The Granite Shop did an excellent job for us. Selection was easy for quartz, shown to us by a nice woman that listened to what we were looking for. They had alot of slabs in house to view which makes it much easier to select versus a sample piece that may not show true veining and colorations. We also purchased a Blanco sink which is lovely. From picking out quartz to install was about 5 weeks. Communication was excellent and install by Emerson and his assistant was timely, very knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. We worked with the Granite Shop to pick out and install all of our granite counter tops for a new house build. While there was an overwhelming supply to choose from, our architect and the Granite Shop were able to steer us to some beautiful pieces within our price range. The sales persons as well as the installers were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend the Granite Shop!

I had excellent service with the Granite shop of Madison. I walked in with my basic square-foot measurements. I received a quote based on several selections. I made my choice, paid a deposit, and set an appointment to get exact measurements. We set an installation date and received a call to get it done ahead of schedule. Jorge and Gerald installed and did an excellent job.

I love my new countertops! The Granite shop has a huge selection, there sales people are knowledgeable, and the installation team is professional and timely. There were some communication issues. I wasn’t told that when they came over to measure, they would need the old counters completely cleared off. Seems pretty obvious, but still had me running around. Also, I was told to disconnect the water, and when they came to install it was all the plumbing. This could definitely been avoided with a simple check list emailed out. Not a huge deal, but would have made things go smoother. I still am giving the five stars because my experience was five stars and my counter tops are more beautiful than I had expected!

My experience with Granite Shop of Madison was great. Owner Emerson Mendieta is very customer-service oriented and extremely knowledgeable. Installers masked up without my asking and were very professional, efficient, experienced, and patient in terms of answering questions. I am very pleased with the results in terms of the granite itself (mine was a replacement job so needed to match existing in other areas of the kitchen), fabrication, and installation. In addition, the project was completed at a very fair price. All in all, highly recommend!

Below average service and cut quality on product. Made the mistake of not going in to approve the cut layout because they were going to charge $100 for an appointment to look at the layout of our purchase.Would consider you look at other local options.Responding to Store reply to my review. High quality work at a reasonable price. They were professional, courteous and patient as we discussed layout options. The installation was timely and absolutely painless. They were careful and respectful of our home and cleaned up thoroughly. We would strongly recommend.

The gentleman that helped me today was fantastic!!! He walked me thru every detail of how they work and how to tell the differences in all the granites. I feel so much more educated after talking with him and cant wait to go back and see what they have to say about the design of my kitchen and what they think! Great experience!!!

The Granite Shops customer service is fantastic. I had a small problem years after my beautiful granite was installed, due to my home settling not the granite, and Emerson came out and fixed it for free! We had a lg. kitchen remodel a year & 1/2 ago. I thought I had written a review back then, but realized I didnt. Let me start off with, their customer service is not the best, but I have come to realize that is very minor & other Granite places have the same lack of customer service. The Granite Shop did an excellent job on installing our Granite in our kitchen. It included almost 3 slabs of granite & it looks absolutely beautiful! We have recently done a bathroom remodel & used a different Granite company., because they had the granite we wanted & The Granite Shop did not. I wish I had a chosen a granite through The Granite Shop, because this other company was night & day different from The Granite Shop. It would take to long to tell you all the problems we had with this company. Let me just say, it was a nightmare & we really regret using them. My husband has used The Granite Shop also for some window sills & other things at his company, & they did a great job. So if you go into The Granite Shop & no one helps you right away, please do not leave, they are just busy. If you go with this company you wont regret it, their work is A1. I realized it at the time, but more so now that I have the granite I love in my bathroom, bought & installed by another company, but does not look as good as it could of, if The Granite Shop had installed it.

Went it to get an estimate, provided the measurements and the styles I was interested in, the person said it would take a couple days. It was almost a week later when I finally received an email with an estimate of one of the styles I was interested in. Never received the estimate for the other style I was interested in...When I went to a different granite shop in the area they had someone sit down with me, talk through what I was looking for and provided an estimate on site, immediately.

The low key, knowledgeable staff is extremely facilitating- allowing customers to make their decisions from a wonderful selection of granite. My wife and I were impressed with the care and diligence that was taken in our kitchen to create the template that would guide the cutting. We were even more impressed when the final counter tops were assembled. Clearly master artisans were at work in laying out their templates and planning cuts that resulted in the most wonderful flow lines from one piece to the next. Seams are barely visible as the overall effect of the patterns across the surface amazed and delighted us. If granite is your choice you will not go wrong here!

