I have been going here for a long time. The only thing I dont like is how crowded it seems to get. They have great deals and sales that go on at the store and thats why I like shopping there. I get my meats and few other things my family likes.

Better than past visits. Store is cleaner than it was which is a plus. Most items in stock. Better pricing for the most part. Coming from a town where HEB was the primary Store and was well taken care of, this is okay but still has the feel of a lower end grocery store sadly. Staff were friendly and that was a plus. Getting better and I suppose thats whats important.

Awesome supermarket with excellent produce section! Especially liked the deals on those beautiful huge jackfruits!

Always the lowest prices in town AND they have coupons & deals throughout the store. Plenty of parking. We usually get in & out fairly quickly. The lines move fast if there is one. They also have stuff other grocery stores dont have, like keto bread, certain meats, & good variety of drinks.

The staff are friendly. A small store but still a great place to get groceries. Prices are great. Meat quality not the best for steaks but everything else is good.

Cannot beat the prices here. At least I havent found better prices. The only reason I give 4 stars is because Ive gotten bad meat from here more than once, but!!! They had no problem exchanging the product!We get our meat frozen instead, just to be safe, but thats just us. Otherwise, we do most of our grocery shopping here.

Well stocked shelves and lots of checkers at the registers. Busy but you can still get what you need and get out in a timely manner.

Well I have to say it was very good today, the young lady bag my stuff probably and put it all in the buggy right with heavy stuff on bottom I even comment ed her on a great job!

This place is crowded but its the only place I can go to get the robusto sandwiches

It was pleasant and not so crowded early morning. Because H.E.B. in little ol Lufkin can get mighty crowded starting 9a. I went by 6:30a and caught the lessor crowd and none busy store. I wish they had a more variety of vegan foods though. And I gave 4 stars only because there wasnt a very good amount of vegan foods there (and when I say a very small variety, I do mean small). But, outside of that the trip itself was great and the lines werent long at all. So, thumbs up to the employees there they were all nice and each one them spoke as I passed by them.

Clean store, pleasant atmosphere, and helpful employees. I love shopping here much more than the mega stores

Great prices on there product. Their mèat department had alot of variety. The deli had lots of specialty salads. I will shop there more often.

Low prices, friendly staff, and produce selection is unmatched in lufkin! There are cashiers at almost all registers, and plenty of self check out if that’s what you prefer.

I am a fan of HEB, love the selection and quality of their own products, their only downfall is the store is very outdated and Lufkin needs a bigger upgraded HEB, it gets very busy and it need to be bigger to handle having the amount of people that come in there everyday.Food for thought!!

Everything youd need. Texas two step chili base is amazing, but recommend using bison instead of beef.

Ok. This is an older HEB so took me a while to get oriented. But, I took a deep breath. And dove in. There were a lot of people there. It is a smaller store so selections were limited. The one thing I walked away with was how nice every one was. Hence, my 4 stars...its the people for me.

This store has a good deli with helpful clerks. Every time Im in Lufkin, I stop by mostly for the deli and produce section. Really good selection of bagged greens & salads. HEB is an outstanding grocery chain. Its my favorite above ALL others.

The best meat and prices in town. I can fill my freezer up for just 60$ worth and the quality of meats is also great.

HEB always has what I need and looking for. Clean store nice presentation and friendly staff make me feel comfortable shopping here.

Yeah. I stayed in the car.I was surprised to see that they ontained Guest WiFi.

Love HEB but its time to upgrade in Lufkin or let some other store in. They make entirely too much money for that store to be as ran down and dirty as it is! No gas station! No fresh market!

The store was packed and the cashiers and baggers were moving through them quickly while still being careful with your goods. HEB is sorely lacking on vegan items.

Ok so a couple of things I didnt like, Lufkin and Nacogdoches both need a superstore. Come on HEB we deserve it I love the deals the prices and truly wish you had a fresh seafood department in Lufkin. I lived in Belton texas and when they opened a superstore you couldnt make me go to the other superstore in town, most heb products as good or better than the national brand step up heb if you build it they will come

I shop here sometimes, they have quality foods at a better price than moststores. They are ALWAYS busy.

