I have been dealing with medical issues for over a year now! I have seen a neuro ophthalmologist that did the same testing as pathway eye and pathway eye was able to see what was over seen! They were able to show me pictures and explain thing so that I could better understand. The entire staff is extremely friendly, professional, and is ALWAYS looking for the best interest of their patients! I am BEYOND blessed to have come across such an amazing location with the BEST staff! Being a SAHM is hard enough and having to take my little one with me to get more testing was nerve racking but they helped watch my son so I could do more testing and were so sweet to him and that worry was gone! I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone!! AND best of all my glasses came in within a week and I was kept updated! I will never see another ophthalmologist again!

Wow, so happy to have found this incredible eye care provider!! We recently relocated from Colorado, and finding new quality care providers has been downright competitive in the Madison/Huntsville areas. After extensive research searching for doctors with the latest technology (such as Optomap scans), I found Pathway/Heritage Eye Care. Surprisingly, I was able to get an appointment very quickly, and completed new patient paperwork online. From the moment I walked in for my appointment, I knew I had made the right choice! Dr. Taylor is thorough, friendly, truly listens, and is very knowledgeable about topics that had stumped others through the years. She explained everything so well, patiently answered all questions, and went out of her way to provide options and explanations. It took me many years to find an amazing eye doctor in my previous city, and I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Taylor so soon after moving. Also, the entire staff is very warm, caring, helpful, and just a joy to interact with. Id like to give this office 10 stars instead of 5! I hope to find a local general practitioner who is this awesome too!

Their welcoming customer service, even though there are CDC rules, (and they follow them) was so nice. They were sweet and took time with me, at each stage of the pre exam.Each step of my exam was explained to me, I felt comfortable and at ease. The initial eye exam, by Dr. Taylor was thorough and she is very warm and friendly! Highly recommend! To wrap up the appointment, I was permitted to keep my original frames and due to my insurance, I could afford prescription sun glasses! Im excited to see how my new lenses work for me!

I’ve been going to Heritage/Pathway eye care for years now and have always had excellent service. I was there today for a check up and Dr.Taylor is amazing as well as her staff! They’ve never tried up upsell me on anything and they are just very kind people! I can’t say enough good! They’re awesome!

Pathway eye in Madison in particular was the best ! They treated me and my child whose 3 years old with the best care ! The actual eye doctor her name is Meghan I do believe she was SOOOO SWEET to my baby girl and actually got her to participate in the eye activities by mentioning baby shark and stars stuff that kids like ! My heart was very warm by her and her staffs kindness ! They will forever be our eye dr as long as we’re in the area ! Thank you pathway eye for the great service !

The staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. Taylor was amazing with my daughter especially since it is was her first time visiting an optometrist.

Seemed like a great appointment and examination; however, they took my current glasses to measure them and when they returned them to me they were significantly scratched and now unusable. My appointment was in the morning and I only wear these glasses while driving in low light conditions so I didnt know they were scratched until that evening. I handed them over in a protective case and they were returned in a protective case. I called the next morning to discuss and they were unwilling to do anything to remedy the situation. They didnt even offer to inspect the glasses. Im sure theyd be glad to sell me new lenses even though my prescription did not change for nearly 4x the price offered at other retailers. Disappointed to say that Heritage Eye Care has lost my business and my recommendation.

I am so pleased with this office. The staff are all super friendly. They are doing a great job with covid-19 procedures. Ive been wearing glasses/contacts for 25 years. This is my first visit to Heritage. The dr has done an amazing job with my script. This is the clearest Ive seen in over 10 years! Super helpful and patient finding me the right contact fit. So thankful and happy that I choose this office for my eye care needs. Highly recommend! Also REALLY great with my two young children. So patient and kind with them. If you want to be well taken care of, this is the place to go!

On my visit to Heritage eye care I had outstanding service! Dr. Taylor and her team made sure I was in and out while still being thorough. They went the extra mile to help me out with my eye exam for a job I was getting. They also worked with me being on a budget helping me find glasses I needed that were not expensive. I highly recommend using them for any eye care needs you might have.