After reading all the great reviews, we decided to stop and get a quote for our bathroom counter. When we walked in, there was no one around. Finally, an employee came in from outside and said he would be with us shortly. After an additional 15-20 minutes, he came to help us. We showed him a sample of the granite we wanted and he said we should go outside and look through their scrap pieces instead of cutting what we wanted from a large slab of granite. He then moved on to someone else and never checked back. We were unable to find what we wanted in the size we needed because there wasnt much to pick from. Very disappointing.

The Granite Shop of Madison is AMAZING. Two years ago we built a house. We checked out several granite shops in the Madison area and unfortunately we did not go with the Granite Shop of Madison. We went with a different granite shop in the Madison area. The results were less then satisfactory. This other granite shop kept adding cost to our project and the install job was horrific. We made this other granite shop come back three times to correct their poor work.About six months ago we finished a bar in our basement and had the complete job done with the Granite Shop of Madison. The work that they do is top notch and they pay close attention to detail. They are very pleasant to work with. I wish that we wouldve found them two years ago when we built our house.Not only did they install my new bar, but they corrected issues with the poor install that the previous granite shop did two years ago. I couldnt be happier with what they do. Both of the owners work with you from the time you go into their store through the time they (the owners) install your stone.I live in a new development. There is currently 12 houses in this development and 22 empty lots waiting to be built on. Everytime a new house is being built by me I will highly recommend The Grante Shop of Madison to the new owners. I have already passed their name on to my builder. I know whom ever decides to use The Granite Shop of Madison will not regret it.

The Granite Shop went above and beyond our expectations during the repair of our countertop. During the installation of a new cooktop, the appliance vendor cracked (yes cracked) our countertop two weeks before our annual family gathering. The Granite Shop guys came to the rescue and glued the broken pieces back into place so perfectly that none of our guests were the wiser. After the party, they identified a matching piece of granite, carefully removed all of the broken pieces, and installed the new 7 foot piece so expertly that youd never know a large fraction of our countertop was new. They were professionals during the entire ordeal, even though the appliance vendor was mostly non responsive for the mess they had caused.

From start to finish Ive been super happy. Everyone I came into contact with at the Granite Shop of Madison was very professional and very patient. It took me a LONG time to decide on my granite choice, and I never felt pressured to hurry. I went out to the warehouse a total of 5x, and Andrew was always happy to see me. He never made me feel silly for taking this decision so seriously. Everyone was very patient when I asked questions about what type of edge, sink, and faucet I should get. When it was time to have my template laid out, I wanted certain colors to show in very specific areas of my counter. Again, so much patience...thank you. The install was even more amazing. The guys were SO experienced--I was immediately put at ease and completely confident in their abilities. They leveled one cabinet and even fixed a wiggly, unstable 30yr. old portion so that my new countertop would fit perfectly. Im so pleased. I love my new countertops and would eagerly recommend the Granite Shop of Madison to anyone doing updates and wondering where to turn.

The Granite Shop did a fantastic job with our counter tops. First off, they are a true Madison business, the owners of the shop are the ones that will be on site to do the work. They do the custom fabrication at their shop, this is different than other shops in the area that use pre-fab pieces. They did an excellent job with hiding and polishing the seam in our top as well, a true artists touch. Not only did they do a great job on the installation, but they were very responsive by phone, punctual on delivery/install times and the entire process was complete in less than 2 weeks (from design and quote, through finished install). We had a small issue with how our dishwasher fit (its fault, not theirs) and they came back the next business day to help us resolve the issue. I highly recommend the Granite Shop.

If you are looking for granite dont waste your time going to around to the outdoor locations in Madison searching for the perfect countertop in the cold wind and rain. The Granite Shop has a huge warehouse full of beautiful choices. All of their slabs are labeled nicely so its easy to know the price range; very competitive pricing, btw.The sales reps are informative but they leave you alone to wander thru the myriad of choices. The turnaround time from selection to installation was only a week for our job. I couldnt believe how efficient the process was. The work was completed professionally and without any mistakes or mishaps. They were in and out within a three hour timespan. I cant say enough about the excellent service, professionalism and friendliness of their staff. Thank you Granite Shop. I love my new countertops!

We recently decided to upgrade our laminate kitchen countertops to quartz and chose the Granite Shop based on the positive reviews and the honest, friendly vibe we got from the owners, Luis and Emmerson.We clearly made the right choice. The process took two weeks from start to finish and could not have been more painless. The end result is nothing short of fantastic: the seam is barely visible, the fit and finish are perfect and the owners were punctual, professional and responsive throughout the process.
