busy and again I reiterated that it is an intermittent problem and was doing as I was advised. She said she wouldhave someone return my call, that the advisor was not at his desk. I left both my office number and my cell phone.It is now Friday afternoon and I never heard from Brandy or anyone else from MB of Louisville. While I am quite aware that I only utilize service at your location periodically, I believe common courtesy and professionalism should be first and foremost regardless of my level of visits. Unfortunately, I live between 60-90 minutes from your location, depending on traffic so it is not always easy to utilize your dealership

10/10 highly recommend. Efrem was my sales tech and he was awesome. I showed up not knowing what class I wanted. He showed me every type and narrowed me down. He was patient with me and understood my budget. A couple days after my visit, he texted me photos of a beautiful vehicle that fit my class and budget preferences and I showed up that day. He and the finance office assisted me with purchasing it under my LLC as this was my original intent, to purchase a vehicle for my business. Everything worked out great and I’m a happy customer!

Why are the parts prices at this location double the normal prices of other Mercedes dealerships in any other State and online ordering? So ridiculous. I take my business through other dealerships and get it delivered home, better than paying DOUBLE the price at this location.

Great service from these guys and they didnt know me from anyone. Traveling from Florida to Michigan and hit something in the road alate on a Saturday night. Limped the car to Mercedes Benz of Louisville. When Monday morning rolled around I was at the door. Talked to Brent Harmon in service, and even though they were swamped on a Monday morning, they still took the time NOT ONLY LOOK AT BUT REPAIR my car the same day. Jeff Jackson is the best Ive dealt with from ANY dealers financial department. Financial person would always try to sell you overpriced plans etc at last minute when youre finally at the table, finishing paperwork and excited about your new vehicle. Jeff is an exception. He would explain to me patiently and honestly the difference between plans and how to choose. Strong five star!
Amazing service. Quick and efficient. My headlight went out on my way to TN which requires the car to go into the shop. Louisville Mercedes was great and even though it was 30 mins past their service hours they didn’t hesitate to take care of me and replace the bulb. I would recommend them to anyone for their dedication to put their customers first.

Took a 2020 Mercedes Benz E-350. David was a nice sales person helped with most of the stuff made the process easy. Charles explained all the technical stuff He knew all the features and explained them correctly. They did not clean the interior chrome missed a lot of spots but Charles noticed it and got it cleaned. He was really helpful. I am giving 4 stars not 5 because of the cleaning work. They really did miss a lot of spots. My overall experience was was awesome. Will recommend others to buy from this dealership. I hope they clean the car spotless next time. Because first impression is all you need.

Had a scheduled appointment and arrived on time and was told appointment was not in system and 4 cars where ahead of me. Showed attendant text communication with dealership. Only option offered was to wait or reschedule. No alternative resolution or apology was offered. Was told to go to another person to schedule a new appointment and this person found appointment in system but stated it must not had transferred to other system. Again no other resolution offered. Very disappointing customer service.
Service is Below Mercedes Benz standards, NOT friendly customer service and combative when you question their sales practices. Most employees are unhappy looking which is indication of poor management. I DO NOT recommend this location.
I have been buying vehicles from Mercedes Benz of Louisville for about 18 years. I have always been treated with kindness and professionalism. All of the staff is willing to assist you in anyway that they can and make you feel appreciated even if you are not buying the most expensive vehicle there. I have dealt with only two sales associates since I have started buying cars there and I felt like I was dealing with a friend as opposed to a sales person. The Sales manager was just as warm. I wont buy anywhere else.
My recent purchase of a new vehicle from Mercedes-Benz of Louisville could not have gone smoother. Todd Cherry had been recommended to me from a friend of mine. After a phone call to Todd about what I was looking for in a new SUV, I traveled to Louisville from Lexington. Todd was so courteous and knowledgeable. After test driving a SUV we went over the figures and made a deal. To get the vehicle with the right color, he contacted their sister location in Cincinnati and had them bring it to Louisville. Todd personally brought it to my home in Lexington bringing with him their Product Concierge, Charles Dominguez. Charles sat with me in the vehicle and pointed out all the new technology that is on the dashboard to be sure I understood everything. This was extremely helpful to me. Many, many thanks to Todd & Charles! Mercedes-Benz of Louisville is highly recommended by me.
This is the first dealership I have ever worked with that actually has integrity, and I have bought/sold and leased many vehicles over the last 30+ years as I tend to trade every 2-3 years. While working up the deal for my recent purchase, they omitted to calculate $1860 in sales tax that I would have to pay on the new purchase. Of course this omission was discovered the night I went to sign the final paperwork and pick up my vehicle. The sales manager, Jarress T.. accompanied the salesman back to his desk to tell me about the discovery. Jarress apologized profusely about the error, and said that as a result my payments would be about $30 more a month over what we agreed to earlier. Obviously he could see that I wasnt happy about the numbers being different so asked if they could give me more for my trade and/or more off the selling price in order to help reduce the difference - he agreed and did some adjustments in front of me that would narrow the difference to about $600 (still at my disadvantage). Jarress excused himself to go plug in the new numbers and was gone for what seemed to me an extended period of time. When he and my salesman (Shea) returned with a new sheet of paper in his hands, I thought to myself, what is it now... I was pleasantly surprised that when they returned, they had adjusted the numbers again and said this was completely our fault, and you should not be held accountable for an error in our accounting when we ran the preliminary numbers that you signed. We are going to eat our error and by adjusting your trade up higher and reducing the new car even more, we have absorbed the $1860 into the deal so the figures remain the same as you were quoted. I was absolutely floored!!! I truly believe this sales manager, salesman and dealership wanted to make the deal right. and the customer whole. I will be back as they have earned a customer for life. You can trust this team!!
Horrible experience with service department, extremely rude, had my car for months called multiple times only to be told someone will call me back. They never called me once. Take your car anywhere else if you can!

