I had a great car buying experience with Apex, after some challenges that Mike had to sort out. In what was a very smooth transaction, I purchased a vehicle, but unfortunately it started giving some error codes. Mike took the car back and he and David troubleshot some things and replaced some parts. After still having some issues, Mike brought the vehicle to Honda to have it looked at and taken care of. Everything was done at no cost to me. On top of that all, Mike threw in an oil change and paid for license plate upgrade to the special plates I wanted. We encountered some hiccups, but overall it was great. I definitely recommend Apex!

I would definitely purchase another car from Apex auto. Here’s a few reasons why. First of all, without asking for the car fax at all it was brought to us. That’s a big deal to me. A customer likes to see what they are buying. We reviewed it and seen it had no accidents, and it wasn’t owned by a dozen people before it came to be our new way of transportation. Second reason why, is because There was NOT a pushy salesman on the lot. They don’t harass you and they allow you to decide on your own time. You make the decision. Not the salesman, and at apex you don’t feel pressured to buy from them. My third reason, is the car was very clean. No dents. No smokers. And we were made aware of all the features of our new minivan which we love very dearly. We purchased a 2015 Toyota Sienna limited Premier from Apex. This is how a car buying experience should be, and I believe many dealerships in the Madison area could take a lesson from this. And when I mean many, I’m talking about almost all of them. On our second day of owning it, we took the car out to rapid city South Dakota, and it ran beautifully. Thank you again Apex Auto for Crushing the competition on price, quality and the bringing back the car buying experience. You will definitely see us again very soon.

Im from the Chicago suburbs but found a nice deal on Craigslist at Apex in Madison. Glad I made the trip up. Theyre a family operated business and are very fair and honest. The Mazda 5 I bought came with a nice 1 month, 30 day warranty. Theyre very friendly and I HIGHLY recommend anyone purchasing a car here. You wont be disappointed!

What a wonderful experience and great costumer service, the only reason I went to this place is because it has great reviews and let me tell you, these guys really go the extra mile to make their costumers happy, Mike is a great guy easy to talk to very humble, you feel like you are talking to a friend, he didnt try to push the sale like many other places, i hate when sales people do that, in fact when i told him that i had to go and test a different vehicle he wished me luck so... I went to the other place big dealership with a huge Inventory didnt like the car i drove, it was 4:15 pm already when i made up my mind and i was on the west side, Mike had told me that he was going to close at 5 pm, when I called him to ask if it was o.k for me to go back and buy his car he said hed be happy to help me, he gave up his evening on a Friday evening to help a indecisive costumer, bottom line is that if you are looking for a car this is the place for you, they might not have huge inventory but theyd help you find the right car for you, please support local business specially when they work so hard, needless to say that Im super happy with my purchase, thank you very much Mike.

Mike, at Apex Auto, made buying a car so much easier and stress free than at the big dealerships. He went over the details of each vehicle that I text drove and then let me be. I drove a few from Apex, then drove several more at three other bigger dealerships. I was back and forth with Mike, but he was still patient and friendly through it all. Had a great experience picking out my exceptional Lexus with Michael McKinley at Apex. He was very kind and not afraid to fix any issues with the car. It needed new control arms and an oil pan due to a stripped plug. He had it all done within a day and had the car ready for cruising. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is, when I got the car inspected before I bought it, the outside mechanic found it had no engine coolant! Fluid levels are a pretty basic part of an inspection. Hopefully, in the future, their mechanic is as thorough as the rest of their staff.

Pregnant with our third child, I started the hunt for a minivan. I found what I thought was a great Honda Odyssey at a great price from a really stand-up dealership. I had such a nice and easy time dealing with Tim and Mike. There was an issue with the sliding door when I got it but they reassured me that theyd fix it no problem (they even told me We wont leave you hanging). After four visits to fix the door (hauling the whole family in our other car so we could drop off the new van, and one visit I actually waited five hours), they kept telling me it worked but it didnt. So I finally took it to my local mechanic so I wouldnt have to keep making the drive into Madison. It was a $600 fix and Apex gave me $300...after they promised theyd do the repair. But thats not where the issues stopped. We havent even driven the van 1000 miles (and its been in the shop more than in our garage) and weve had to put $3000 into it. Thats right...three thousand dollars. The other sliding door quit working, there was a steering fluid leak that turned into a rack and pinion replacement, and our mechanic pointed out that the van must have been in a flood. Even if that was never claimed, hence on the title, Apex should have seen that in their own inspection and shared that info.Remember when I told you I was pregnant with our third child? Can you imagine biting the bullet to purchase a new minivan for your family, only to spend half of your summer taking it to the shop and scrounging up all that money? I cant put into words how stressful this has been.I learned a valuable lesson with this purchase: dont ever take a dealers word for it. Get a full inspection from another mechanic. Just because theyre nice doesnt mean the car is worth buying.Please learn a lesson from me: Apex does not deserve a five star rating.