This is a stellar team, I have worked in a medical field on the administrative and patient care side for over 10 years in various clinics and hospitals and this team at Heritage Eye Care on County line road is superb, especially when it comes to customer service - Five star rating.Megan (MD) is knowledgeable and explained everything in detail as we went thru the eye exam, she asked good questions that I didn’t even think of asking and I felt very much cared for as a patient. This is important.Julie (RN) was very attentive and detail oriented and answered all my questions during the initial part of the assessment.Morgan at the front desk helped me with fitting post exam when ordering glasses, she was patient and had great advice on frame selection.Laura (office manager) was able to fit me into their busy schedule last minute and I’m so appreciative of this. She was very professional and welcoming, provide excellent customer service when checking me in.Thank you all so much!!

My wife had scratched her cornea several days ago and had traveled to Madison visiting our daughter. She began experiencing some discomfort that concerned us. I reached out to Heritage Eye Care via their website messaging at 10:00pm. The office manager Laura promptly responded to my message and coordinated an appointment the next morning with one of the doctors. This is customer service at its finest! I would have never thought I would be corresponding with them that late at night, much less, getting an appointment the very next morning. Well done Heritage and thank you!

Could not be happier.I came here a few months ago for my glasses prescription and my optomic technician was so friendly!Both Crystal and Julie are wonderful.I personally really like Dr. Taylor, the optometrist who fitted me for my glasses.

Arrived early for paperwork and appointment time were on target. Admin personnel willing to assist and very helpful with customers. New doctor is thorough, listens and carefully reviewed my history. She provided alternatives and a way ahead for my condition. Will keep her as my eye care doctor.

I concur with the first review. STAY AWAY!! I have never came across people and an office so rude. My appointment was at 10:30 am and I just got out at 12:30. They almost refused to check my insurance, which covers eye exams because they had to be on hold. While I waited the hour for them to figure this out of the 3 people that worked there 2 of them took two smoke breaks and smelled horrible within the two hours and another lady threatened to quit and walk-out while they were arguing among themselves in front of customers in the waiting room. I had my chaperone with me and they refused to let them go back with me which was needed after the ordeal. Then to top it all off I went to check out and they tell me that I owe $172.00. $148.00 was for the eye exam and the other $24 was for them to write my prescription. My Insurance pays up to $50 on an eye exam and I spent over an hour for them to contact my insurance. They knew what my insurance covered, but did not tell me up front what their cost are. I asked them why they did not tell me the cost of the eye exam and they said because you didnt ask. To top it all off I have a secondary insurance and they are in-network. They decided to bill me, however they will not give me my prescription until they see if the insurance will pay. They were very rude and I will never deal with them again. I just moved to Huntsville, AL in the last 3 months this is not what I expect a doctors office to run. I had a basic eye exam and they are charging more than what most people charge to do a contact lens exam.

I love the staff here, the doctor is amazing. The staff are super eager to help out, and are beyond helpful when choosing a frame to fit your style.

Stay Away! Sold us 2 pairs of $400 glasses for our kids that broke twice in the first year. When I called to get a copy of the prescription, they refused to fill it because it had been over a year. Never mind that our insurance wont cover an eye exam every year. The attitude of the staff and the doctor was rude and blunt. When the doctor saw my kids he actually yelled at one for not sitting still for the eternity it took the doctor to do his basic job. If you are military, are about how your military and their families are treated, or simply care about having an eye care office that is respectful and professional with you and your family. Stay away from Heritage Eye Care.

These people hounding me n, charging $25. For someone that is not their patient, made an apt. couldnt make it, called no answer, I left a mesg. So you rather rack up $25. On someone thats never been there, potentially losing 100s to 1000s, because why would I go, id go to another city. Because money hungry, thats ridiculous., ridiculous. They talked hard core too!
