Pros. Well equipped to service the alignment of RVs as a truck size. Elias did a great job and made recommendations to improve the alignment of the F53 chassis. Appointment schedule was easy and flexible, they accommodated a next day visit.Cons. Would have given a 5 star. Front desk could use a bit of friendliness, tact and diplomacy. Felt like I was at a shipping yard in NYC. No issues, just a very cold check out without a thank you.

I had to replace all the tires on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler, and bought tires through Goodyear.com. But from no fault of their own the Goodyear website dorked up the order, and I had to cancel. Long story short Rice Tire helped me resolve the issue with Goodyear. So once I finally got new tires I returned, and I cannot speak highly enough of the cheerful attitudes of all employees I encountered along with the courteousness and helpfulness of the entire operation gained them a loyal customer for all future tire needs. I will be recommending them to my family and friends from now on.

Was on an across country trip in my RV. Had a wheel bearing problem Called Rice Made an appointment for 7:00 AM the next day. Was told that I would be out by 5:00PM.Was there at 7:00AM. They did there diagnostics.Gave me a quote and said I would be out at 5:00 PM. I needed two front wheel bearings and two tires. Was out at 5:30 PM. Auto parts supplier provided the incorrect bearings.Cost came in below quote.I was in a difficult situation. l had called several offer options. Either they were too busy or my RV was too large.Rice came through for me. My experience good not have better thanks to Rice!

The place was recommended to me by my other tires shop because I’m running larger 22.5” rims and tires and the manager just talked bad about the rims and tires tried to sell me new tires that were in need of regular rotation and changed the price on me twice and I left for a trip towing my car trailer and had to pull over to tighten my lug nuts that were about to fall off …. Terrible I shouldn’t have to worry about the quality of the work or feel like I’m going to be up sold when my tires had 1/2” of tread life left … totally don’t recommend this place .. I know I will be finding a new place for my tire needs for now on

Rice tire, rice tire oh man oh man RICE TIRE. By far the superior tire and all around service shop on the west end of PWC. Knowledgeable, non-pushy and just a overall great crew of employees. They will be busy so make sure you either have time to wait or just drop it off. FREE COFFEE ALSO!!!!

Had them replace my trailer tires. Need to watch the workers carefully. They cross threaded a nut, took an impact wrench to it, got it stuck, then took an angle grinder to it and put a deep gash in the wheel. They guy with the angle grinder did it with no PPE (no EHS discipline?). On another wheel, they scraped the weight down the side of the wheel and took the paint off. Given these quality and safety issues, I am concerned that they did not properly balance my wheels. Will be going somewhere else to quality check the workmanship.

I had a light come on my dash board for about one week and was unable to get off work to have it looked at. I had one scheduled day off for appointment I had arranged prior. I drove by Rice Tire and thought I wonder if this is something they do. So I pulled in, ask and was told yes. I thought I would need to bring my car back at a later date but, the nice employees said, they could take care of it that day. I walked to an appointment then back to Rice Tire. My car wasn’t quite ready, so I walked home got my truck and completed some more appointments . Then back to Rice Tire, Just as they were finishing up my car. I ask about new tires for my truck and they was able to do this as well. I am so grateful that I was able to get all this done in one day for it is so hard me to get off from work. Thank you Rice Tire and the super nice front employees. I will come again.

The wait time for an rv safety inspection was quite long... 1 1/2 hours but the service was great.

I was referred to this place from Piedmont Auto and tire because they were too busy. I needed my brakes checked for squeaking on a 1993 RV. On the test drive, I went along, there wasnt a really continuous big squeak, but there was a serious pull to the left which meant calipers. I just had the brake pads replaced at the end of 2019. This place said I needed new brake pads. Because Im not up on replacing brake pads and such I went along with it. Although I dont think they actually needed replacing. That said, I wasnt sure. I did get the brake pads and brought them back with me. Should I need new brake pads again, I can possibly and highly probably, use those.The oil change at $54 was a super good deal. And heres a bugaboo. They charged me $39 for a materials fee! I think that is horse pucky. When I asked about it she said, for rags and things like that. So $570 for the calipers, $93, for the brake pads, $54 for the oil change. And $39 so they can buy rags.Loved Christine. They took me home and picked me up. (which I guess is not normal for back here in the East?)Its a friendly shop, it does a lot of business for the state. They have bays that are high enough.

Theyre fast, but expensive. And you want to make sure to check the work they do. For instance, once I got a set of 8 new drives installed, and they gave it back to me with one set of lug nuts literally finger-tight. Later I got a new pair of steers, and the next day I noticed that an inside wheel weight was loose enough to pull off by hand.

Had tire with nail in sidewall. Randy and technician showed me issue and explained they couldnt repair the tire but could get a tire the next day and replace it. Randy ordered the tire that evening and I had my car before noon the next day. They were great to work with and did what they said they would. Awesome experience!

Rice Tire did great work and completed it as promised and on time. Service manager and mechanics were very polite and helpful. I will return if I need more work done on my F450. I would recommend them.

On the phone they said $250 got there it was $360 plus. And I waited 2 hours I hope to NEVER used them again

I have brought my large RV (45 feet) here for several years for the annual inspection. Because of their extensive work with large commercial vehicles they make it an easy experience. I havent needed tires yet, but will definitely come here when I do and in the meantime recommend them highly for an inspection service.

