It took over 2 weeks to get techition to check on our problem. And then were given a 5 hour window that he would be here. Which meant someone had to stay at home by the phone all afternoon for service tech to contact us. I have been with ADT for 10+ years and their service has definately gone down hill.

Ive had my system in place for 6 months now and not only did the tech and salesperson help me design a burglar alarm that took care of my family and pets but they truly took the time to discuss why I did or didnt need some of the equipment I had researched online ahead of time.I am now able to check on my pup when Im at work and even allow my dog walker in to the house without ever giving her a key or code. This thing as awesome. Depending on what kind of equipment you get system can get a bit costly but due to quality of service I receive, even having one issue after my internet was changed and ADT sending a tech out the same day, the cost most is definitely justified due to the level of professional service I recieve.I have since set up a system at my mothers house and she tells me everyday how much more peace of mind she has knowing Im able to check in on her system from my phone as a secondary user.Its a bummer some folks here have had a bad experience I went thru ADTs corp office vs some local dealer so not sure if that made a difference.

Please please save your hard earn money and stay away!!! We had nothing but problems. As a business owner we have 3 accounts with them. On our main location security shut down and they didn’t notify us. We had go to the location to find out that security panel is completely off. We requested a technician to come get this issue fixed and the earliest they could get here is 2 days really?? We spoke to supervisor and she didn’t even attempted to make this right. Will be canceling all 3 accounts and recommend you guys to go with company that can actually provide a proper security for your business

Cannot get ahold of anyone. When they came to install my equipment it cost me thousands despite them saying it’s free. They put a camera on side of house (that doesn’t have power) instead of the doorbell camera like I asked. I asked to regulate thermostat with the app. He did not do this. One if my bedroom door locks does not lock/unlock with the app. So frustrating.

Being a current customer with ADT, with our home and business, we contacted them for outdoor monitoring due to our equipment being vandalized and broken into. We called and the salesman came first saying they could monitor the cameras outside our business and we would own the equipment. When installing we found out they do not monitor this service at all and ADT installed a DVR instead. The salesman pressured us to purchase a quality service plan that if any of the equipment broke down they would fix at no charge. He also stated we could cancel this service and after talking about since its not being monitored we could just purchase a replacement camera or DVR if this equipment went down, so we decided to cancel this service. We have only had this installed for 2 weeks. Salesman and ADT refused to cancel this 3 year contract and the equipment was NOT ours as told or purchased. Come to find out what was paid upfront prior to installation was the installation charge. At time of payment we were told the cost was for the equipment and first month of the quality service insurance was what was paid. After the install we were given 7 pages of terms and conditions, which we could not read due to so small text and poor printing, which we didnt read at the time taking the salesmans word. If you want to do business with ADT get ALL of the paperwork upfront, read each and every page, do not pay them upfront for any equipment or service.

Stay Away!! I have had many problems with ADT. One issue I had was, they wanted to come out to check on my system because I wanted to leave ADT, and I told them that if it costed money do not come out. I even had them email me, stating that I would not be charged anything. I made my self perfectly clear if anything costed me money leave me alone. ADT came out and guess what. They charged me a gas fee because they drove from Amarillo. Stay away if you know what is good for you!!!!

I called to install a new system. The ridiculous automated system repeatedly placed me in the wrong area, and the run around I received trying to find simple information about pricing was ridiculous. She wanted personal information before she would tell me pricing. When I said no she persisted. I hung up. Wow, all the reviews I read were spot-on.

Never answer phone and never return my request to call me back. I have to call the home office to get a response. I was told they would come and check my system if I would renew my contract - that was over a year ago. My siren doesnt work and the salesmans phone is no longer a working number so thus my request for a call back...still waiting!

Extremely poor customer service. Overcharged for years. Poor attempt to make anything right.
