If you like fresh, green leafy veggies that are affordable and you are in the Lowell area then you will love this store. Also, I asked for fresh cannolis one day and they made them there for me on the spot and they were delicious. Nice store and good prices.

WHY IS YOUR BREAD 2-3 DAYS BEFORE IT EXPIRES? Also I just bought those premade sandwiches they have at the bakery and I keep getting chicken bones in the chicken salad my teeth don’t like it,, so I’m not buying those anymore. Also your apples in your Apple Pie are too crunchy you need to bake them more to make them softer,, But I still love the bakery! The managers who make sure this shelves are stocked I definitely on top of things including the deli to butcher and the seafood station but the managers near the cash registers seem to give literally be doing absolutely nothing but bothering the elderly over then to getting their cards here etc... Example an old lady left her debit card in her car and the manager was an a****** instead of sending someone else to go with her to her car cuz it was ico he said he did 5 minutes until we put away your groceries

I love this store for nostalgia purposes, but the bigotry on display by floor management is unmistakable and off-putting. It is unfortunate that demoulas has a strangle hold on grocery in this area, as I would much rather give patronage to smaller more socially conscious vendors.

I am disabled, when my husband and I got there it was not very busy. It was around 7pm. But they used all the go carts to block register lanes . My husband tried to get one but one of the employees yelled at him saying we cant do that!!! But I am disabled why the HELL cant I use it!!I am disgusted with their customer service. Never in my life will I go back to that store!!!!

I shop at Market Basket at least 3 to 4 times a week, the workers there are very friendly and polite, if you cant find what you are looking for they go out of their way to help you, I find the prices are extremely reasonable especially if you have a large family to feed you cant beat there prices anywhere, I dont shop no other place but Market Basket.If you never shopped there try it you wont be disappointed.

Market Basket on Fletcher Street is great. I used to go to the Market Basket on Bridge Street. But they told me the name was Kevin and you also lied to me saying he was the general manager so he said I wasnt allowed there for 6 months and then I went there five months later and his other guy said you arent allowed in here but they still let me go. So the manager who said he was the GM but he lied. The reason Im not allowed in there anymore is they told me I assaulted some Spanish employee and that was a total lie. I am 56 years old I weight 110 lb. I was born at night but not last night. Then he got my plate number I sent the police to my house playing I was trespassing and I was drinking. The officer what is a gentleman and I couldnt believe that they let me in to get only a few goods and then sent the police. If you look on your tapes there is no assault taken place. He just didnt like that I criticized the way they had the two express lanes down to one and the other one was full service. This is while we had the pandemic going on it was at least 20 people in the express lane Bumper to Bumper no 6 feet apart from each other. Thats why Im not allowed in there anymore. So I go get my Meats in Salem New Hampshire McKinnons Meat Market and milk bread and all that little stuff I go to Fletcher Street. Mind you Ive been going to the Market Basket since 19 83 1 + Somerville also went to the one in Chelsea I lived in Everett for 20 years I am very disappointed Im not allowed in that store on Bridge Street. Just because you had some egotistic managers who cant take constructive criticism. I hope someone reads this and does something about this Ive been a customer for over thirty-six seven years I dont know something like that. Thank you for listening. And I did not assault anybody just check out the film obviously they have a picture of me and their office guy 110 lb beating somebody up that weighs 200 lb have a good night.

Store is always decently busy and lines to get in the few registers they have open. I go here almost every other day. Most of the time the staff is alright every once and awhile I will get one of the really friendly and competent workers. EX: today in line the staff was bagging and on their phone at the same time and talking super loud in Spanish with another coworker as we are checking out.Im sorry but Ive run retail stores and have had young kids working for me and I will never allow staff to use their personal phone in front of guest and to have a super loud conversation in Spanish at an already tight and loud register.

This market provide a variety of products for a large majority of people in Lowell(Latino, White, Asian, Black, etc...) at very good price.Majority of the workers are nice, respectful, and very helpful to everyone.The parking lot is a challenge around the Holiday, and sometimes, not all the time. Best time for anyone to shop early (before noon) and there wont be no problems.My family has been going there for years.

There was a child riding his bike up and down the aisle. No one pays attention to the one way aisles for social distancing. I saw plenty of staff and no one addressed the issue.

