Less crowded so barely any masks. Has plenty of good cuisine and spices. Similar to real Indian or Bengali Bazaar.

Really great Indian grocery store! They have all the essential spices, spice mixes, and sauces at great prices. For a small store they have a surprisingly large selection of frozen prepared foods such as samosas and naan. The also have some essential fresh produce like ginger, lime, garlic and more. They carry my one of my favorite snacks Haldirams Khatta Meetha. Conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the Malden Orange line stop.

Billing person is helpful to find some of stuff I was unable to find, well arranged store.

The cashier was very rude. I went in the store as usual and when cashier started taking the cilantro from my bag whit his hands, I ask to please not to touch my vegies . He said that he touches everything in the store after he touches his nose and not to wear mask . I do what ever I want to do. I have already paid for everything and I tried to leave quickly. I would never go back to shop in the store.

Had the worst experience, these guys update prices at will. I would buy Desi dahi for 5.99 from few months and now just coz they have Rajbhog dahi, they immediately increased the rate for Deep Desi Dahi to 6.99 and when I asked them why the sudden change the guy immediately told me it’s how business works and it’s the ‘management’ decision to increase prices whenever they want. Not going there any more!

Friendly Staff, Great for Groceries but Veggies aren’t always fresh (understandable)

There are other same kind of shops around but this is best place to get Indian groceries and fresh vegetables.

I am a lover of exotic foods and dishes that I cook from time to time. Thats why I come here occasionally to buy ingredients.

This store don’t deserved even one star.i had been there couple days ago (06/24/2020 ) to buy Asario seeds .But Before I asked to the sales person, he said “ not to mash up his items “what a rude behavior! towards customers.for sure not returning in this store again & they over charged items as well .so i wouldn’t recommend this store to anybody.

I visited this shop for the very first time today. It was such a horrible experience. The person who was handling the register was not even present there most of the time, we had to wait for around 10 minutes just to get him back.Don’t buy sodas from here. I repeat never. We got some sodas and they all were expired and the candies that we bought were out of shapes too!!! Also they don’t have many varieties. Never going there again!

Worst indian store I have ever visited. If I could give them a zero star I would. First time I got a container of rice and it had bugs in it and then I went back to exchange it, they refused to take it back. I asked to speak to the owner but the guy at the cashier refused to call the owner. I ended up leaving the rice there at the counter because there’s no way I would take it back to my house. How can you sell a rice that has moving bugs larvae in it? I used to go to this store often but be aware of buying their stuff specially rice they sell expired items that might get you sick. Never visiting this place again wasted my money and time!! 😡😡😡

Decent sized grocery stores, you get most of the Indian spices that you need for southern or northern style cooking. For fresh vegetables, you have to go either Saturday or Wednesday (when this review was written). Not so much variety available for vegetables but they are very kind to bring the stuff if you request at the counter.

I so wanted to like this store because this is the only decent store Indian store in Malden. I bought a few groceries the first time and everything was great. The second time I went to the store to pick up two specific items that I needed. This time, both of the food items I picked were not in edible state. One of them was so rotten, it had worms crawling around in it. It is definitely not a good sign if two out of two items you picked are not good.I went back to the store to exchange those items for fresh ones. Guess what! the owner did not want to exchange them and he was just plain rude about it too. At this point, I was not ready to ruin my day over a few bucks, I just walked out of there.I guess the owner has enough customers that he would not care about new business. I am never stepping in this store again. If you ever decide to go to this store, please make sure you look at the expiration dates on food items.

You will get pretty much everything over here.. it has some Indian veggies too which you wont find in other Indian stores... you can buy some utensils or idli cooket,dosa tava etc kind of Indian cookware..everything is neatly and properly managed and organized.. you wont find any difficulty in finding things.. you can also findOrganic spices and pulses there.

You can buy any indian spice and vegetables as well as rice. Unfortunately they dont sell any meat. Price are reasonable and competitive compared to other Indian and Bangladeshi shops around.

This people are rude and prejudice the guy at the counter and me we were just talking and he’s like why do you guys in India building a temple when there is a mosque already there it’s like if you living in USA and you also have a house back home and somebody starts living in there and when you go back would you do something about it or just say oh you are living here already and there’s no point of doing anything so you just leave the house to him or her....he is against Hindus

Best india bazaar in malden

Another episode today where the deep paneer had fungus. See for yourself. Sorry, unable toupload the photo.Beware! We recently got frozen paranthas which had fungus on them upon opening.

Very much in the center of Malden and everything is pretty much available. Little expensive but can save you a trip to store elsewhere in Waltham.

Very rude customer service..we asked the guy about parking facilities nearby the store as we are new to this place.The guy replied he cant go and find parking for us and he kept the phone.It was very rude to reply like that.For sure not going to this shop.

They dont own uo to the products tbey sell. I have bought paneer from them few times and on couple of occasions the paneer was bad, like about to go rotten. I called the store and yhey said good luck. I would recommend avoid the store if possible.

As an Indian, I am narrating my experiences. This store is fraudulent. They sell edible items without expiry date. Most of them are spoilt. They are belligerent when we ask for a refund of spoilt items. I will report them to Malden City. If Malden mayor cannot handle them, I will go national. Beware when you shop with them
