Nothing out of the ordinary youre typical Coco home depot located in Macon Georgia. I have to say they are Much better than going to a Lowes and seeking help, Lowes has pretty much Shied away from helping customers you actually have to find an employee. You can clearly go to home depot and find that professional help as long as thats what you want. I really enjoy home depot every opportunity that I get to visit a location since where Im at we have no home depot.
My favorite store on the planet besides VS. They are always super helpful and polite, unlike some other stores where u have to request a staff member for help from the check out counter.
I went in to purchase and new doorknob. The greeter greeted me in an enthusiastic, professional manner. She noticed I had my old doorknob in hand. She said, The doorknobs are on aisle 9 and on the right. I went to aisle 9 and THERE THEY WERE! Yes there ARE people at the warehouse stores who know there stuff and will help you! Thats why Home Depot is my go-to for most home-related things.
Staff is not knowledgeable of what they sell. Just like their big box competitor.
Love this place and love that they give a military discount
The Macon Ga store personnel are so much more courteous than the Warner Robins Ga store. Well worth an extra 20 minutes of driving. Product knowledge and experience helped me make a decision even though it was an upgrade by 50.00, I feel I was treated like a person and not a number. Thank you Mr Watson for such a great customer interaction. If all stores had this type of customer service people would possibly spend more time and money closer to home.
Good place for household needs & some products are cheaper than Lowes.
Inventory is low on most building materials. Prices are off the charts high. $90 per sheet of plywood. $50 per board for 1x7.25x12 hardi plank trim !! Employees are scarce. But the 2 cashiers were cordial
I needed 1 piece of gutter. Home Depot beat Lowes by over $1. The only problem was that no one was willing to cut the 10ft gutter (cant fit in my car). But, I had prepared by bringing my own metal snips.
Home Depot is a great store. Unfortunately, sometimes it is hard to get in and out quick. Things can be hard to find, and it can be hard to get a truly knowledgeable person. They have just about everything you might need for home repairs and improvement. They often have great deals. Better organization would be helpful.
Well stocked and easy to find what you need for that home project.
ATTENTION HOME DEPOT: MS. TAMATA FRAZIER DESERVES A RAISE!!! :-)I went in the Presidential Parkway Store, # 1772 and had to buy some blinds that were of an odd size. An associate named Tamara Frazier came to my rescue. She was very courteous, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. She was a ton of help. When I got home to install the blinds, they were perfect.Thank you Ms. Tamara Frazier for helping me.
Very understaffed took 20mins to get assistance to be told they dont carry what Im looking for. Will say they were pleasant and apologized for inconvenience.
Of all the home repair type places around here this is definitely the best due to:1) Prices ( on most items I compared)2) Selection ( ALMOST every thing other places have )3) Customer service, while not perfect it is much better than the next most convenient place. I would rank them 2nd in this department.4) Convenience, I can walk out my door and drive there in about 5 minutes. Im conveniently located between this and the other places but I almost always pick HD
Located near Kroger, Ross, Sears, ALDI, Papa Johns Pizza and more. Entrances around Eisenhower Parkway, Log Cabin Dr and Billy Williamson off of Mercer University Dr and Columbus Rd.
Its home depot. Unless.you have an anger issues no probs
That have nice and respectable workers and I like that. Congratulations Home Depot
Employee asked if I needed help and I told him what I needed he said ok hold on and went and helped someone else. LOL.Oh well found what I needed!
Always has what Im in the market for. Love theme music too.
I just want to give rick, James and the flooring lady a giant shot out!! I didn’t get the flooring ladies name, but she great! THEY ALL WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Helped me find a vacuum that no one had, they spent 45 min tracking me down one. Absolutely extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you SO MUCH!!! Solid team there!!
I had my whole house floored recently through the Home Depot. The crew from Stone Mountain did an utterly phenomenal job and I am ecstatic. I had new Pergo flooring installed throughout my house, and my shepherds are loving it!
Located item online and picked it up in about 15 minutes. Fast, friendly transaction.
I went in to look at a stainless steel deep freezer I stood there for like 20 minutes waiting on the lady to get off the phone to ask her a question, she continue to talk on the phone so I just left that was not good service at all.
Service is not that good. However, they have everything I need all the time. They seem to focus on being well supplied. Yet, this time, I wen to buy a fridge. They did not have the model I liked. It was on display, but not in stock. I had to order it and it will not be delivered for 7 weeks. That is terrible.
