Called at 8am and asked if they would do some work on my exhaust system. The old man on the phone said they are closing their doors... Not really sure I believe this as they have been around forever. Ive had them do work on my vehicles in the past. Personally the old man needs to go... Why would you turn down work??? Your loss exhaust pros... Ill take my money elsewhere.

I have never went there for a normal exhaust repair Im sure theyre fine. I always have custom dual exhaust systems installed. Every one of them has been perfect. Perfectly level. Last for years. Sounds great. Give some space while theyre working on your vehicle. No dings no scratches. From the newest of the new to the oldest of the old. They can handle it. I wouldnt take my vehicle anywhere else.

Brought in my truck, The guy hooked me up ! I do all my own work and dont trust many garages . This is my go to guy ! I feel his parts were high quality, and his repair lasted a long time. Due to the age of the truck and the salt they use on the roads, I will go back !

Great business owner and man who helps those in need and who shows kindness and compassion to those less fortunate. It’s too bad that there are people in his community who refuse to support his business because they are threatened by his desire to give a homeless person shelter during the pandemic and all the chaos going on in this country right now. They are shallow minded and self-absorbed. If I’m ever on Monona, I will personally stop to give him a hug. I’ll get my exhaust fixed too if it needs it!

Went to this shop because i needed a no-nonsense estimate on what i needed for my old car. It is my work car and not worth all that much but it gets me down the road just fine. Owner met me and put car up on lift and SHOWED me what the issue was. Gave me three choices. Cheep, Mid range and full replacement to include a Catalytic Converter. I was a bit torn on what to do, but gave advice to me that i took. Cost me a lot less than what i thought it would be and they were done super fast. Dropped car off and picked up at lunch. Car is as quiet as a mouse now and i am happy. If you want to have your exhaust done and not get charged for extra BS, come to Exhaust Pros.

My exhaust suddenly got loud when I was nearby so I stopped to make an appointment. They brought it inside, had a look, showed me what had popped out and fixed it on the spot in about 45 minutes. Sixty bucks. Im happy.

Shop owner was very helpful, showed me exactly what the issue was, and had my car repaired in under two hours. Overall I am very pleased and will definitely go back in the future.

Just from the phone stay away from this place. If you know cars and want to discuss your experience with ‘Jim’ be ready to be profiled before setting foot at the shop. I told him I did not want to use a well know compeditor because I didn’t like the low priced solution for my car, and was told that’s because you want something for free. I want a quiet exhaust, and wanted to know what his work entails for my foreign car. Apparently I’m someone who plagued him from his past because the man sounded certifiably demented. I don’t want Alzheimer’s fixing my car, you probably don’t either. But this guys not alone so maybe roll in if you want judgment.

First of all, I have never done business with Exhaust Pros. After reading the article about the homeless guy living behind this business, I would go out of my way to patronize them in the future. Funny thing is, I am actually looking to purchase a used vehicle right now! If I need any kind of repairs or upgrade, I am going right to Exhaust Pros!

Great experience! Showed me exactly what was wrong and what they were going to do to fix it. In and out in 30 min.

Exhaust issue was estimated at $500-700 at our usual repair place because they would have to buy a big part attached to the flex pipe. Brought the car here and they were able to weld a new piece on the flex pipe for $250. Very fast, friendly service! Would use this place again.

They have been at this location 23 years. I called for an estimate before i came down because another company quoted me $1100. The owner said they would have to look at it first because it was highly unlikely that i needed the whole exhaust system. Omg i am so happy i took the time to bring my car here. They saved me over $900!!! They are very professional, quick and courteous. They did NOT try and rip me off, they showed me the part that needed replacing and fixed it in 20 minutes. Ladies you can have faith in these guys to not try and pull one over on you.

Took my car to my usual place when my resonator pipe broke on my drive home from work. Got a call from them the next day saying that they couldnt fix it because all the aftermarket parts needed to fix it were on backorder nationwide. They recommended exhaust pros and said they do really good work and that they might be able to custom build something. When I asked how much they thought it would cost, my regular place said that they would normally charge $350-$400 for the fix that I needed, and that they assumed because this was going to be a custom job that exhaust pros would charge at least that. I called to make an appointment, and they got me in within an hour. They were able to weld some stuff together for cheap, and the job took less than half an hour. Its an old fashioned shop but they got the job done quick and cheap, and my car is running quiet as a mouse.

In and out in about an hour, I had the exhaust on my aging Escort ZX2 replaced for what I felt was a decent price. Once they started the work, I walked down to Michaels and had lunch. Walked back to Exhaust Pros and they were almost done with the work.I waited for a few minutes while they wrapped up, chatting with an older gentleman that appeared to be the owner. He was a pleasant fellow. Perhaps the other reviewers caught him on a bad day?

Went in to get exhaust on my 2005 Tahoe owner kept saying you cant put dual exhaust on that year. When I mentioned flowmaster makes a dual exhaust kit for it and I have seen 05 Tahoes with dual exhaust he got upset saying it cant be done and there was to much snow on it. Took it another exhaust shop duals done in one hour and cheaper than what he was going to charge

I am a mechanic with 15 years under my belt (school and certifications). Fixed everything from military vehicals, heavy trucks, cars, motorcycles to lawm mowers. I know what I am talking about when I asked for something to be fix on my car. I wasnt even making any apperances as if I was a given them advises as a mechanic and they got very rude when I explained to them of the problems my car being having.I had a change of career in the last 3 years so I dont have the proper equipments to fix my own cars anymore. Took my car to get a estimate and possibly get it fix there since they claimed they are professionals. The mechanic and the old desk guy was so rude I ended up making up some half excuses just to leave that place and not make it looks like I was piss off of their attitudes. My mama raised me right. Next time Muffler Pro! Some people are more than meets the eyes. Change your attitude. You couldve made 300 bucks for a 10 minutes half fast job and I was willing to pay that price too. Your loss. My advise to everyone, go to a professional for your cars need. Even if you have to pay a little more.

Took my Acura Integra there a couple years back. I told the older guy that the exhaust had gotten louder over the past few days but I couldnt find a leak anywhere. So he puts it up on the rack and sais I dont see anything wrong. So I said piss on it Ill go somewhere else. Took it to Portage tire in Portage and they said a section had a small crack in it and was hard to see. But yet these guys are Exhaust Pros.. dont think so.

Owner is very down to earth and shows you exactly what needs to be fixed. I had 3 quotes to fix my muffler and this place beat them all.

I got great service and work at a reasonable price.

Im updating a review I posted a long time ago. Im upping it to four stars because my most recent experience was really good and theyve been around awhile so that tells you theyre doing good business

Two suggestions when dealing with this place:1) Get a second estimate. I have been told that they overcharged me, but I have no way to prove it.2) Keep your receipt. They do not use computers and cannot be bothered to find things in their files.

I called the shop yesterday to ask about getting an estimate and was told to stop in before 4:30. I had my son stop in around 4pm today, and the OPEN sign is not lit - they were closed. What a waste of time.