Great place to shop if youre working on staying within a small budget, your dollar will stretch further here.

I love the meal deals that was great I looked in my car and I thought I had a lot of spent a lot of money but I didnt so I save money I like it and its about 20 mi away but I think its worth it

Excellent produce choices both in organic and conventional. I really enjoy the shopping at HEB. It took me several visits before I decided that I like the store. Im not really sure why except that it is always so busy I had trouble navigating. Now I really love it.

I used there customer wifi for 4 minutes maybe less

1st time there and it was great. Every employee we interfaced with was great and knowledgeable and the lady that checked us out was such a wonderful person who helped me with the digital coupon information and her and her helper double bagged my canned sodas for me which is what I would have done if I would of been doing it. She was fast, accurate and handled our groceries like they were her own.Thank you Tiffany M. Our cashier.🙋‍♀️💞💞💞

I love this store. This was our First place to shop in Lufkin. But until they enforce mask, do you curbside, or the pandemic is over, we will not be shopping there anymore. It’s just not safe. Kroger’s will be our store, despite the extra driving.

Lufkin HEB always busy. The store staff sanitize all of the shopping carts at the door. Masks apparently not required or people are just ignoring mask mandates. Other than that great shopping experience.

I really wish we would get an HEB in nacogdoches. I love shopping here for the many different varieties. I also love the prices on the meat.

This is one of my favorite places to shop with the new rise in the virus cases it scares me a little to shop here now. the level of customer service and the availability of product that you need makes you shop there I have never went there and not found what I came for. The freshness, quantity, variety and prices will keep me coming back. No I dont mind the drive from Nac to Lufkin. Just like I dont mind the drive to Tylers Super one the prices the availability of product and #1 customer service makes it worth it.

Clean store, outstanding service. But the one thing that stands out above any other store in Lufkin is there covid-19 safety measures. while some stores have slacked a bit on safety measures, HEB has stood firm with the guidelines and continues to do a remarkable job to ensure customer safety

Very little can be purchased for pickup on the website. They advertise pickup but its not real.

I am grateful that we have an HEB here in East Texas I just wish it were bigger also they do not offer curbside pickup.

While I love HEB and regularly go to the next county to shop there, there are so many people without masks and the manganese wont even try to enforce masks that I dont think I am going to go anymore until this is over.

Usually too crowded, but good product and the best prices is the reason. Several other places have good product, but dont even try to compete. If I just need to get a couple of items, I stop where its easy and quick. If its Grocery Day, HEB! They dont try to gig you with every buy. If your outside of town, its worth the drive!

Otis Redding is on the song rotation. Yes, the house brand is of decent quality and priced correctly. Yes, the produce is priced in a way that fits the budget. Brothers and sisters, until you have heard Otis Redding and the Stax Studio session players as you wait in line with your six-pack of beer and ingredients to make beans, rice, and cornbread youve never had the best experience grocery shopping you possibly could. Five stars because somebody cares.

One and only HEB in lufkin-Nac area. Its good but there should be one is nac too.

So I’ve been coming to do my boss’s lottery tickets maybe for about 2 months here it’s always a lump some since he buys so many a day. They just add up. Anyhow everyone has been super friendly. Today I show up the girl that was there today Esmeralda was very rude very unprofessional. There always has to be that one employee that hates their job! I tried to keep my mouth shut just because I work in customer service but she was asking for it. I spoke to a manager very friendly very professional. Doubt she got in trouble! I just hope she doesn’t have to help me again ever because I do my grocery shopping here as well.

Hey is great we only shop for groceries once every month so we get a lot of meat and always end up walking out with 2 buggies full of food and fresh vegetables, hand down the best place to do grocery shopping .

Always a great place to find that random ingredient you need for that special dinner plan.

Parking is the worst and its too crowded.
