We bought a brand new washer and dryer from Sears here in Macon GA 3 months ago and the washer broke in a week, water started leaking non stop, and it never spins or clean my clothes! we had included the service warranty upon purchasing and they came about twice to check it but never got fixed. We kept calling the store and customer service and they kept giving us the run around saying they’re ordering the parts or can’t replace the washer and that they will give us update in 3 days which they never do so we end up calling them and guess what?! They still kept blaming each other, store says call customer service, customer service says call store. I just want a working washer at this point or my money back! This is the worse experience ever!A week after I posted this review:Finally a manager reached out to my Husband, think his name is Martin and they finally decided to just bring us a whole new washer. Thank goodness! I wished it didn’t took that long but I’m just glad I have a working washer now.

The price of the items are higher than searching for the same product online, in fact the sears items on the web site are cheaper than at the store. Im not trying to disparage their business, its just my opinion 🤷

I went to work and spent the night away from home the night my refrigerator was hit by lightning. It was only appliance, in my house not on a surge protector. The next morning I discovered that everything was ruined. At first I called and looked at used refrigerators all day. I decided to buy a new one, after looking another full day I walked into Sears. Their kind and friendly staff helped me pick out the refrigerator of my dreams, at a very affordable price. They did everything I asked of them and more. Within the next year or two every appliance in my house will be from Sears. I love, love my new refrigerator. Thank you so much Melissa, Wayne and all the great people that make buying my refrigerator so amazingly easy.

So glad this store is open. Bought a Kenmore upright freezer for what I thought was a really good price. I did shop around for the rt size freezer I needed. I stand by Kenmore products though. Has had a washer and dryer for almost 31 years before I had to get rid of them. The washer had washed its last load. 😁 The freezer was delivered for a small delivery fee and they took away my old upright freezer. Michelle was very helpful very friendly very knowledgeable. This will be the place I go when I purchase a new refrigerator.

They were very helpful when picking out my oven and dishwasher. Contacted me when they were headed to deliver and followed up to make sure I was happy with everything. Customer service exceeded my expectations. They cleaned up after installing everything and removed my old appliances. Will be recommending them to others.

Ok I’m gonna start off with this. Bought a self propelled push mower. From this store. I used it like maybe 5 times in the summer of 2018 and at the beginning of spring of 2019 the mower would not start so I called and spoke with rich and he told me to bring it down. Which I I did takes me about an hour to get there. They took the mower and called me a week later and told me to come pick out a brand new mower of my choice on store credit. Which I thought was awesome! I say that the customer service was a 5 star between all of the employees in there they deserve 5 stars and do not listen to none of the negative comments from no one!!

2-19-18 My husband & I went to closest Sears store (4551 Billy Williamson Drive, Macon, GA) to select new dishwasher for warranty replacement (we had purchased our last dishwashwer - a Bosch - at the Sears store in Columbus, back in 2013, but that store is closed).Macon Sears store personnel knowledgeable and professional - helped us get what we wanted/needed within warranty authorized amount.2-23-18 Macon Sears folks delivered & installed new Kenmore dishwasher and removed old nonfunctional Bosch. No extra charge - covered by warranty replacement. Delivery & installation folks prompt, courteous & professional. My new dishwasher is working great - I am very pleased! Next time we need a major appliance Kenny Johnsons Sears store in Macon will be the first place I look. Highly recommend!!!!

Went to purchase a new washer and dryer after seeing a great deal online. I was about to leave after waiting a while for someone to actually come to help me but I’m glad I decided to stay. Found the same appliances in store, not for the same price as online but pretty close. He scheduled me a delivery date, called the next week with a time, and my new washer and dryer got delivered on time. They installed and hauled away my old appliances with no issue. After searching online for new appliances, I’m glad I did business with Sears. They even followed up with me to make sure I was happy with everything.

Nice little store with Craftsman tools and all kinds of large appliances. Helpful staff. I went there for a hedge trimmer and they only had the display model on the sales floor but the associate got another one from the back storage.