Hustle and bustle but great place for needed items for home
Had just what we needed.
I went to 3 different people each referring me to another for help. The 3rd employee called for someone to help me in the pvc pipe area. I waited no one ever came.So I walked around until I found a forth person who didnt work in that area. I wished I had gotten this young mans name. He showed me just what I needed without hesitation. He deserves a 5 star rating!Ive been going to this Home Depot for years. Its too bad they dont read the reviews & ratings, and make needed changes or have better trained employees.
Some good employees same not in stocks items
Been shopping at Home Depot for years and have spent THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AT THEIR STORES! Went today and wanted to return a 149.00 roto tiller... This was never opened and is brand new. It was purchased on 4/18/21 and today is 5/30/21. The manager in charge would not return it. I even asked to just get store credit and she said NO WAY! I know if i would have just returned it without a reciept they would have given me store credit no problem bit I did the honest thing and got screwed! Time to move on and explore some other outlets for my needs and I start with LOWES. Thanks for taking my money for all these years.
Great place. Friendly staff. Did have a lightning issue
We had to wait over a hour for help to get ac window unit Sunday 8-1-21 the worst experience Ive ever had at Home Depot.
Peggy was amazing! She recognized the befuddled look on my face and immediately offered help. She helped me to find exactly what I needed.
I like the Greensboro store the best. Good supply of items, helpful staff.
I do love Home Depot and their selection. I hope today, they were short on help but my experience was not a good one at this store. Step it up guys!
I’m here at the Macon Home Depot with 8 employees at customer service desk and other employees walking around in the wrong area. I have ask 3 times to get help in plumbing and the only person that can help me is outside loading a truck. Been here waiting for 35 minutes I guest I need to go to the Dublin store. Do they hire employees that know their field or they just hire for help..??? I’m out of here and will not be coming back.
Lovve this place. I had something to return because I didnt really need it. I bought it back in October. They let me return it for store credit. A great place to shop.
Got a good deal on a lawnmower but when we got to check out it rung up wrong. The lady made my husband go take a pic of the price tag instead of calling somebody that works there to do it
Men’s restroom had no soap. Look I know most men don’t wash their hands but for those of us who are not nasty, and to be COVID safe there should be soap.
The staff is always very helpful and there is always a good selection of items to choose from.
I love this store. So much better than the alternative. Friendly staff, well laid out, and they usually have what I need.
I went to home depot looking for the Honda weedeater. But they didnt carry it.Advertising said they did, thats why I went to see which one would be perfect for me as a woman.
Always clean and good service.
Its didnt have what I wanted but I could order it and that is a good thing.
This store in Warner Robins ga is a better store to shop at than Macon Georgias store is
Great curbside pick up! I just ordered online, and in a fairly short time I get a text that its ready. When I arrive at Home Depot they have clearly marked Curbside Pick Up spots. You park, call or click an online link and within a few minutes someone brings you your stuff. Easy!!
Great products, excellent service and awesome prices
Great deals, but was crowded no social distancing in the aisle. I got what needed & quickly left. They had great deals on poinsettias!
Love em all I can say great employees much love from this way!!!!
Employees were not helpful in finding what I needed.
Helpful staff and very beautiful ladies who work here!😉 But in all seriousness the staff here are quicker to help than other hardware stores.
I love visiting stores when the staff is helpful and friendly. Thanks
They have all the adult kid toys
This is the better store in the area. I dont seem to have trouble finding what I need for just a homeowner/diyer. Theyve generally been helpful as well.
Retail sales has become a lot more iffy as a profession during the corona virus era and it shows at times in the attitudes of the people who work cash registers for their paycheck. Happily today wasnt one of those times. Im a frequent customer of our local Home Depot so it was unusual that I needed help on 3 separate occasions in todays foray into the grown-up males version of the toy store. But in every instance the Big Oranges employees were up to the task in both knowledge and bedside manner. Each went out of their way to make sure I left a satisfied customer and all exhibited manners that would make their mothers proud. As a result I was indeed a satisfied customer as I pushed my heavily laden cart through the exit doors into the heat of another scorcher in middle Georgia.
