I used to shop here until I started delivering here more and see they dont care about our electronic logs as a truck driver. It doesnt matter if your the first, 7th or last truck your going to wait a couple hours if not more. Doesnt matter if its a full load or one bundle. Prepare to sit if you deliver here.

I brought a load of OSB here this morning. The people I interacted with were very nice and unloaded me pretty quick. On the other hand, it’s a total cluster fk. They’re so busy with trucks coming in that there’s not enough room for all of them. Glad their business is strong though!

Worse customer service!! I have a project I was calling for pricing and for your days they were always too busy to help but “we will call you back”. No phone call back. The third and fourth day I asked to speak with the manager. Sorry he is not here. Hey maybe that’s the problem with the manager always gone the little mice will play and not work and take care of their customers. Well big box stores are getting my business

I have been sitting here 45 minutes waiting to unload. There has been no other customers around. Employees running around doing nothing. This place is a joke. I would give negative star if it was possible.

If I can give 84 Lumber less than one star I would. This supplier is extremely unprofessional/careless and that is an understatement. I had a scheduled delivery for a $200,000 home and come the time of delivery, they “forgot” about our scheduled delivery! NEXT, material shows up to job site and they send WRONG metal color. Now they tell us the rest of material will arrive 4 hours late. Absolutely unacceptable!*DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH 84 LUMBER*

Terrible quality wood product. Fifteen percent of the 2x4s were trash and unusable for framing project, another forty-five percent were so warped and twisted my framing job became much more difficult to complete. Ordered a single 2x6 and had to replace that too. Delivery driver showed up missing items, had to contact customer service to find out that they did not have what I ordered in stock. Rather than inform me of the shortage they decided to surprise me - it wasnt my birthday, nor do I like those kind of surprises. I expect better quality lumber from a business who identifies as a lumber company.

Ordered a front door with transom and French doors. They gave us a few catalogs to look through and order from. We picked our front door and gave them the catalog number. The door came in and it was nothing like what we ordered. Not even close. To get it fixed we just asked for our clear glass to be changed to frosted glass. At first they were not going to do it, but they gave in. They supposedly ordered the glass in August. It is December after Christmas and we still have not received them after checking periodically. Worst. Experience.

This lumber yard was a refreshing find for me! Every employee Ive met is exceptionally courteous and helpful and the lumber prices Ive compared beat the big box stores by far. I will be buying all my materials here.

If you want to save money and get quality lumber this is the place. Otherlumber stores must go for cheap quality and tack on quality prices.

My business account at 84 is an advantage. Great prices, and service on almost everything they offer.

I ordered some 20 foot long lumber last week, they told me I had to pick it up from Bluelinx. I picked up the lumber and took it to my jobsite only to find out they loaded the wrong pieces. The pieces were only 18 foot long. I was willing to keep the shorter boards and get a refund of the difference. They were unwilling to refund the difference. They said I had to take them back to Bluelinx and trade them out. So I paid for 20 foot long boards and only recieved 18 foot long boards.

Mostly building material sells directly to builders. Sells to public but there are better places for the home improvement person.

I do like there prices, but it took them 2 hours to get my lumber and another hour to get the correct lumber, I’m not very impressed with there guys in the back

I called for a price and they said can you hold a minute? Ive been on hold for 30 minutes and still holding while I write this. Sadly, this had happened before.