Its OK .... Ive seen other locations and some of them are renovated and modern this one still has that old school feel and look so needs work but staff are nice helpful and the younger lady at deli is super helpful and nice glasses white she goes out of her way to make sure u have a pleasant visit as opposed to the other Lady Jaquelin whos rude as hell tried skipping me and super attitude

This market basket is always pretty busy, the parking lot can be a bit of a navigation nightmare as can getting in and out on the Broadway side of the street. Overall the store is small for a market basket but you cant go wrong with their prices. Staff is friendly and they normally have enough folks at the checkouts to keep things moving reasonable manner. Its is busy though so if you do go to this one expect to spend a little more time than normal in the store and parking lot. Also drive safe there as lots of pedestrians milling about

Market basket is awesome. As youre walking through youll be shocked at how low the prices are for some things. I will ONLY buy my meat from here. They have a fresh fish counter, deli, and the produce section is pretty extensive. Also, you wont find meat or cheese ends anywhere else..you know when the deli gets to the bottom of a ham or turkey or cheese? They sell the end pieces super cheap..I buy a bunch of ham ends and throw it in some pea soup, and voila!

Nasty smell bad at times down by the cold cuts counter deli dept. And all around they have less staff than other market Basket i visit at times the donut pastries cabinets doors all broken stay open i have seen flying flies on the staff they well, they dont clean the conveyor wen spilled liquid on it, the same with that place where they put the bq chicken.

Its Always Packed. And they never have all the registers open. They always have at least four Lanes closed. But other than that its not Bad. They keep it clean and parking lot kept up.

We love Market Basket. Some locations are a bit more hectic than others but theyre all bust. We usually shop at the Fletcher st location. Its a bit more chaotic there, the parking lot is a bit harder to deal with. We go with a list to try to get in & out quickly but honestly, the lines are always long.

One of the smaller Market baskets in the Lowell area, but certainly one of the better ones. Besides not having a Markets Kitchen, They still have almost everything else you need for a full weeks worth of groceries. Just be careful about the parking lot as it can get very chaotic especially when its crowded. Otherwise, my favorite recommendation about this place is their awesome discount bakery aisle!

Best supermarket in downtown Lowell. But naturally it is a bit crowded both inside and out due to the city location. Prices are good because of the lower income demographic that shops there. Same products at lower prices.

It was a quick visit for some fresh seafood...sea scallops, haddock, and shrimp for my seafood bake!!!

There was a floor supervisor who said directly to. Cashier. Watch out people try to be slick and pass more than 20 items. I said really. He said ues. I told him, I have 16 items you want to come and check. When he saw I was upset he then said i wasnt talking to you in a rude and unprofessional. I will never go back again.

This is my main grocery store. Yes, the parking can be challenging at times and the lines can also be, however, the moments that this is not true exceeds the craziest of moments. No place is perfect, but for what Market Basket brings to the table, in terms of convenience, it works. For me, I can shop here with a determined budget in head and stock my kitchen with what I need/want, hands down.

This is a smaller Market Basket, yet I can usually find most of my shopping list. Sometimes its difficult to find a red basket for smaller shopping trips. The checkout staff are generally friendly and helpful. I like the diversity of ethnic food available.

Afortunaly is there only food shopping market in Lowell near downtown is upsetting but they have good food variety but pricy on the meats and other items people have to go to far off,Walmart or even dollar store just to save money

I like that place for grocery shopping. They have everything you need for a good price. Maybe the place has a little too much to offer and not so many employees to ask where to find what.

First time in this market basket it was quarter to 9 i was on my way home so i stopped at the first one i seen and very disappointed i went in for four things they had none of the four items how can a store be out of all 4 things that i wanted so disappointed so i had to change my .dinner menu and we now have no dessert very disappointed and as i was walking in the gentleman at the door outside smoking goes You know we close in 10 minutes i mean not a nice way to greet your customers im assuming it was a manager it was an adult male.well i definitely wont be going back to this market basket i thought the one next to my house on middlesex street was bad i guess ill have to continue to go out of my way to chelmsford

Its always a nice visit. I have no trouble at all, finding the items I am looking for. The staff is always respectful and curteous and most of all, well trained.

There was no carts left. One cart outside had been destroyed. It was crazy busy at 630pm. Spread out your grocery shop times. These got desperate. I go here cause my roommate makes me. Theres better out there.

It is all about location. This store is just a block or two from where I live. I only go here if I absolutely can not go to a different one when I have no car. This store smells funny. Like rotting fish. Staff is friendly enough. But then you also have to deal with the street folks begging for money every two feet . I feel so bad. Thats why I avoid like the plague I would love to see management offer trash removal or cart correll to these people for perhaps a five dollar grocery order. Spread kindness.