You cant get help in there
I had the unfortunate experience of trying to shop in the Home Depot in Macon Ga yesterday (March 23, 2021).We are remodeling our kitchen and I want to purchase new quartz countertops. First, I couldnt find anyone to help me. There was a sales rep there in the beginning but she was talking with someone else. Then I turned around and she was gone! Never asked me if she could help me. I finally found her and we came back to the countertop area and I chose a countertop from a sample. I asked if someone would come out and measure my countertops and she told me no, that I would have to measure myself and bring the measurements in and then they would send someone out to measure my countertops. I couldnt believe it!!So...I took my 4K countertop budget elsewhere and I have someone coming to measure and then I will place my order.Ive always said, Home Depot could give Lowes lessons in customer service but that was not the case yesterday. Ive shopped in this store for years and have never seen anything as bad as what happened to me yesterday. This store was almost completely empty of sales people.Never again!
This HD is a disaster! Customer service was almost nonexistent. I felt like I was in a Dollar General.
I liked it.
Organized, friendly staff.
Not good for online curbside order. Unclear instructions on curbside parking area sign. Online instructions no better, Return text gave an apology for inability to follow through on store to curbside acknowledgement. Had to walk in. However, customer service inside store was great!
We were looking in garden for ornamental grasses and asked an associate about them. He referred us to the flooring department... No clue why - maybe he didnt understand the question...
Home depot the best place to shop for garden, flowers and trees.
Now, this used to be my only hardware store. Not quite sure what happened, think I went to Lowes for something one time and got stuck going there. I had to get an item that only they had and it reminded me how good this store is. Plus now theres not a lot of crowd there so you can get in and out. And they still offer the veterans discount.
Nice store wish we had one closer
Very nice, clean store and employees are A+.
Made an order online. Went to the store to pickup and items were ready and waiting. Store was clean, nice staff and they follow Covid-19 precautions.
Clean store hard to find a employee to help but overall good place to shop
Sometimes it is hard too find a co-ed
Selection has gone down over the years
Tried to get a quote on some windows and there was no one in the store that could help me. I ask multiple people and no one knew who to go to.
I rated a 1 only because there is no score lower. I have called to speak to a manager multiple times, and after holding 30 minutes or so each time, I finally hang up. Nobody will speak to me about my appliance delivery or the fact that they were delivered damaged.
This location needs to work on the curbside, pickup and over all customer service. Not all people are using this for Covid, store pickups have been a silver lining for other reasons. The HD app notification tells you to wait... And you wait. If its near 6pm (the cutoff), no one is coming at all but the App assigns the ready time to 6-9pm. Today, I sit until calling again from outside. I state I can come inside, but limited on how far I can walk asking for which door is the shorter distance. The lady on the phone says she cant see my order, offers to look it up and someone will come out. The line goes dead after a few minutes. I move the car to the customer entrance where you cannot park, behind another car. The regular parking area is still too far for the issue, so I park the car to the Pro area (I have an account). Ive picked up larger things here over the years, but Im in a compact car. Another customer wants this spot for his truck instead of looking beyond to the 2 remaining spots. Two employees standing outside should wonder why Im moving the vehicle by now. Yet, I have to climb out and ask for help. My little car is in the way of this big cart, so I think thats what the other customer needed to get at this spot. The employees are just standing there. The other customer apologized for his rudeness later, he didnt know, so no big deal with him. However, this has been with each curbside order- involves me going inside at this location. Id been in an accident leaving me able to walk in spurts. Home Depot promotes use of a service that cant be provided at this location without becoming a total inconvenience.Today was just enough.Try it yourself, youll wait an acceptable 20 minutes, but then youll have to call after 30 minutes, get through the call menu, placed on hold, then get it yourself even on the slowest day. Also, the app, email, and text notifies you that the order is coming out, not telling a person to go inside. This is important for people with physical limitations to know. The customer service is not going to ask you do you need help. Several will see your car parked at pickup and still go about their way. Sorry, I dont see an order, but I can check, is too common. Take your receipt, cane, wheelchair, or get someone else to do the pickup. The employees cant spot disabilities and issues that are not 85 year old seniors. At least train them to wonder of a vehicle strangely moving to the door. Its not going to slow down the store and the orders are already paid. I saw another elderly lady struggle to get out her car in front of me, not a single employee offered to assist and Im glad she was not alone. I knew Id not get helped appearing younger. I pulled forward to the Pro area parking having to flag down the two standing, doing nothing, then pull up my order on my device. All of these employees and no sense to see whats going on or at least ask. Or, the employee on the phone could have said a customer is outside coming inside to pick up her order. Maybe its the area, or the whole company but Lowes and Ace are not this bad. Someone will eventually ask have you been helped at these stores.Home Depot always has the parts in stock, I ordered today... It probably was not ready though I was notified it was, again. I could accept this, even slowly made the walk inside but would anyone been there to give me the order? Historically, no one is there at the counters if you need paint or wood cut, no ones helpful during the gardening months, you hold for services or installation, rental I havent bothered with yet.... Nothing. Its self-service and disregard until you manage to get someones direct attention. I also recall I was helped before and the employee wanted me to do the survey, forgetting how long that pickup took; It was supposed to have been ready for pickup per the notifications. I would like to give a better review someday, but I cannot this evening. Even if you can walk inside, its an inconvenient wait on pickups.
