Not bad at all friendly and helpful. Sometimes a bit hard to get a hold of someone when needed, but overall good. Also good deals on gardening.
I’ve been remodeling my house little by little & whenever i need something i run to home depot & always find it! today i couldn’t find anything i was looking for but Teddy helped me out & was extremely detail oriented & attentive! Love this location, always clean & fully stocked. Amazing employees
Typical Home Depot. Some of the attendants were very helpful and others werent much help at all. They did not have a lot of the specific products we were looking for and its clear Miracle Gro has cornered their soil market. There were no other brands available.
Do you want to stand in the self checkout line with two small items for half an hour only to be told by an associate that you arent actually in line and have to go to the back of a line several dozen people made behind a broken register? Two of three items were mispriced (1 grossly so) at self-checkout. Instead of getting a manager to help, I was sent to the end of the customer service line. One item price was corrected without difficulty, but the service rep insisted the price was right on the other. Again, no manager, no price check at the bin, just insistence that I was wrong (I wasnt). So, I returned that item on the spot. Oops, were not done yet. I noticed on my receipt that I had not been refunded. So, back to the end of the customer service line I go. Home Depot survey? Yeah, the user name and password on the receipt failed on their website. I guess Ill stick with my veterans discount at Lowes.

Had to return unopened Husky rolling tool chest combo (was not exactly what I wanted), had ordered online a larger Husky rolling tool chest and had absolutely no problems or issues for either transaction. Associates were courteous and helpful!

It says the price is 2.18 on sign but when I went to pay, the cashier at customer service charged me 2.98, she insisted ghe 2.18 price was for bulk order and told 2.98 was if i buy less quantity. However, there was no proper sign. So homedepot need to have clear printed price, so we normal people can understand. Not setting a foot in this store again and telling everybody too do same. Lowes is far more competitive and have excellent staffs and fair prices who wont rip you off
Went in to buy a self propelled lawn mower. They had about a dozen options. We selected a toro and the check out lady was very friendly and helped my husband when the register didnt want to swallow his cash. She interacted with my 2yr old and was very friendly.
I asked a home depot associate where i could find wratchet straps and his answer was thats a good question...
This Home Depot is nicely laid out. The staff for the most part is attentive. They need more people in the lumber and milling section. Parking is good...so much better then the nightmare parking over at the Springfield location.
Convenient, usually well stock. But, it is hard to shop there because of the ownerships unnecessary public touting of its major financial support to divisive political causes.
Went to buy a garden hose.. when I got back home and hooked it up the hose had a hole in it.. going back in the morning to exchange itExchange was smooth and easy and I got a better hose! Great service!

I absolutely love this home depot! Its a little drive for me but totally worth it! I actually have a home depot near me on 234 but every time i go it disappoints me more every time! I was at the home depot on 234 i want to say 3 weeks ago with my husband we were shopping for a grill wanted to have a worker come and help me and tell me which one would be best but no one would come even talk to us so my husband and decided for our selfs then was looking for someone one to help us put the grill in a cart I know you are asking yourself well why doesnt my husband just do it well he is a an amputee he only has one leg and walks with crutches but not even because of that no one came to help us. So I did it by myself then I needed a cover I asked this guy supposedly he works for the grill department he comes and just looks at what I had grabbed and says yeap that one is it and walked away with another lady I was furious but since I had the grill on the cart my husband said lets just purchase it and go. I dont know why that home dept is this way no customer service at All!!! Let me tell you my experience for the home depot from 28 on Liberia wow!!!! I was so shocked this young man as soon as we walked in home depot he came and asked us if we needed help at that moment we were still looking with my husband. But sure enough once we decided he was right there he literally did everything for us him and another co worker she is from India I dont remember her name but I do remember his, his name is Johnny I wanted to let home depot know how much my husband and I appreciate his help. We still have more things to buy and I will be returning to this home depot to look for Johnny and this lady thanks again to this home depot and please work on the other one!!!

