This Total Wine & More is tiny and as a result, has a pretty small selection. The staff is always really friendly, though.Annoyingly, if you go in there and ask for a particular beer that you cant find, they almost never have it in stock, their website stock is incorrect, they cant order it, but they always seem to find it at another store but cant exchange stock between stores... So basically the only solution is to drive around to different stores hoping they have things in stock that their website says they do (usually not the case or nobody can find it).Their prices tend to be a bit higher than a lot of other places that sell beer as well...Step up your stocking game and figure out a way to allow me to order things or ship things between stores or if nothing else, put things on hold...

Great place to find a variety of wines and beers in Virginia. In other states (like New Jersey) they also sell liquor, which makes it a one-stop shop. Here in Manassas, the selection of wines is quite good, although I have noticed an increase of their generic brand wines (“Winery Direct”) and a decrease of other wine offerings. The beer selection seems to be growing, and today there was a ton of options. There are also more local offerings than I remember seeing in the past, which is a huge plus for me. The employees are friendly and helpful.

Very knowledgeable customer service! I don’t remember the name of the woman who helped me, but she walked me through a couple of aisles when I asked for a specific flavor and sweetness of wine. She made MANY suggestions, telling me which she preferred, and which I would likely prefer, and why. I think she talked with me for 10-15 minutes, taking her time, and informed me of a lot of different wines I didn’t know about. I was very thankful for her help, AND I loved the wine that she recommended. 10/10 customer service.

I have traveled the world and shopped in the best companies. This store customer service is exceptional. The staff is always professional and very knowledgeable about the stores product. Simply the Best!. One word is Excellent.

Great selection of craft and local beers.The staff was great and helped find what I was looking for.The store itself has narrow isles and congested. When browsing, it seems like your in the way of other customers or the staff restocking.Left there with what I was looking for,so overall satisfied.

They have such a great inventory. Although their location is not as large as most, they make it a priority to help you find what you are looking for. They had a bottle delivered to my home since they didn’t have it in stock. I feel that most stores would just say “oh, we have it at x location so you should go there”. Not these folks! They helped secure the goods. A 40 year port (which was excellent). Next time, I’ll probably save a few bucks and just stick with the 20 year.

Store is bigger than it looks from the front. Great selection of beer. Im not a wine guy, but Ive had a couple requests for pick-up and found the products without problem. Kind of run of the mill in terms of keg options, but pretty sure they can order others. Not sure if its just an East Coast thing, but I have yet to find a keg source in Virginia that stocks CO2 swaps. Low hanging fruit, in my (worthless) opinion. But only a minor inconvenience.

I came here to grab a couple bottles of Moscato. The store is very clean and organized. The employees are very helpful. They have thousands of different kinds drinks. They also sell some snacks and also gadgets for opening wine bottles and stirrers. You must wear a mask to enter the building.

Actually its a 4+ but whatever! The people are awesome! The selection is 1st rate, nice selection of bar snacks as well as bar accessories and the prices are better than anywhere else Ive tried. Curbside pick is available. Masks and distancing are the norm. I highly recommend you stop by!

Pier 1 has gone out of business next door. Total Wine should consider moving into that space or combining both. Total Wine as a concept as great, but this one is a little too small to have a solid selection.

Great selection of beer and wine including local, regional, national, and international labels. Decent chilled beer offerings as well. Only criticism is that you have to be judicious when selecting the warm shelf beers as some can be a bit older. Check for a can date, especially on IPAs and other hoppy styles. Of course that is just good advice at any beer retailer.

Always enjoy shopping here. However I came in to buy a gift for my mom for her birthday. I was with my girlfriend who wasn’t purchasing anything. They asked for her I.D. As well which we didn’t have. They denied the sale to me the purchaser completely because we were in a “group.” I get the preventative measures for underage drinking, but if she wasn’t buying or exchanging money with me or the cashier wouldn’t I be directly responsible for the product?

The people who work here seem to enjoy it, and are very enthusiastic when explaining wine.

Store should be in a bigger space, its a bit crowded as it does have a wide variety of stuff. Staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. At check out I was very pleased to see they are serious about checking age of customers as my 22 year old son was with me and he was properly carded. He was looking for a nice bottle of wine as a gift for his dad.

The service and quality of wine are absolutely delightful, my only hang up is being 24 years of age and the standing gaurdian of my sister and not being able to purchase one bottle of wine. I am not even a wine drinker and actually find the stuff gross, but the way the manager handled the situation I found unpleasant. When asked for further inquiry as to why I could not purchase the wine, he explained the store policy (which I completely understand, but would think this policy should be reinforced on the door/windows of the establishment), but upon further inquiries from my self (and pointing out that Total Wines I have frequented previously havent had this issue) he explained the true reason was because this store had had trouble with minors in the past. I find the management making decision based on age discrimination (because my fiancee went in after us to buy a bottle AND WAS NOT CARDED) extremely distasteful.

Don’t trust them.Searched on the web for the product I was looking for and found it listed as “in stock” at the Total Wine in Manassas VA.I could not find it and asked for help and I was told we’re out of stock. I asked why, at that very moment, it showed as in stock. The answer was”I’ll show it out of stock now”I drove over 30 miles each way because I trusted them. Don’t.

Great place for wine and beer. Especially if youre looking for something that close-by Target or Giant doesnt carry. No liquor (ABC liquor is to the left in the same shopping center).

This is where you go for fancy beer in Manassas unless you want to hit a brewery.

I come here once a week with my boyfriend and EVERY SINGLE TIME we go to check out, the lady immediately asks for our I.Ds in a rude manner. No asking if we found everything. No asking how we are. I know you have to I.D, thats not the problem. Im tired of week after week seeing the person in front of us treated with so much more respect. I dont know if you guys think you can be blatantly rude to young people because youre used to young people trying to use fake ids, etc. But the first and only word ever spoken to us is I need your i.d

There were several options to choose from. I chose the regional virginia wines. They were very attentive in assisting us with decisions. They also have local beers and options in champagnes.

I am increasingly disappointed with the beer selection available at Total Wine & More located at 8103 Sudley Road. Once upon a time, it seemed like the best place to go. Their Gainesville location is bigger and better stocked. It is too bad that the Sudley Road location is going down hill.