Nice and Clean Customer Service was Awesome
Much more professional than NW Macon Lowes and had my pickup ready ahead of schedule. We are renovating a house and finally switched to this location- despite Lowes being much much closer, to ensure we only make one trip and no wasted trips. We were devoted Lowes folks, but the customer service here will keep us coming back.
Like shopping here, good deals. One suggestion though... Figure out a better way to display Sod and how to move it from point A to point B without it falling apart.
It was awful could not get any help loading lumber said they have no help
At my local home depot looking at flooring, and they have no samples of what I would like to take home to put on floor to match up with paint to just get an idea of which one I want, so iam told by sales rep. I would have to purchase boxes of each sample to take home then just bring back, REALLLY are u $#@! Kidding me, Lowes here I come.
Everything was neat and well organized. I liked how the manager went out his way to meet the needs of his customers even when he didnt have to.
Always been a Home Depot guy until today. Went to purchase a new Dishwasher and after waiting for about 30 minutes I finally received help. There was a specific one that had the in stock sticker that I wanted and came up for. Thats when I was told they do not in fact have it in stock. So I asked to purchase the floor model...denied again. She stated the only ones in stock were the used double the price ones or one other floor model of a different brand than the whirlpool I wanted. No additional discounts were offered for the slightly damaged floor models and I wasnt able to use my military discount. Needless to say I didnt purchase due to it being 100 more than the original model I wanted. Will not be coming back here. The one positive is the lady who works over in carpet installation always driving around and moving stuff on the forklift. Easily the best employee Ive encountered at the store numerous times now. She always gets someone to help me and even tried starting the process for me after noticing I still hadnt been helped.
Love this home depot. The associates weve dealt with are always professional, and willing to help in anyway they can.
I love it but the drive thru is always full and the parking lot is small.
Was happy to see they had discounted tile but it took over 2 hours to get the order done. Same has would have taken half the time at lowes.
I appreciate their variety of plants for the growing season, HOWEVER the mens restroom was greatly understaffed as toilet paper was seriously lacking and even on the floor in one stall.
Found every thing I was looking for.
Found all I needed, small problem at register
Ive got to say customer service goes out of their way to help customers
Put lock on it! That is all I needed today! Sure glad you are my Home Depot!
Do not go to W. Macon location unless ur a professional builder and know the exact location of any product that u need....my visit there a week or so ago was already lacking customer service, but this one blew the icing and the candles off the cake....this visit is classified as the absolute most horrific customer service experience of my life....Ive had better service in jail as to put it lightly....NO I will not recommend this loacation to nobody or nothing, not even a hungry termite that walked the distance I drove for a bite of wood....really if I couldve given this experience 0 stars I wouldve but the manager did at least offer some assistance to me with finding a resolution to the products I was missing from my online order and locating the last material item of my physical list even if it was almost an hour after they closed!!! Maybe its just the staff there and not the whole corporation that possess awesomely powerful customer run-for-hills qualities...
Betty Sue is the so nice and understanding.
I never walk in and go Should of went to Lowes I know they have it because I think Im glad I came here because Lowes never has what Im looking for.
Staff was helpful when I couldnt find the right screws I needed. Thank you.
So much items. Which helps in being able to pick up at the moment
Shame they dont acknowledge that a Vietnam veteran doesnt qualify for the military discount. That is why I shop Lowes for most of my needed items. With proof of service on my drivers license truck tag showing Vietnam War vet and a copy of my 214. Lowes is proud to offer the discount.
Great place
They had what I needed and saw online, great supply.