I had some license plate trouble and difficulty getting it off, and they took care of it very quickly. I would also like to applaud the dealership for taking all important safety precautions to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Everyone was wearing masks and maintained adequate distance while being very helpful. I am definitely planning on coming back for routine service needs.

Seamless and perfect experience. Not only does the luxury brand lives up to its expectations, so did this dealership. Negotiations were simple and quick over email, communication was exemplary by way of proactiveness, and there were no surprises. Jeff Hivious exceeded expectations. Picked me up from over 60 miles away to simplify my experience. They provided lunch and a quick process. More time was spent with vehicle familiarization as compared to paperwork.
Buying the car is fun. Driving, testing, selecting and all that. Then you have to make sure the ownership of the car is as much fun ....which next gets you to the finance department. My first car buying experience 8 years ago was terrible! So I was not looking forward to buying another vehicle. My husband and I are expanding the family so we needed something to fit our needs. We went looking Memorial weekend to a variety of dealerships and couldn’t find what we wanted. But the vehicle we wanted was more exciting to buy due to the experience at Mercedes-Benz of Louisville, it was excellent!!! Shea White was the best and so patient with me with ALL of my questions and concerns. If he didn’t have an answer for me he got one and got right back to me! The vehicle was fairly priced and just as described on the internet. They didnt haggle with me on my trade and gave me what it was worth. Best of all the car is a dream!
Our Sales Consultant, Mr. Todd Cherry, was great to work with: personable, helpful and diligent in helping us find a car that was not in the dealers inventory. There was no pressure ever to buy and we feel like we paid a fair price. We would definitely buy from Mercedes-Benz of Louisville again.
Horrible horrible horrible customer service and completely rude and disrespectful agents. I’m so disappointed in how poorly they treat us. Watch out folks if you get a car from them, any time there is an issue, they will create more problems and steal as much money as they can from you!
This was our sixth Mercedes purchased from Mercedes of Louisville over the years. We also bought a Benz in the early 80s from old Tafels at their Broadway location in downtown Louisville.From the Shelbyville Road location to the new facility off of Old Henry Road we also have always gone back to Todd Cherry.My wife and I have a comfort level with Todd. I brought my 2007 C280 in for a new key, and left not only paying for the new key, but was FORCED to pay for trim that theyre tech broke. It cost me extra money that I was not anticipating on spending. This is HORRIBLE business ethics and not recommendable. Shop around before taking your money and or Benz here. Update: I still have not been contacted by anyone with Mercedes-Benz of Louisville concerning this matter. Only proves that they DONT value their customers.

My experience with MB of Louisville was exceptional! Ian Pugh was absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with. I had to wait a few days to get my car from a different location to the dealership but I asked and Ian delivered. My GLB was all that I hoped for and more, absolutely love it! My transaction was seamless and hassle free, the absolutely most stress free car buying I have ever experienced. Test driving, negotiations and the finance office all was just seamless. I felt no pressure into buying a car I didn’t want or was not comfortable with. Everyone here that I encounter were so friendly and pleasant. I also had to return my end-of-contract leased vehicle and that process was completely hassle free. I essentially dropped the keys off and drove away with my new Benz. My passenger door mirror annoyingly tilts up (instead of down) when reverse is engaged...which is a pain when parallel parking...something I do regularly. Took it to the dealer and asked what was wrong with it. Service advisor told me its normal to tilt up and adjusted not to tilt too much. from advisors explanation I felt he was rude and ignorant. wish there is more MB dealer in Louisville. I dont think I will visit MB of Louisville for Buying, neither Service again.
Derrick Burns was my sales consultant, and he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with my decision. He didn’t push me to a newer model or try to up sell me in any way. Derrick even called me on his birthday after he was off work to discuss the vehicle I was interested in! Of course after this experience, I bought the car and MB of Louisville continued to surprise me with a thoughtful, high quality welcome package a few weeks later. Eric Torsch worst sales person on staff. Leased a 50k vehicle from MBL and he acted like he was a doing me a favor and he deals only with big shots during the entire experience there. This guy is downright sleazy. Bc of him I will never return to MBL. I will take my peasant money somewhere it is appreciated.