I just purchased blinds from this home depot and gave the individual that custom made them the exact numbers I needed. He said he double checked and assured me the measurements were accurate and what I provided. Sure enough after getting home ready to install them I see that they are 2 inches longer than needed. Not to mention they were cut at an angle and nowhere near straight. If you dont know how to do a specific job or work a tool, the worst thing you could do is assume and not ask questions.
I needed a very specific and hard to find part (30 lb swag hook in white, for hanging plants and canopies.) Oscar went into the back bay and found it for me. That is going above and beyond. Thank you- I now have a lovely white gauze canopy above my bed like a princess!
Management has hired all teenagers who carry absolute careless attitudes who when I call for customer support. Called on 17th about an order that never arrived, person acted as if I was disturbing them and never updated phone number or offered to rescheduled. Rescheduled for 25th, never got the shipment as usual, got a different story from everyone I spoke to. Truck doesnt show up Im told and its no ones problem. Called back and the manager is explaining how one goes on a flat bead and all this nonsense like I am suppose to coordinate. Lost hundreds now because of rising lumber costs from the time I first ordered wood.
I had a good experience within the store, but terrible experience with the cashier Alice. She was an older Hispanic female and seemed put off that my wife (Hispanic) and myself (African American) were together. I proceeded to ask about my military discount because I am a veteran and she denied me because my ID had expired. I explained to her that I did not update it during covid to the veteran ID but she would not even acknowledge me with eye contact. We had to call the manager over and she was very helpful in resolving this issue. Terrible cashier that needs to be retrained in customer service.
To be honest Ali and Esmeralla @Customer Sevice are one of the kind in many companies. I personally respect someone who can consider himself/herself as a good Ambassador of the Company like what Ali & Esmerlla is doing. They are so unique. I was in need of help from someone who is working there about the items that I was planning to buy and processing the credit card application. They are so expert, professional and ready to assist customer with full of their vast knowledge about Products of the Company. They are doing this not only to me they are there to anyone who ask or need help from them. The Company should give them good credit for their wonderful job. I Suggest the customer should ask Both once they enter to the store so that they will have what they need with excellent recommendations from Ali and wonderful customer service from Esmerlla.God bless you both and your family. Keep it up. It is very difficult to find a person like you guys who respect their job. I wish if I have more words to say. God will pay you back for your being honest in your career!!!!!!!!
Whoever is in charge of inventory and re stock of this store should be fired. They are always out of stock on basic items and remain that way for months. I will no longer waste my time coming here.
This is really turning out NOT TO BE my favorite place to shop. Even though you are walking through the store from one point to the next. An associate can ask DO YOU NEED HELP. At least 4 walked by without even saying hello. The store didnt have any of the potting dirt, I am just disappointed in the overall quality and service the store provides.

They do not carry microwave or refrigerator light bulbs, how hard is it to stock 4w LED ligt bulb? Also multiple times had to look for 2nd or 3rd person to get right answer on something, hit or miss

Frequently very well stocked for the regular items like lumber, plumbing, electrical, tools, etc -- but when you order something online, particularly if it comes from a vendor. Rather than Home Depot directly, it may cause problems with the return process. Sometimes, even after delivery, it will show that you havent taken delivery of the items, which can prevent you from making a return, even though you took delivery of them though the mail.The return desk staff are good natured and patient, but its still an inconvenience to have to jump through all the hoops-- online ordering is supposed to be easier!
Probably my preferential place to shop for home goods and yard stuff. With Spring upon us unsure Ill be making many more trips to get mulch grass seed and fertiliser Whats again service as with most of these places is very sparse sometimes inadequate and every nice if people would reach out to help you when youre looking for stuff
I was traveling from West Virginia and heading towards Washington DC, so I figured that I would take a 5 mile detour to purchase a couple gallons of paint that I needed. The older gentleman at the paint desk was super helpful a and tried to look up my paint color several different ways. It was unfortunate that my paint color didnt come up. No big deal. However upon exiting the store, I approached a nearby employee to find out the location of their other store which is also located in Manassas. Thinking that she probably wouldnt know this other stores location, I asked her the location of this particular store. At first Cynthia appeared to be congenial, however for whatever reason, things turned south. I politely asked excuse me, can you tell me the location of this store? Cynthia barked I dont know. I was confused so I asked her again if she was sure that she didnt know where this store was located. That is, the store where she works. She again rudely said No!. I wouldnt characterize this person as very customer friendly, and am a little confused as to why they have people like this working at their store.
On 6/15/21 @ 10:09, I sent my 15 yo son to get a 2x4x16 cut into (2) 2x4x8. He was charged for (2) 2x4x16. He was charged 43.96 instead of 21.98.
If you need something like nails and a hammer and use self check out, you may be fine. My last several experiences there have been awful. You will often find several employees hidden in dark corners talking amongst them selves. None of them will be eager to help you. If you run into the store manager, leave him alone. He will not help you. If you have to go to a cashier, they will be reluctant to help you, even after you allow them to finish their text message. If you use a help button, the next employee that sees you doesnt want to help you and will run away. Pretty much, if you absolutely need something at home depot, find it Yourself and use the self checkout. The employees do not want to help you and do not care if you need a fire extinguisher to put put your burning house. You are an inconvenience. Expect to be treated that way
I waited about 30 minutes for someone to help me in the lighting section. I have asked the staff four times to send someone knowledgeable on lights. No one came to help.Another issue is Samsung Pay is not working at this location. Please fix your payment processing machines.When I asked the cashier why it is not working anymore, I am not the owner. he said. Great company culture.