Okay, so the store manager here is an absolute jerk!! I called this morning to ask about price matching. I’d seen a Kenmore Dryer on sale on the website for $324.99 and wanted to know why the price was different than I had seen in the store on yesterday. I called and talked to the store manager Demetrius. He promised to double check this and call me back at 9:00 am. He never called back. I decided to reach back out to him after work at 5:00 pm. I was placed on hold forever. I hung up and called a 3rd time. The manager was extremely rude and basically insulted me. He said the dryer I saw was in Winsconsin and unless I planned to go there and pick it up (first unprofessional remark) then I wouldn’t get it for that price. I explained that I didn’t see a specific store and I thought price match meant that if the same exact item was advertised for a lower price it would be honored!! This is the really unbelievable part...the STORE MANAGER whose name is DEMETRIUS said to me, “It’s not my fault you didn’t read or that you can’t read.” He had the audacity to insult me over a $75.00 price match. Apparently he feels comfortable talking to potential customers however he feels like. I told him that his lack of professionalism was appalling and that I would purchase a Kenmore somewhere else!! He replied by saying, you won’t be doing that because only Sears sells Kenmore dryers. I wouldn’t buy a dryer cord from this guy, much less a dryer!!! Do not spend your money with people who don’t have common respect for others. If I could give them 1 star I would because his customer service sucks!!!!

Purchased a convection oven and a dishwasher from this store and also got it installed. Store employees (not a subcontractor) installed my units and hauled the old ones off. They have called twice since then to make sure I was satisfied with the items purchased. Store also has a 14-day return policy in case you dont like the product. The installer also made a complementary trip afterward to make sure that the dishwasher wasnt leaking a the connection points.

My mom came in an spent over 10k. She purchased a heating and air unit from sears with a warranty, that no one wants to honor. Every since day 1 it has been nothing but a burden to her, still having to shell out more and more money. Sears customer service sucks, and they are about to end up with a lawsuit from this one unhappy customer.

Well it was made pretty clear why this store is closing. I am a strong supporter for Sear and always have been. At Christmas time I was there doing shopping and rather than sales associates working the register, two in the clothing department were texting on there cell phone while I stood there for several minutes . Next visit was to the tool department to purchase dado blades and a palm sander, poor girl in tools was clueless and just very unpleasant. I feel bad for the closing, but management did it to themselves.

We bought a Kenmore washer from there a few years ago. The washer is now broken. Called to ask if we had bought the extended warranty and the guy who answered the phone said they dont keep records. I called back again and talked to a woman who also said they dont keep records. When I asked if they had gotten all of my information for fun when I bought the washer if they dont keep records, she miraculously brought up my information. Pretty incompetent people work here!

I just bought a lawnmower. The sales associate Joharren was very polite and helpful and the manager Bradley was really knowledgeable about the products which help tailor my decision. They even carried the mower out to my truck. There was a non critical part on back order which Bradley has gone so far as to call me to give me status updates. I would recommend Sears for their products and Joharren and Bradley if you have questions.

AVOID THIS PLACE RUN RUN RUN AWAY.Bought a washer online. called to make sure it was pulled out and ready, man said yes. went on my lunch break to pick it up. NOTHING WAS PULLED OUT OR READY, AND ALSO HAD TO GIVE HIM TICKET 2WICE TO GO GET IT. TOOK 4EVER. they just wheeled it outback and I Had to ask for help to put it in the back of truck. Got it home installed it. worked fine 1ST LOAD NO PROBLEMS.Second load started went to sleep and then it should I say quit.. My towells were stuck in it and lid was locked and no power was on it anywhere. My outlets were fine it was just dead. so to make this shorter after talking to store owner who was terrible and 1-800 customer service they didnt agree on a fix. told me 10 days before anyone could look at it. IT IS NEW. After 2 days I was offered a floor model at no discount. then next day he said he would take $30 off cause that was special last month. meanwhile lady at customer service said they would deliver a new unit at no cost but store wouldnt get one for at least 5 days. well then I got district managers number and he offered me free delivery. What a joke he was. Meanwhile I had my electrician friend look at it and he replaced a piece for me while my wife and I were out of town. All I wanted in exchange for a so called free delivery was a service agreement that was cheaper than their own delivery charge and they kept saying we cant do that we cant do that. Well my experience is you cant do a lot of things. The store guy Kenny dodged me for several days then finally after I sent Sears several things he called me to see what he could do. I said nothing. No one knew how to open it without power and he thought I was on hold but I heard him say we couldnt do anything with clothes stuck in it. Well $200 worth of towels are now sour rags to clean up outside stains. Had to replace full load of towels. They offered nothing. Im sure someone will reply with we tried we tried well they didnt do a damn thing to help me. Karma will find these pathetic excuses for human beings one day and if My post keeps 1 person from getting screwed there it was worth it. All I wanted was future protection and you thought I asked for a new one and a refund. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE.The worst Customer service Ever. Avoid at all cost.