***PLEASE READ***I will never use another company for tires after visiting Rice Tire in Manassas. Yesterday at 3pm, I stopped for gas and noticed that my tires looked really low. I remembered that they have looked low for a while, so I stopped for air. When I checked the tire pressure, both of my front tires were at 20 psi (supposed to be 32). I did some googling and found out that it can be very dangerous to refill tires that have run low for a while, since it can damage the inside of the tire and cause a blowout. I had a long trip the next day, so I stopped by Rice tire hoping to have an expert take a look. I was fully prepared to buy new tires and expected mine to be damaged.I would have been extremely easy to scam. I was a young girl in my 20s, alone. I walked in and told the guy at the front desk that a) I know nothing about tires b) I think they might be damaged, and c) I think I might need new tires. Even though it was close to closing time, he told me they could squeeze in a quick inspection to let me know if my tires were safe. It would have been extremely easy for them to sell me new tires, even if I didn’t need them. However, they told me that my tires looked fine, set them to the proper psi, and sent me on my way. I have never experienced such great customer service and honesty from an automotive company. I highly recommend this place, and will be taking my car back to them the minute I need new tires.

Very professional, technician arrived ahead of scheduled time, which was excellent. He immediately assessed the work, removed and inspected the flat tire on our 42 Motor Home.John had taken my initial call and explained the options related to replacing the tire and provided an on site replacement in case it was needed. The work was completed promptly and the debris and trash was cleaned up. Would recommend Rice Tire without hesitation.

Great place for RV alignment and tire work! My new RV was handling poorly. Rice Tire performed an alignment and tire balance and it is a huge improvement. On top of that, they were fast, courteous, and provided detail answers to all my questions. If you live in NOVA, give these folks your business. You wont be disappointed.

As a trucking company, it is really important to us to have responsive, efficient service when it comes to maintenance. We called Rice Tire in need of a tire repair so our driver could keep moving. They were very professional, attended to our needs immediately, and charged a reasonable rate for the service. Our driver was able to complete his delivery schedule due to how quickly Rice Tire responded to our service needs.

Im giving 2 stars because of past experiences, but todays experience was worth zero stars. Ive been using Rice for years and they were always helpful, accommodating, and friendly. I had a scheduled appointment and upon arrival I am told they cant do the work because of a truck taken apart on the rack. Fair enough, but a call would have been nice so I didnt drive there, and the guy was dismissive. Ive never seen him before, so he must be fairly new. He might want to learn how to treat customers with respect, and come up with a solution instead of sending me away with nothing. The gentleman who was also helping tried to get it done for later in the day, but the new guy, who must be a manager just said no, and turned his back and went about his business. So I went to the dealer and they took care of me the way a customer should. Guess Ive found a new place. Too bad, I really like the work Rice does and their customer service in the past. Bad hires ruin everything .

Fast service with no reservations needed. Some days appear busier than others so calling ahead would be recommended. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They take Rvs as well as anything smaller.

Traveling to WV, and a belt separated on the motorhome. Called for replacement and arrived. They checked my tires and had new ones. Rotated, balanced and ready to go back on the road in an hour. Thank you! No more wobble and my mind is at ease to travel the next 300 miles. 😀

Great customer service

I was passing through Virginia looking for an alignment on my RV. Not many people could handle the 5800lbs but Rice Tire said ok. They got me in and set the alignment and recommend shock replacement which I did. The impact on steering was minimal so I contacted them about the cost and the lack of impact on steering. They were quite professional, investigated my claim. Since I live in Florida and I was passing through it was impractical to return to their shop. As an alternative they return the labor cost. Very classy act on their part. BTW, people were streaming in and out of that facility so they must have quite a reputation. Ill go buy tires from them when Im in the area. Nice facility and very friendly amd helpful staff. My only complaint is that you really cant drop off your vehicle for service and wait for it to be done in 45 minutes. It must say something good about the place to have to wait a little.

Had to fix two flat tires in two different occasions. Both times, I drooped my tires (my car running with spare tire) there and left, as I was told they would call me when they done. Both time - what coincidence!? - I have to return after waiting a long time with no call back from the guys. Also, both time I have to ask to have someone reinstalling the tire on my car, waiting a long time before having this service. Last time, the flat tire was on front axle: I found then the tire they fixed was badly balanced (previous to the flat, the tyre was perfectly balanced), inducing dangerous vibrations into my steering. So, they do not rebalance tire after fixing the problem! Bad, very bad and unprofessional service. The only high standard here is the price! Folks, stay away of this place!

Lee our salesman is on the ball and you really feel that he is working for you alone. This is a COMMERCIAL tire store, not one of those boutique shops with lattes and fancy coffee. Steve keeps the guys at the shop straight as it can get busy

Had to have my camper inspected and brakes fixed. They were friendly and helpful. Their timelines are on point. If they say it will take an hour, it will likely be an hour or a little less. It can get busy, though. If you are a walk-in and you are going to wait for your car, it could be a while depending on how many people are in front of you.

Referred by Reines RV for a tire valve problem. Drove up at 4pm in the afternoon hoping for a quick check and a future appointment. Instead, they sent someone right out to diagnose the problem ( a faulty extension valve for the inside tire of our motor coach), and proceeded to fix it on the spot. Its rare that you find this level of customer service in todays world. I highly recommend this facility and will definitely return if I have any future tire issues.