Mariah and Arte in paint were amazing today. Helped us out a lot as a behr paint that they stopped making came back in and they helped us adjust the color to match what we bought in the discontinued paint. First class excellent service. I enjoy acknowledging excellence in customer service.

Electrical supply area poorly stocked and organized. Associates need to scan empty shelf bar codes to see what is in stock only to not be able to locate in the overhead shelves
No issues had everything I needed.
I bought a grill and had them assemble it. When I went to pick it up, after 45 minutes of searching for it they brought a grill half the size of the one I purchased and told me it was mine. I corrected them and waited for another 20 minutes. It turns out they didnt mark mine for pick up and sold it to another customer before I arrived. Luckily they had one more in stock but it was not assembled. They told me they could assemble it but I would have to come back. NO THANKS. I took the grill home along with a 15% price reduction for the inconvenience.
Great store. Good customer service. I am a online buyer for me is really important to be able to see the stock online and buy based on that. I understand there could be a slight difference, but last time I bought 45 Vynil flooring that the system said they have and when I arrived they didnt have anything. Very disappointing. You should be more organized with your inventory
First time visiting this location in E. Manassas. Customer service from floor assistance to checkout to the lot attendant was perfect and quick. This made for a really good experience. The stock available was accurate and I was able to get what I needed. Unlike other places, I witnessed the floor attendant for the section actually take the time to locate stock at a nearby store for a customer. These days, i havent been able to get that kind of service even when calling the stores directly. Operation at this location was excellent. Ill have no problems returning to this store for my needs.

This is my go to HW store in the area, good customer service and staff and management make sure to keep the store stocked, clean and organized. They always have cart and hand disinfectant at the front door which is a plus.

Horrible customer service. Just needed help finding an item not one employee asked to help. When i finally got one to help me they just passed me to another employee that was ultimately unable to find the item i was looking for.
Need more actual cashiers. Everyone lines up at the Pro cash registers. Other than that, its Home Depot. Like every Home Depot, if the web says they have 1 or 2 of something, they have none. If it says they have 3, they might have 1. It could say they have 30 of something and no one knows where it is at. Some stuff is poorly repackaged and put back on shelves. The lumber is garbage.

Went in for a new door and knew becuase of the situation I would need to get a new door and frame. Spoke with Tim and he was really horrible. I WILL NOT be going through him and home depot for this project and WILL NOT deal with Tim again for any other project I have! To hell with them!
Did curbside pickup. It went well, but after 22 minutes of waiting I called customer service and they apologized, said they were busy, and brought it right out. Another guy came out at the same time to give the order to the guy next to me who had been waiting 5 minutes. Im not mad at them, but I do question their commitment to curb side pick up. If youre so busy that no one can come out for 20 minutes then how can you suddenly afford 2 people to come out? They were nice, but they there is no excuse for making me wait so long.

Associates everywhere, but nobody can help you. Any time you ask one for assistance, they all tell you they work in a different department. Meanwhile one poor associate is stuck cutting plywood for some dude seemingly building a project in the store. No managers in sight for the past 15 minutes...The store is a mess, which indicates a lack of leadership and no one cares about their individual department. You have to sort through piles of misplaced items to find what you need. If it werent so conveniently located, Id go to Lowes.

This particular location on Liberia ave. In Manassas is the absolute worst. I hate when my normal store is out of stock on an item and i have to come to this one. If you place your orders online as i do do not expect it to be done quickly or efficiently. It will take 2 or more hours and will be done as slowly as humanly possible. Dont waste your time here just go across town to the other store where they are very helpful and super efficient.
Visiting from out of State to finish my Sisters deck remodel. The paint department was slammed, and would would help customers in intervals. I had already picked the supplies needed prior to ordering the Deck Over and color. The team coordination was outstanding. I was also informed that I had picked all of the wrong supplies for the deck stain being used. 😆 Thanks Home Depot for the professional opinions.
