I bought a queen double pillow top four weeks ago at the insistence of a friend. The mattress should be quality, is getting more comfortable but does take some getting used. To be honest I wouldn’t go back. I asked questions in the store that I never got a straight answer to and found the answer to my question after the mattress was delivered. I asked the delivery team to bring the mattress, into the room a certain way so that it didn’t rubbed against a corner, they didn’t respect my words. I received four different answers to; how often the mattress should be turned, then I found out that the mattress weighs over 100 pounds. When I ask this question in the store I was just told that it was heavy. If you’re a man you may get better customer service than I did. I’m posting this review here because I contacted Verlo and have not never heard back.

Do your back a favor and buy your mattress somewhere else. I was told that the mattress I bought should last five years. Within six months it was noticeably sagging in the middle and now a year later it is sagging so badly I can hardly sleep on it. I get a better nights sleep on a twenty year old couch.

I grew up in Beaver Dam, where another Verlo mattress store is located, and Verlo was one of the few quality mattress stores that had any sort of longevity aside from Slumberland. Ive always associated Verlo with quality and good craftsmanship. They build their own mattresses and their sales representatives are highly knowledgeable about the industry.My only complaint is that some of the sales representatives can be heavy on the sale and act very much like salesmen rather than customer representatives. The rep I had was very negative about their competitors and I felt like trashing the competition isnt the right way to do business.Regardless of this experience, the mattress itself is very comfortable and offers great support. Verlo has a 120 day comfort guarantee so they will make it firmer or softer at no cost to you. Unfortunately, Verlo cannot accept returns. So once the mattress is delivered youre stuck with it. This is for legal purposes as they cannot resell used beds.It takes them a few days to build the mattress and then they need to schedule delivery -- which at the time of this review is free as long as youre within Madison. The whole process took about a week because they couldnt build the mattress until the weekend.
